(PR) KIOXIA Unveils High-Capacity LC9 Series 122.88 TB NVMe SSDs for A
KIOXIA America, Inc. today announced the development of its new LC9 Series 122.88 terabyte (TB) capacity NVMe SSD in a 2.5-inch form factor - the first SSD built with the company's BiCS FLASH generation 8 3D flash memory technology QLC 2 terabit (Tb) die.
As AI systems become increasingly sophisticated, and data volumes continue to grow, enterprises require storage solutions that can keep pace with the complex demands of modern workloads. High-capacity drives are critical for certain phases of the AI process, including large language models (LLMs), training and storing vast datasets, vector databases and the rapid retrieval of information for inference and fine-tuning. Designed for generative AI applications, the new enterprise-class KIOXIA drive is built for capacity and provides a PCIe 5.0 interface and dual-port capability for fault tolerance or connectivity to multiple compute systems. These high-capacity QLC-based SSDs are suitable for deploying in hybrid cloud and multi-cloud systems. High-capacity SSDs feed training and inference data to AI server systems via these cloud configurations.

Half-Life 2 RTX Demo Coming on March 18
NVIDIA has announced that the Half-Life 2 RTX Demo will be available on March 18th and include a two-hour gameplay demo with full ray tracing, remade assets, and animations. The demo is remastered with RTX Remix by Orbifold Studios and will be a free mod on Steam for all Half-Life 2 owners.
The demo will feature NVIDIA DLSS 4, NVIDIA RTX Neural Radiance Cache, RTX Skin, RTX Volumetrics, and other new NVIDIA technologies. The release of Half-Life 2 RTX Demo marks the official release of RTX Remix, which was released a year ago in beta. According to NVIDIA, over 30,000 modders have since used the platform to mod a bunch of classic titles, with over 1 million gamers playing those modded games like Portal with RTX and Portal: prelude RTX. As said, the new demo will go live on Steam on March 18th.

(PR) GUC Launches First 32 Gbps per Lane UCIe Silicon Using TSMC 3nm a
Global Unichip Corp. (GUC), the Advanced ASIC Leader, today announced the successful launch of industry's first Universal Chiplet Interconnect Express (UCIe) PHY silicon, achieving a data rate of 32 Gbps per lane, the highest speed defined in the UCIe specification. The 32G UCIe IP, supporting UCIe 2.0, delivers an impressive bandwidth density of 10 Tbps per 1 mm of die edge (5 Tbps/mm full-duplex). This milestone was achieved using TSMC's advanced N3P process and CoWoS packaging technologies, targeting AI, high-performance computing (HPC), xPU, and networking applications.
In this test chip, several dies with North-South and East-West IP orientations are interconnected through CoWoS interposer. The silicon measurements show robust 32 Gbps operation with wide horizontal and vertical eye openings. GUC is working aggressively on the full-corner qualification, and the complete silicon report is expected to be available in the coming quarter.

YUNZII Launches x MADLION MAD68 HE Budget Hall Effect Wired Gaming Key
YUNZII has introduced the MAD68 HE, a budget-friendly wired gaming keyboard featuring an 8,000 Hz polling rate and Hall Effect magnetic switches.
