Da am folosit amdcccle -h, se deschide Catalyst Control Center, unde rezolutia maxima care apare este 1366x768. Nu inteleg de ce nu suporta rezolutii mai mari. Am rulat comanda xrandr, iata ce apare:
Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 1366 x 768, maximum 1600 x 1600
LVDS connected 1366x768+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 344mm x 194mm
1366x768 60.0*+
1360x768 60.0
1280x768 60.0
1280x720 60.0
1024x768 60.0
1024x600 60.0
800x600 60.0
800x480 60.0
640x480 60.0
DFP1 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)
CRT1 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis)

Rata de improspatare o poti da la mai mult de 60 de HZ ???
Ca din cate vad (copy paste-ul aruncat) se pare ca nici aia nu merge mai mult de 60 Hz.

Multumesc dMd, mai doresc sa va intreb daca se poate (prin ce comanda) sa instalez toate pachetele de pe DVD-ul cu Fedora 16/17 dupa ce am instalat OS. Problema era simpla daca aveam conexiune la internet. Mentionez ca in fisierul fedora.repoam schimbat calea de pe internet pe DVD. Multumesc domnilor.
