Hungarian DTH Hello HD considers 3D

The Hungarian DTH platform Hello HD may be the first broadcaster in the country to introduce 3D services, according to its chairman, Peter Szabo. Speaking to HWSW, he added that it was probably better placed to do so than larger players in the marketplace and that its customers already had the necessary set-top boxes for 3D reception.
Szabo also discussed the dilemma Hello HD currently find itself in with the MMDS service Antenna Digital, which it acquired from Antenna Hungária earlier this year. There are two options currently being considered for the service by Hello HD, the first of which would see Antenna Digital’s subscribers moved to satellite and second keeping the two operations separate. The former would require significant investment, while the latter should at least see the two operations use the same name, though Hello HD is contractually obliged to retain the Antenna Digital brand for 13 months.
Antenna Digital currently has around 37,000 subscribers and Hello HD some 4,000.

Am vazut inca de la inceputuri Hello HD insa ei am strans foarte putin abonati in Ungaria !Calitatea este slaba de ex , premierele cinematografice de pe Film+ sunt in format 4:3, DigiSport se vede rau de tot, au probleme cu epg-ul si cu pirateria.Acum sunt presati de upc si de mindig care deja au canale hdtv si singura lor alternativa e sa incerca 3d-ul

Eu am dubii ca v-a introduce 3D,din moment ce zici ca au o asa calitate proasta.
Daca nu au investit in imagini de calitate 16:9 sau HD crezi ca vor sari cu 3D?!
Si daca sa zicem ar face-o,crezi ca vor avea mai multi clienti?La cate TV 3D sunt in gospodariile oamenilor obisnuiti.....nu cred ca ar da lovitura,sa atraga clienti noi.
Dar pot sa incerce.
