Problemele si greseli care are DM8000...sunt luate de la VIP section.(pt cine cunoaste sunt luate cu vip cartela care ofera DM impreuna cu fiecare receptor dm8000.)

* Fertigungsprobleme mit mangelhafter Endkontrolle (schlechte Gehäuseverarbeitung, mangelhafte Endmontage, inakzeptable Spaltmaße, verbogene Pins im CF-Slot, defekter Toslink Anschluß, Teilweise lassen sich ausgelieferte Boxen garnicht erst einschalten)

* Ungenugende Fixierung der internen DVB-S2 Tuner (Einige User haben schon uber gebrochene Verbindungen zwischen Anschlußbuchsen und Hauptplatine berichtet)

* Der zweite SATA Port auf der Hauptplatine funktioniert nicht richtig, weshalb DMM eine USB-To-SATA-Krucke mitliefern muß um uberhaupt 2 SATA Ports bereitstellen zu konnen.

* OLED-Display zeigt relativ schnell Verschleißerscheinungen (Leuchtstärke der Pixel nimmt besonders in der Anfangsphase sehr schnell ab)

* Fernbedienung funktioniert in Kombination mit bestimmten LCDs/Plasmas nicht richtig, wenn die Box nahe am TV steht (Inteferenzen zwischen Abstrahlung des TV's und Signalen der Fernbedienung, wahrscheinlich wegen fehlendem Polarisationsfilter uber dem IR-Empfänger)

* TV-Wiedergabe mit aktiviertem AC3-Ton und deaktiviertem Down-Mix erzeugt beim Umschalten am optischen/koaxialen Ausgang unangenehme Knack-Geräusche und kann zur Beschädigung der Lautsprecher an einem angeschlossenen Verstärker fuhren, da sich die digitalen Ausgänge temporär in einem undefinierten Zustand befinden.

* Manchmal bootet die Box einfach garnicht (steht mit DHCP... im Display oder bleibt später im Bootvorgang hängen). Das fuhrt dazu, daß Timer-Aufnahmen aus dem Deep-Standby zum Glucksspiel geraten.

* Probleme mit den internen DVB-S2 Tunern und verschiedenen Sat-Konfigurationen (Diseq Schaltspannung bricht zusammen, Einige HD Services werden nicht erkannt, z.B. auf satpos 1w 12015H und 12130H, etc), obwohl dies am selben Kabel bei anderen Boxen des gleichen Herstellers und bei Konkurenzprodukten einwandfrei funktioniert.

* Ein großer Teil verfugbarer Hardware-Cams funktioniert nicht, bzw. nicht zuverlässig

* Zusätzlich erhältliche DVB-S/S2 Tuner sind nicht in der DM8000 einsetzbar. DMM hat dazu bis jetzt nicht offiziell Stellung genommen, sondern nur stillschweigend die Dokumente und die Website geändert (Zusätzliche DVB-S/S2 Tuner sind nun nicht mehr als Erweiterungsmoglichkeit aufgefuhrt).
Update 01.01.2009: Mittlerweile haben auch die meisten Händler die Artikelbeschreibung fur zusätzlich erhältliche DVB-S/S2 Tuner von Dream Multimedia dahingehend angepasst, daß diese nicht in der DM8000 einsetzbar sind.
Update 02.01.2009: Der fur die Treiber verantwortliche DMM Enwickler hat nun auch angekundigt, die Unterstutzung fur die momentan erhältlichen zusätzlichen DVB-S/S2 Tuner aus zukunftigen Firmwareversionen entfernen zu wollen.


* Das serielle DreamUp-Tool funktioniert auf einigen Rechnerkonfigurationen nicht (Fehlerhafte Prufsumme, Hängt bei Berechnung der Prufsumme, Keine Antwort von der Box, etc.)

* Rotor-Setup/Steuerung funktioniert nicht richtig

* SatFinder funktioniert nicht richtig

* Luftersteuerung in Abhängigkeit von der Gehäuseinnentemperatur nicht vorhanden

* Fehlende DTS-Unterstutzung - DTS-Ton bei DVD Wiedergabe kann weder dekodiert, noch uber den optischen Ausgang durchgeschliffen werden

* Audio-CD-Wiedergabe funktioniert nicht

* WMA-Audio Wiedergabe nicht moglich, obwohl dies ein Leistungsmerkmal des in der DM 8000 verbauten Broadcom 7400 Chips ist (Datenblatt).

* VC1-Videocodec Wiedergabe nicht moglich, obwohl dies ein Leistungsmerkmal des in der DM 8000 verbauten Broadcom 7400 Chips ist (Datenblatt).

* Festplatte schaltet sich nach Timer-Aufnahme nicht ab - insbesondere nach Timeraufnahmen aus dem Stand-By (Tritt nicht immer und nicht bei allen Festplatten auf)

* Bei manchen HD Sendern (z.B. Premiere HD) läuft der Ton asynchron zum Bild - In der Regel läuft der Ton um mindestens 200ms dem Bild hinterher (Tritt nicht immer auf den gleichen Sendern und nur bei manchen Sendungen auf)

* Anzeige der DB/SNR/BER-Werte falsch, bzw. produziert unsinnige Werte


* Video-Einstellung "4:3 Inhalt einzeigen als: Nicht linear" hat keinerlei Funktion

* Spulen in Mediendateien (egal ob mit der Box aufgenommen aufgenommen oder externes Format) - insbesondere bei HD-Formaten - funktioniert nicht.

