Nova Hellas din Grecia cu primul canal HD.

Nova a inceput transmiterea de probă HDTV. Mai inainte Nova Hellas nu a anunţat despre planurile de a lansa canale HD.

Transmisia de probă in format HD are loc pe un transponder nou şi conţine transmisii de fotbal ale Ligii Campionilor. Transmisia are loc in MPEG-4/AVC (H.264) cu rezoluţia 1920x1080 (1080i).

Provaiderul Nova Hellas a fost lansat in 1999 şi in prezent insumează in jur de 120 canale cu plată şi FTA. După ultimile statistici şi rezultate financiare operatorul are in jur 350 mii abonaţi oficiali.
