There are two changes needed to start TITAN:
-before extracting a symlink is required

cd var
ln -s /usr usr

-a font path in config is wrong

in titan.cfg replace:
fontfile1=/var/usr/share/fonts/default.ttf
with
fontfile1=/usr/share/fonts/default.ttf

do not know why but it does not work !!

as zildan wrote you have to change the fontpath in titan.cfg
to /usr/share/fonts/default.ttf because there seems to be the fontfile on spark.