* DVD-Player funktioniert nicht richtig (Bedienung, Menus, Probleme mit einigen Kauf-DVDs trotz installierter libcss)

* Wenn ein Programm läuft (z.B. ZDF) und im Hintergrund läuft eine Aufnahme, dann funktioniert der Videotext, hier ZDF, nicht

* AC3-Ton bei DivX Wiedergabe wird bei aktiviertem Downmix nicht richtig dekodiert (Testdateien zur Veranschaulichung des Problems)

* Bei der Wiedergabe von Mediendateien (AVI, MPG, MKV, etc) wird das Seitenverhältnis (z.B. 16:9) nicht richtig dargestellt.

Ergänzung 07.01.2009: Eine korrekte Darstellung des Seitenverhältnisses läßt sich dadurch erreichen, dass in den A/V-Einstellungen der Punkt "4:3 Inhalt anzeigen als" auf Pillarbox gestellt wird. Die Einstellung wirkt sich - trotz der irrefuhrenden Benennung - auch auf Material aus, der nicht im 4:3 Format vorliegt und fuhr dazu, daß das Original-Seitenverhältnis dargestellt wird.

* Während der Wiedergabe von Mediendateien ist kein Zugriff auf das Plugin-Menu mehr moglich, somit lassen sich Plugins während der Wiedergabe von Mediendateien nicht mehr aktivieren.

* Bei der Wiedergabe von Mediendateien wird das Ende der Wiedergabe viel zu fruh signalisiert. (Mangelhafter Abgleich zwischen realer Abspielposition und internen Datenpuffern)

* PiP-Darstellung funktioniert nicht richtig (Seitenverhältnis wird nicht berucksichtigt, 4:3 Material wird trotz aktivierter Einstellung "4:3 Material anzeigen als Pillarbox" in full-size 16:9 ausgegeben, etc.)

* HD-Aufnahmen lassen sich uber die interne DVD-Brennfunktion nicht in eine standard-konforme Video-DVD konvertieren. Insofern ist ein eingebauter DVD-Brenner fur aufgenommenes HD-Material > 8.5 GB (Kapazität eines DVD-DL Rohlings) nutzlos.

* Bei Tuner-Mischbestuckung kommt es vor, daß nach einem erfolgten Sendersuchlauf der einen Tunervariante (z.B. DVB-S2) die schon gefundenen Sender der anderen Tunervariante (z.B. DVB-C, DVB-T) geloscht werden.

* Manche Boxen benotigen mehrere Flash-Vorgänge um ein neues Image lauffähig zu installieren. Bis jetzt ist nicht geklärt, ob die Ursache in einer fehlerhaften Flash-Programmierroutine oder in fehlerhaften/instabilen Flash-Roms liegt.

* 1080p24 Ausgabekonvertierung funktioniert nicht richtig und erzeugt auf manchen TV's unangenehme Zeilensprunge und Ruckeln, obwohl die gleichen TV's mit der grundsätzlichen 1080p24-Darstellung - beispielsweise von einem Upscaling DVD- oder Blu-Ray Player - keine Probleme haben. Anscheinend ist der BCM 7400 nicht in der Lage, verschiedenartige Interlaced/Progressiv Varianten (z.B. 576i50, 576p25) vernunftig in eine 1080p24 Darstellung zu uberfuhren.


* VCDs und SVCDs lassen sich von einem eingebauten DVD-Laufwerk nicht abspielen.

* Wiedergabe von SVCD MPEG-Dateien ruckelt, stockt, etc.

* Bei TV-Kanälen funktioniert die Audio-Umschaltung zwischen Stereo, Mono-Links und Mono-Rechts nicht. Es wird immer ein Stereo-Signal verwendet. Das fuhrt u.A. dazu, daß bei Sendern mit unterschiedlichen Sprachen in beiden Kanälen keine einzelne Sprache selektierbar ist.

* Videomode-Umschaltung bei Wiedergabe von Mediendateien in Kombination mit dem mitgelieferten Autoresolution-Plugin funktioniert nicht. War z.B. vor der Wiedergabe ein HD-Sender aktiv (z.B 1080i), wird bei folgender Wiedergabe einer Mediendatei (z.B. AVI im Format 576i) der Videomodus trotz aktivierter EInstellung "576i anzeigen als 576i" nicht umgeschalte

Aici sunt restul de probleme care are....Cel mai important problema e asta care am pus primul.....pt ca pica teoria ca DM8000 are cel mai buna imagina fata de restul de receptoare HD.Daca are curaj cineva poate sa il traduce eu o sa il traduc in google.

Setarea are efect - in ciuda denumirii care te duce in eroare – chiar si pe materiale, care nu sunt in format 4:3 si conduce la redare in proportie originala.

La canalele TV nu functioneaza comutarea audio intre Stereo, Mono-stanga si Mono-dreapta. Este folosit mereu un semnal stereo. Asta conduce la aceea ca la programe cu limbi diferite pe fiecare canal nu este posibila selectare doar unei limbi.

War z.B. vor der Wiedergabe ein HD-Sender aktiv (z.B 1080i), wird bei folgender Wiedergabe einer Mediendatei (z.B. AVI im Format 576i) der Videomodus trotz aktivierter EInstellung "576i anzeigen als 576i" nicht umgeschalte
Comutarea modului video la redarea de fisiere multimedia in combinatie cu plugin-ul Autoresolution livrat nu functioneaza. Daca inaintea redarii a fost active de exemplu un program HD (de ex 1080i). la prima redare a unui fisier multimedia ( de ex AVI in format 576i) nu va comuda modul video in ciuda setarii active “576i arata ca 576i”

* *Mit ein Samsung SN-T083A DVD Laufwerk habe ich heute meinen ersten aufgenommenen Film (Länge 110 Minuten) gebrannt.
Cu un Samsung DVD drive SN-T083A am scris primul meu film inregistrat (Lungime 110 minute).

Dies dauerte knapp 3 Stunden!
Asta a durat aproape 3 ore!
