Today, Apple is announcing the launch of Digital ID for US passports. This is accepted at TSA checkpoints at more than 250 airports across the country for in-person identity verification during domestic travel. Apple unsurprisingly promises that "additional Digital ID acceptance use cases" will come in the future. In today’s Galaxy S26 leak, Samsung is reportedly bringing faster RAM speeds on its next-gen flagships. According to Ice Universe, the entire Galaxy S26 series will feature LPDDR5X RAM with 10.7Gbps speeds. Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Z Flip8 alongside the Galaxy Z Fold8 next summer, and today a report from its home country of Korea has some intriguing details about the former. The Flip8 will allegedly be at least 10% thinner and lighter than its predecessor. That would make it at most 6mm thin when opened, 12mm thick when closed, and around 170g in weight. According to one publication quoted by Ice Universe, Samsung will launch its first tri-foldable next month. The news comes with some key details about the phone, even though Samsung has been fairly secretive about it. The Honor Magic8 Pro launched in China last month, and is coming soon to the global stage. But we got the rare opportunity to take it for an early spin, so we traveled east straight to the source.
