Internet service provider Tiscali UK has added three Disney-branded channels to its IPTV service, Tiscali TV. Tiscali TV launched on March 1 when 40,000 subscribers of the former Homechoice service, pioneered by Video Networks which Tiscali acquired last year, became Tiscali TV customers. Tiscali TV is currently being rolled out beyond London and Stevenage to Birmingham, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leeds, Sheffield and Liverpool.

Tiscali aims to make Tiscali TV available to more than 10m homes by the end of the year, and by the end of 2008 make it available to Tiscali's entire unbundled local loop network.

The three channels are Disney Channel, Playhouse Disney and Disney Cinemagic. Disney Channel and Playhouse Disney will be available as part of Tiscali TV's Kids Pack while the family channel Disney Cinemagic will be a stand alone premium subscription channel.
