Team Group today introduced the T-Force Z54E M.2 NVMe Gen 5 SSD. This enthusiast-segment SSD is powered by Phison's latest E28 series controller that's built on the TSMC 6 nm node and comes with significantly lower thermals than the E26 series. The drive comes in 1 TB, 2 TB, and 4 TB models, and takes advantage of PCI-Express 5.0 x4 interface to offer sequential transfer speeds of up to 14,900 MB/s reads on all models. The 2 TB and 4 TB models offer up to 14,000 MB/s sequential writes, while the 1 TB model offers up to 13,700 MB/s sequential writes.

The Team Group T-Force Z54E comes as a bare-drive, with only a graphene-based heat spreader, no active cooling solution, so you're probably recommended to use the heatsinks included with your motherboard. The company did not put out random-access performance numbers, but states endurance at 600 TBW for the 1 TB model, 1200 TBW for 2 TB, and 2400 TBW for the 4 TB model. The company didn't reveal pricing.
