    Vantage,indiferent de model,n-are inclus Linux pentru sharing ca la Dreambox sau altele.In schimb stie Ethernet,il si vezi in meniu,ceea ce inseamna ca poti lua direct de pe serverul producatorului-FTP- tot felul de fisiere{versiuni de firmware,liste cu canale,video,etc}.Configurarea pentru acces la Ethernet se face la fel ca la calculator,Internet Protocol{TCP/IP} printr-un cablu de internet si daca ai un modem care are incorporat si router,printr-un multiswitch,poti sa stai cu receptorul legat la net tot timpul .
