problema e ca ma doare capul...
m-am chinuit ieri o jumate de zi, am stat azi noapte pana la 1.30... e vorba desre dsr 9500 em via.
la inceput nu mergea pana am descoperit ca e vorba de cablu, eu aveam null modem, si recul asta vrea serial (chiar ma miram dece in rec e mufa mama, si nu tata ca de obicei). am taiat cablul, l-am facut serial ,11 22 33 44 55 66 77 88 99. a inceput sa se miste cate ceva.
am incercat in toate felurile, cu hiper terminal, cu dsr studio, cu samsung editor...
am luat soft de aici, ca gasesc cata-i lumea

am incercat cu multe softuri. nu intra meniul ala ascuns
am pus si firm, si emu... nu intra...
folosesc un adaptor usb-serial, dar interesant, ca folosind un satedit9500, cand dau sa citeasca ce e pe rec,citeste, imi apar pe ecran satelitii si programele.
l-am resetat la factory settings de mai multe ori,
am incercat si in standby si pornit. samsungul ca sa intre in faza de upload, trebuie tinut pe dreapta si pornit, apare pe ecranul recul 301... am facut si asa, pur si simplu nu vrea sa merarga.
nu i se schimba versiunea. am inteles ca e vorba de un loader care terbuie schimbat, si eu am 505, si ar trebui 501...
in sistem imi apare 505, firm 132, 503.
a avut cineva de-a face cu asa ceva?
ma poate ajuta cineva?
eu am citit pe multe forumuri, am cautat, am sapat, sa vad ce e, de ce nu merge...
mai am si niste power pointuri
daca cineva vrea sa ma ajute il rog sa-mi dea un PM cu id-ul de mes, si ii pot trimite toata documentatia adunata.

la inceput cu hiper terminalul, dupa ce dau dupa ce dau drumul la rec, incepe sa se incarce loading cccccc si dupa aia dau send, si imi da eroare...

If you have problems maybe uploading the new EMU or whatever... All black? Sammy wants SW and from scratch, as it keeps giving you some numbers in the display, like 6-01 changing to 6-03 or so? Well, kill your Sammy at the back and then... Here's a copy of my post from other threads:

Uploading Software Into Samsung Using Hyper Terminal

Start/Program/Accessories/Communications/Hyper Terminal

Setting the Hyper Terminal

1. Start Hyper Terminal.
2. In the field "Name" write for example Samsung 9500, choose an icon and click OK.
3. In the new opened window, near "Connect using" choose "Direct to COM1, afterwards click OK.

Port Settings

1. Bits per second : 115200
2. Data Bit : 8
3. Parity : NONE
4. Stop Bit : 1
5. Flow Control : Hardware
Click OK

Uploading software into Hyper Terminal

1. Choose TRANSFER
2. Then choose SEND FILE ....
3. BROWSE - select from hard drive the desired version of software (e.g. DSR9500_Eurocam_5-1_EMU_vXX.bin)
4. Choose 1KXmodem for Protocol
Don't press the button "Send", you will do it subsequently.

After you have done the procedure described, connect your computer with Samsung using a RS232 connection cable.
Before you start uploading the new software into Samsung I would advise you to firstly remove all the cams or cards from it (if any are inside).

The things you have to do are :
1. Disconnect your Samsung using the switch on the rear.
2. In the front of Samsung keep pressed the "right arrow" (volume up).
3. Power up your Samsung on the rear switch and keep constantly pressed "right arrow" (volume up).
Keep the "arrow" pressed until the "3-01" appears on the display,
from that moment the computer will show "............................... Loading"
4. In that moment, in the Hyper Terminal, click the button "Send" (you have about 15 seconds to perform that operation).
With clicking on "Send" starts the uploading the software into Samsung.
Don't be hasty! Wait for entire process to terminate.
Process is terminated when on the Samsung a clock appears.
Afterwards insert some of the cards with Conax emulation without keys.
That was it.

If you have done all properly, there is a desired version of software in you Samsung.
The easiest way to verify if upload succeeded : Menu/System properties/System information.
Old versions of the EMU software has the version number 118 and new have 133.


HOW TO FOR SAMMY WITH GOLD EMU BY MAHDI

1) Samsung DSR 9500 VIA CI [HW 504, Loader 500 or 501 can use both but 4.3 or later] - put it on Standby

2) Connect to the PC via straight serial cable

3) Start Samsung DSR Studio 1.2 Editor by MAHDI

4) Choose FW Loader TAB

5) Choose Serial Port

6) Click on Send FW and then choose which EMU [and it's away, racing...]

