How to read a gamma card on Dm500

You need a phoenix programmer put it in 6mhz mode ( the switch towards the slot not towards the back)

download CCcam to your dm500 & CCcam.cfg

and goto your dm500 with DCC (dreambox control centre) if you dont have it do a search on here and download it.

goto var/etc/CCcam.cfg
and edit the CCcam.cfg and add this line at the top !

SERIAL READER : /dev/ttyS0
CAMKEY : /dev/ttyS0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
CAMDATA : /dev/ttyS0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 0$
TRY ALL CHIDS : /dev/ttyS0


and you should now be able 2 read your gamma

to see the card put the ip of your box in internet explorer eg: 192.168.2.5:16001

whatever your ip address is of your box with :16001

and you should see your card reader and card details
