Baikonur. On April, 19th. " Kazakhstan Today " - On Baikonur the general assembly of a booster rocket (РН) the "Zenith-3SLB", intended for start of Israeli satellite Amos-3 is completed, the correspondent of agency referring to a source at the cosmodrome transfers.

On Baikonur prestarting preparation РН "Zenith-3SLB" and Israeli satellite Amos-3 comes to the end.

In the test case of a platform № 42 experts of the cosmodrome have finished general assembly РН "Zenith-3SLB" which course to a rocket there was the space head part consisting from of the block " and satellite AMOS-3,

Now joining of electric connections is spent and regular checks of connections of a booster rocket are carried out.

Export of a booster rocket "Zenith-3SLB" with a space vehicle on a starting complex of a platform № 45 is planned on Monday in the morning, on April, 21st.

Start РН "Zenith-3SLB" with КА Amos-3 is planned for leading from the modernized starting complex of a platform № On April, 45 24th, 2008.

КА Amos-3 should replace in an orbit device Amos-1 started in 1996. Amos-3 will expand a cover zone of retransmitters of a Ku-range, will provide high-quality communication and broadband data transmission in territory of the Near East, the Europe, Africa, and also in some areas Northern and South America.

At the Baikonur spaceport work is being completed on launch preparation of the "Zenit-3SLB" launch vehicle with "Block-DM-SLB" as the third stage and the Amos 3 spacecraft. Today, at the launch platform, by the joint efforts of Roskosmos and Ukrainian enterprises, and with the participation of the specialists of the customer, the spacecraft batteries are being charged. Tomorrow, at 3:00 Moscow time, the meeting of the State Commission will begin, which must make a decision about the launch. The launch is planned at 9:00 Moscow time, 24 April of this year.