7) Wait untill you see the clock on Sammy Display

8) Start Sammy [on FTA channel, just in case], check it, then put it on Standby

9) Click on RAM Editor Tab in the Samsung DSR 9500 Studio Editor by MAHDI

10) Choose Serial Port, then Open File, then click on Write and wait for the clock again

11) If you see "Insert smartcard" message, just re-start Sammy

12) At this point I would [and I am going to]
Menu -> Channel organising -> Delete all channels and then
Menu -> Installation -> Manual Scanning and do your own settings list... But it may not be necessary, just rescan Manually if you do not get some channels/transponders!

13) Gonna experiment with various cards/CAMs to see what works and how...

14) Must sort out the GBox and Card Sharing bits... [SEE BELLOW!!!]

15) More than anything must have fun doing it!

We could do with a bit of an editor/controls of all the CS options [2 pieces of SW]. Both as a Server via a programmer in the Phoenix mode and as a Client.

se pare ca pentru a putea pune gold emu, trebuie sa am deja instalat in rec loaderul 501, eu am 505, si cred ca de aia nu pot pune emu, dar problema e ca nu pot pune 501, ca de coborat, l-am coborat de pe net, il am, dar nu vrea sa intre...

PREPRAVKA SAMSUNG DSR 9500 RISIVERA
Objasnjenje kako se to radi sa Hyper Terminal.

Uz HyperTerminal softwer pomoću kojega se ubacuje novi firmware u Samsung 9500 potreban je i”bin” file firmware za Samsunga. Trenutno je aktuelna verzija EMU 4.6, koja omogućava korišćenje Seca,Seca II Viaccess, Conax,Irdeto i Nagravision kartice u ugrađenom viaccess dekoderu.

Trebace vam i serijski kabl kojim ćete povezati Samsung risiver i računar putem COM porta, svejedno kojeg ( ukoliko imate dva na maticnoj ploci ).

1. Startujte Hyper Terminal: Start -> Program -> Accessories -> Communications -> Hyper Terminal. Naravno, ukoliko ga imate drugacije instaliranog odabracete vasu putanju.

Kada ste startovali Hyper Terminal na ekranu ce vam se pojaviti sledeci prozor:










Najverovatnije da ce te tada imati i ovaj prozor a ukoliko ga ne dobijete odaberite : File -> New Connection i pojavice se :


Sa slike odaberite prvu iconu ( telefon ). U meniju Name : mozete napisati bilo sta ili cak samo jedno slovo I kliknite na OK.

U novootvorenom prozoru za Connect using odaberite Com1a potom ponovo na OK. Naravno ako ste kabl spojili na Com 2 odabracete njega.



Sada ce vam se pojaviti ovakav prozor a parametre u njemu ce te postaviti upravo onako kako pokazuje fotografija.




Nakon ispravno unetih parametara kliknite na OK .










Pojavice vam se ovakav prozor a iz njegovog menija odabrace te Transfer ->Send File


I sada dobijate prozor u kojem klikom na Browse treba da pronadjete vas zeljeni bin file

U donjem okviru odaberite 1 K Xmodem
Ukoliko vam risiver do sada nije bio povezan sa RS 232 prikljuckom na racunaru, mozete to uraditi i u ovom momentu.



Potom ce te iskljućiti risiver iz napajanja pomoću prekidača sa zadnje strane. Sada na risiveru pritisnite dugme sa desnom strelicom te ne ispustajuci ga sa drugom rukom ukljucite risiver ponovo u napajanje tj. pritisnite prekidač napajanja sa straznje strane.
Kada na ekranu ugledate sledece podatke:

"Samsung Loader (Ver 1.0) ..................................."

Na prednjem panelu risivera biće ispisana sljedeća poruka:
"3-01"

A na PC računaru:
"............. .................................. Loading"
PUSTICETE TIPKU SA DESNOM STRELICOM a potom kliknite na Send



Sada na monitoru dobijate finalni prozor koji ce vam prikazivati proces upisivanja novog softwera u vasem Samsungu.












Pratite proces do kraja ne dirajuci nista.

Tek kada ste na monitoru ugledali Writing end mozete odahnuti jer sada ste uspesno okoncali ceo postupak ubacivanja novog softwera u vasem risiveru.

Solutia e JTAG.Si eu am un dsr9500 via ci si tot la solutia asta am ajuns acu' vreo 6 ani.Un loader superior la 501 (adica 504-505)nu permit update pe portul serial ceea ce 500 si 501 fac asta.
Deci va trebui sa te inarmezi cu rabdare si sa ii dai jos loaderul . Daca nu ai facut-o intre timp.

am un receptor samsung dsr 9500z. si am sters toate canalele. cand am incercat din nou sa scanez (am ales hotbird) nu mi-a mai gasit nici unul. ce s-a intamplat? cineva mi-a spus ca ar trebui sa incarc un set de key, un bin file ca sa le pot receptoina din nou. voi ce credeti? am gasit un loader semcodsr9500edit, dar imi cere un bin file. unde as putea sa-l gasesc? trimiteti-mi, va rog un link, sau dati-mi o solutie....
