Team DuckTales proudly presents the first enigma2 BETA image for Kathrein UFS-910.
If you are a developer, and you have experience in (embedded)hardware/linux-dvb-api
coding feel free to contact us - you're welcome!


To test this enigma2 image you need a running nfs server and a network
connection to the receiver.

The aim of the BETA version was to create an e2 image with as less changes in the e2 source as possible.
We have moved most work into the driver and therefore we can now provide you the modified e2 source code.

In the last weeks we made many modifications which reduces the green screen, make picture and sound more
stable, add the cam module handling to e2 and add many proc entries like they are on dm machines. Of course
there are many things to do and of course some things are not done because of the amount of work and
of missing hardware. But we think that we can say that the current release has the BETA status.

Other improvements:
- changing resolution works no without changing current channel
- streaming BoX -> PC (VLC) works
- AC3 Output works, HDMI and optical
- Startup wizard works
- better RC support
...

For the future the following tasks are planned:

- improve stability of system
- add support for other cam modules (like alphacrypt, we wait for the delivery of a testmodule )
- timeshift
- handling of loosing signal of tuner
- fixing vfd
- scart and hdmi output at one time
- MKV support
...

The main change is the proc tree, which is for big parts the same as on dm's.
Not all Nodes are implemented, to get the options for each node, just make a
cat 'NODE'

e.g.
echo "hdmi_yuv" > /proc/stb/avs/0/colorformat
switches the colorsystem on hdmi to YUV

Deci au facut publice sursele de la TDT 600 prima versiune BETA de e2 pe KATHY.
Asteptam prima versiune compilata. Se pare ca aparatele cu procesor SH40 vor avea suport de exceptie, nu de alta dar erau multi care le cantau prohodul.
Cel mai mult ma bucura ca au rezolvat in sfarsit cu sonorul!!!
Se pare ca se schimba numerotarea versiunilor.

Nu am postat fisierele ca nu aveti ce face cu ele. Se gasesc pe net, dar sunt pentru dezvoltatori de software.

Ai dat o stire grozava.
Sti cumva pe cand se pregateste versiunea ? Se va face oare si pentru flash varianta ?
Vad ca au in vedere si play de mkv. Chestie asteptata de multi.
Rezolvarea in cazul pierderii de semnal e iar o problema importanta de rezolvat , intrucat acolo se cam blocheaza kathy des.
Cred ca totusi de sarbatori vor da drumul la aceasta versiune, nu ? ca e timp mai mult de butonat.

Merge imaginea.
-are sonor facut marfa, face zapping mult mai bine ca 474
-pleaca afisajul la pornire
-se misca natural
-nu pare sa aiba emu instalat si nici modificari, asa ca punem de la polonezi azi si de luni o sa avem imaginea noastra

Caut server pe care sa punem addonul pentru prima imagine romaneasca de e2 Kathy.
