Software upgrade from USB memory stick (host):

• backup important data from memory stick before try to update. Remove all data from it.
• copy "usb update.img" image to USB memory stick
• run "remove h/w(memory stick)" function on PC. You can see icon on right bottom (left of clock) screen.
• turn off the stb(Standby + OK) and insert the memory stick.
• press and hold Standby button until front display shows “BOOTING” and press UP key
(on the front side of the box, not on RC), then front display shows "USB UPGRADE" message..
• uboot will update s/w with usb_update.img from memory stick
• Wait until DONE message displays. Restart your receiver.

Instalation

copy "addon_version-9000HD_sh4_110608.ipk" to /tmp

connect to box with webinterface ( write IP adress of your box to internet browser)

use login/password : root/ipbox

go to menu addons

press install

wait for STB reboot



configuration files are located in var/tuxbox/config

Cand imaginea cu enigma 2 o sa functioneze atunci o sa fie un concurent serios pt DM800...abia astept sa apara...cam pe cand ma intorc din concediul din Corfu...

Mai simplu dezvolta un program share p2p cu protocol ccam ( daca tot sint incapabili sa actioneze in directia MPCS/gbox )

Pe acelasi tip de procesor E2 portata ar asigura compatibilitatea executabilelor ( cazul modelelor cu procesor PPC405 ) , acum E2 pe ST40 este tichie de margaritar pe capu' chelului .

Imagina cu enigma 2 functioneaza.Acuma face niste cosmetizarile.in curind o sa aduc si poze cu enigma sa ruleze.Asa cum ati vazut povestea ipbox nu se asemana deloc cu povestea kathrein.La kathrein aparatul e foarte bun dar producatorul nu e prea interesant pt el.Asta se vede foarte usor cu citi updaturi a scos pt aparatul asta.In al doila rind multe lucruri banale nu sunt bagate la soft cum e diseqc 1,2 (asteapta kathrein sa fie rezolvat toate problemele de la simpli user care se ocupa ca hobby cu receptoare si cu plug in)DGS impreuna cu ABCom lucreaza mult si scoate firmware aproximativ fiecare saptamina.In al doila rind sunt 2 team unoficiale sifteam si NLB care se ocupa si ele.Enigma 2 o sa vine de la ABCOM si nu de la sifteam sau de la NLB.Cum o sa vedeti la ultimul firmware sunt modificate spre bine mp3 player si image view.Acuma lucreaza si pt divx player (adica o sa poate sa ruleze filme divx de la hard disk nu prin vlc)si pt IPTV.S-au observat ca plug in se misca cam greu asa s-au hotarit sa face un concurs cu cadouri pt cel mai bune plug in-uri.Asa cred ca in viitor o sa apare si plug in ca lumea.

In curind o sa iese EPG 0.8b care o sa contine programul pt toate canale.Am o rugaminte am pe impresia ca e timp sa facem un section separat pt ipbox.Care sa putem sa punem pe settings,firmware,programe,news separat.Aica asa cum il bagam a inceput sa fie obositor si multii nu reuseste sa gaseste ce punem.

***Asta versiuna e pentru ABcom 900HD***

NLB release for IP900 using SVN7473 for CubeRevo mini. It has been tested and verified.

Upgrade box using usb key.. image file should be named "usb_update.img"

PS: Known issue on first boot startup of box. DHCP not working. You need to go into ip setup and choose save in ip setup for DHCP or STATIC, then all is ok.

For the people who are thinking of testing every option from the WEBIF, please have the following warning in mind:

Don't use mgcamd v1.29a or 1.29a patched since that will hang the receiver. If you use it, you can't change channels and when you kill it the receiver hangs hard. No panic on the display, only a poweroff will work. When you use 1.29a, you won't be able to reboot the receiver from webif. That will hang the receiver to.

If you have selected 1.29a or the patched version. Remove the file /var/etc/use_mgcamd129 or /var/etc/no_lib_mgcamd using a telnet or SSH session. Then shutdown the receiver. That will give you the new and good mgcamd version

In all other options, the image is very stable

Asa cum ati vazut enigma 2 o sa exista pt ipbox 9000HD.O sa revin cu mai multe fotografie care o sa trimite Tomma mechanicul de la abcom.Asta versiuna enigma 2 e scoasa de la firma abcom si nu din team sifteam sau nlb.Idea e ca ipbox o sa are support de la abcom pt enigma 2 in comparatia cu kathrein care enigma 2 e scos de la un team.Si pina acuma nu e evoluat deloc.
