Last week we looked at two revamped nubia Z phones, which share some similarities, but they target slightly different segments and they came out with different results. Last week the OnePlus Nord 4 was still on pre-order, now that’s over and the phone is available on open sale, including the cheaper 8/128GB variant. This is a throwback to the era when metal unibodies were the pinnacle of design. The Nord 4 features a 6.74” 1240p+ OLED display (120Hz, 10-bit) and a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset. We've been hearing plenty of rumors lately about Apple's upcoming foldable devices. We know that the company is working on a flip-style foldable iPhone and an iPad/MacBook hybrid with an 18.8-inch screen when unfolded. Sony has finally launched the PlayStation Portal in India, about nine months after its launch in the US. Apple hasn't even launched the iPhone 16 series yet, but we've already heard quite a few things about the iPhone 17 lineup, which will likely be unveiled next September. One rumor is that all iPhone 17 models will feature a 24MP selfie camera, which analyst Jeff Pu now corroborates. Back in April, UK carrier EE listed a “Samsung Galaxy S24 FE” with a model number SM-S721U. Now Samsung France has a support page for an SM-S721B, so the new FE is definitely on the way. Normally, “U” is for the US, while “B” is for European units (including the ones sold in the UK), so the EE listing was probably a mistake. Anyway, we’ve also seen the SM-S721B model number in a Geekbench test, which revealed that the phone uses an Exynos 2400 with 8GB of RAM. Mediatek officially announced its Helio G100 chipset eight days after the first phone with the platform made its debut - the Tecno Camon 30S Pro. The detailed specs shared by Mediatek reveal that the Helio G100 is virtually identical to the Helio G99 when it comes to CPU and GPU.
