There's now only a week until the Huawei P9's official launch, scheduled for April 6. Can't hurt if we get to know a few more bits in advance though, this time courtesy of AnTuTu. The benchmark maker has listed the upcoming Huawei flagship, complete with specs and test results.Huawei P9 on AnTuTu (click for full size)The concise specsheet names just the basics, among them a Kirin 955 chipset with Mali-T880 MP4 GPU, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Display resolution is quoted to be FullHD, and previous info points to a 5.2-inch diagonal. As you probably know, the P9 will...

Canonical and Microsoft are working to bring Ubuntu to Windows 10
Yes, that is correct, as per industry sources, Canonical - the company behind the popular Ubuntu Linux distribution and Microsoft have partnered up to integrate Ubuntu into Windows 10.By all accounts, this won't be done through the use of virtual machines, nor containers, which still seem to be in development within project Barcelona. Rather, the idea is to bring over the Bash shell experience, along with all of its powerful console tools, to run on top of Windows libraries and the Linux subsystem, introduced in the new Windows 10 Redstone build. While running Bash on Windows is in...

The Xiaomi Mi 5 has a lot going for it. A Snapdragon 820 SoC, up to 4GB of RAM and an impressive 16MP camera with a 4-axis OIS system, to name a few. But the handset is also dressed to impress in the flagship circles it intends to mingle with, especially in its top-tier ceramic back variant. This material choice is definitely not unheard of, take the OnePlus X for instance, but it still seems to raise some flags with many users, who seem to typically associate ceramic with a brittle dinner plate or perhaps a vase. In an effort to address this, Xiaomi has released a stress test...

Default Suppliers say iPhone SE sales probably won't be enough to offset expec

Apple's new reboot of the 4-inch iPhone factor is doing pretty well. The pocket-friendly device has reportedly received 3.4 million registrations in China and is expected to sell between four and five million units in the second fiscal quarter. Its more affordable price point is also serving great in attracting Android converts, so, in a nutshell, the little handset can be considered an overall success. However, industry supply chain sources have warned that the iPhone SE won't manage to overcome the already expected 11% or so decrease in Apple's revenue in Q2 this year. New alleged Moto X spotted in public with a fingerprint scanner on the front
Now is about that time. Everyone is over with MWC. Samsung, LG, and HTC duke it out in the beginning of the year, then Motonovo- wait, what should we call it now? Let's call it Moto for now. We are still far away from Moto's usual launch timeframe of around late-Summer to early-Fall.The picture of a leaked photo submitted to HelloMotoHK shows just enough of what we might want to know about such a device. This device was spotted on what looks to be either public transit, like a train, or even a coffee shop? Maybe? I don't know, we are just speculating here. The top corner of the...

These apps were always unofficial readers for Reddit and didn't offer a predictable UI or functionality.Ever since Reddit's popularity was on the rise the past few years, many developers who were also fans of the site have taken it upon themselves to create their own Reddit client because other clients were not as good as they'd hoped. They also must have been tired of waiting for Reddit to release an...

Default Wooden cases for Galaxy S7 and iPhone 6s Plus by Carved review

Everything else about the two phones is similar, including the design, which explains why the Quick Cover we saw before claimed to fit both devices. Meizu PRO 6 unveiled: with 5.2" AMOLED screen with 3D Press
The Meizu PRO 5 launched in September and had monster specs now half a year later the Meizu PRO 6 launches and it's... smaller? Yep, Number 6 comes with a 5.2" screen. As expected it's a Super AMOLED with 1080p resolution, but the size took us by surprise as the PRO 6 was 5.7" and even the MX5 was 5.5". The "killer feature" of the new screen is 3D Press, Meizu's alternative to 3D Touch. In fact, it seems that Apple was the motivation behind going smaller - the iPhone SE did it. While AT&T may want to have nothing to do with the new HTC 10, T-Mobile seems more than happy to offer its customers a chance to buy the Taiwanese company's latest flagship smartphone. T-Mobile is going to start taking orders for the HTC 10 soon, but until that happens the 'un-carrier' decided to do an unboxing of the new device. This isn't your usual unboxing, though. Far from it. In fact, it's following the same idea as the one T-Mobile did for the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge - that is, make it extreme. Samsung's phones were unboxed underwater, so in TMo's logic it makes perfect sense...

There's just one big caveat: it's only for audio streaming.Still, while you're in any music app on the HTC 10, just do a three finger swipe-up gesture to bring up the HTC Connect overlay.
