ENIGMA 2 for ipbox HD/cuberevo/cuberevo-mini SIFTeam:

First boot take a little bit much more than a normal boot, so wait until you can see the bandeau bar (the one with infos on current channel) on the tv screen.
Default settings are for single tuner on HotBird sat. (you can change them in the menu)

WARNING: Do not forget to change your DNS configuration (if you want to use the decoder on the net). The DNS configuration could only be made by editing manually the file "/etc/resolv.conf"

This is an adaption of Enigma 2 for the DGStation's High Definition boxes.

HOW TO INSTALL:
----------------

To test this enigma2 image you need a running nfs server and a serial & network
connection to the receiver.

You need uboot 1.3.1 or higher to run e2 (never tested with lower versions)

Do this only if you want to use nfs-server otherwise go to point 3:
1. extract the tgz file on the server and set the directory in /etc/exports
for example:
/root/Desktop/root 192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0(rw,no_root_squash,sync,no_subtree_ch eck)

where 192.168.1.0 is your net base-address and 255.255.255.0 is your netmask

2. restart nfs server

3. connect via serial console with an hyperterminal connection to the receiver (I suggest you to use putty, it's freeware, and configure it to use a 115200 serial connection)

4. turn on the receiver and hit ctr+z in serial console
you should see the following prompt:

5. customize the following settings to your network environment and type them into the
serial console:

saveenv

remember to customize where /root/Desktop/root is the directory you added to /etc/exports and ipaddr is the ip of your decoder, serverip is the ip of your nfs-server, gateway is your gateway ip, netmask is the mask of your home-net

6. now you can restart your decoder and press the relative remote controller's button for 5 seconds to start the image you want:

Press Button 1: start your image using nfs-server
Press Button 2: start your image using usb pendrive if you don't have a SATA hdd
Press Button 3: start your image using usb pendrive if you have a SATA hdd
Press Button 4: start your original flash image in the decoder (DGStation's original firmwares and images based on them)

That operation is necessary only the first time you want to change your boot commands. You don't need to press all the time you reboot the decoder a button to select wich image to start, simply do that only if you want to change to e2 nfs from usb, or from original images.

La sfarsit am reusit si eu sa pun pe imagina e2.Ce scrie sifteam nu are treaba cu ce trebuie sa faci.Multumesc pe zildan pt ajutor.A promis ca o sa face un "how to" pt toate lumea.E putin complicat si trebuie sa stii linux ca lumea.Asteptati si o sa aveti si voi e2 in curind.La file de la sifteam are o greseala si trebuie sa fie corectata.O sa fac upload foto miine.

Inca e in faza beta. Mai e de lucru la ea.
Calitatea imaginii este in schimb mult mai buna fata de imaginile de pana acum, parerea mea.
Enigma inca nu-i la indemana tuturor, dar in scurt timp se vor simplifica metodele de scriere a imaginii si vor aparea imbunatatiri.
Schimba repede programele, se misca repede prin lista de canale, boot-ul dureaza un minut, dar stiu alte receptoare la care stai si mai mult.
Ca si concluzie abia azi am vazut ce poate acest receptor si nu regret nici o clipa ca l-am cumparat. Sunt convins ca pe viitor mult mai multe surprize frumoase vor veni.
Gata, mai vb si maine ca m-am culcat la 4 dimineata si-am dormit cateva ore.

Am reusit dupa ceva ore de chinuiala sa pornesc si eu enigma2 pe IPBOX900. Se pare ca problemele apar la formatarea stickului. Eu am reusit doar facand toti pasii pe un Ubuntu linux. Ori de cate ori am format din ultimele variante de SifTeam se pare ca apareau 2 partitii pe stick. Oricum se poate sa fie si probleme de compatibilitate cu stickurile. Maine am sa mai imi fac o provizie de stickuri de diferite marci. Deci in concluzie fara niste cunostinte medii de linux..sau cineva la dictat comenzi...probabil trebuie sa ai noroc chior sa mearga instalarea. Oricum nu am fost lipsit de ecrane albastre (gen windows), iar la prima bootare a trebuit sa-l scot din priza..s-a blocat cu ceva mod video necompatibil. Deci in concluzie mai este mult de lucru pana la o imagine stabila. Din cate vad eu s-au utilizat surse folosite la dream. Acum astept sa termine de scanat Hotbird sa vad ce ceva imagine. Configurare de share maine. Am sa revin maine cu noutati. Poze nu mai fac...au fost altii mai rapizi.

La mine nu a vrut sa mearga fara cele doua partitii facute pe stik.
Scanarea parca dureaza mai mult.
N-ai luat nici un ecran verde pana acum, pe enigma?

Ecranele albastre erau cu ghilimele...verzi am avut..da de astea am si pe newenigma 2.2.1 sau gemini 3.80 pe dm800.


P.S. Nu-mi spui totusi snow daca cititorul de card de la ipbox 910 are integrat pe el..si eventual ce integrat?

Parerea mea e ca e2 la ipbox e mai bun decit firmware oficial de la DGS.Am gasit un script prin sifteam si am reusit sa pornesc pe incubus automat.Am impresia ca incubus sub e2 functioneaza mult mai bine decit sub firmware oficial.La e2 nu s-a blocat deloc!!!!Imagina e mult mai buna fata cu firmware oficial.Special cind am setat-o la 720p 60 la firmware oficial a putut sa fie setat numai la 720p 50.Schimba canale mai repede si special pe HD canale.Lista de favorite e un mare progres pt mine.E foarte buna si usor de utilizat.Cu un script s-a reusit sa opreste HDD dupa 5min,inainte merge tot timpul.Are un EPG mult mai bun decit firmware oficial.Teletext a functionat dar dupa ce il pornesti nu poti sa iesi de la el si trebuie sa dai restart de la on/off.aspect de meniu e foarte buna.Am reusit sa il fac sa misca pe motor cu Moteg pozitioner si sa il fac sa merge automat la hotbird si astra 19.Daca incerc sa scanez alt satelit afara de 13E si 19.2E nu ma lasa.Am impresia ca se misca un pic mai bine fata de firmware oficial si e inca versiuna beta.Mai incolo o sa face miracole.Butoanele de la telecomanda nu functioneaza toate.Nu face shutdown cum trebuie.Stie la premiere sport si portal subservicii fara probleme.E un progress imens.

Teletextul are bug, poti intra insa in meniu si sa-i dai restart din telecomanda. Dureaza cateva minute, dar se restarteaza singura.
Cauta o lista de setings pentru e2 gata setata, pe urma configureaza usals.
Telecomanda e partial functionala.
Incerc sa aflul codul telecomenzii pentru ipbox si sa testez cu una de dreambox
