I've downloaded via RSP Panel, after 1 minute, menu is displayed which shows RSP is installed on sda3, then i have choice to install to sda4 or return to menu.

sda4 is my movie/record partition.

How do i install to sda3 ?

Ok. So, you have on sda3 an active RSP image and you intend to download and install the new image on your receiver. It is obvious that you cannot install in the same partition sda3 the new image, as if something wrong happens while the new image is installed, receiver is not able to use the former image and reboot. You must choose a different partition.

I assume you have only 4 partitions, sda1 used by BA and the sda4 is your movie/record partition. The only remaining solution would be to choose sda2.

You are right about the 4 partitions, i have a different image in sda2 which i rarely use but would like to keep

I prefer to use RSP, can i download the latest version and overwrite sda3 using BA installer. Don't mind if it goes wrong as i can always re-install last version.

A wise man (Zildan) suggested me this solution when I was in a similar situation: take one of the existing partitions, e.g. the largest one, delete it and create a new extended partition in that space. Then in the extended partition you can create multiple logical partitions. Make one larger partition for movies, recording etc. and a few 250MB partitions for installing different E2 images - you can use them in a cycle as new images get released.

When I stopped the trial of record , I lost the PMT --> reboot.

Same problem of tuner with the last AAF "spirit of spring"

Buna , nu se stie cand se rezolva problema cu decodoru DTS ?
ultima data am primit acest raspuns pt. care multumesc mult:

Nu merge decodoru DTS in ultimele imagini. Se pare ca e ceva cu licentza.
In cea veche era activat (chipul din Kathy are decodare hardware DTS ).
CA sa auzi sonorul DTS trebuie sa ai receptor audio (statie) cu decodare.

la aceasta imagine am verificat filmele avi care merg ok cu sub ,dar sunt filme care nu am imagine doar sunet oare se vor inbunatatii codecurile pe parcurs

eventual filmele mkv vor avea sunet ca imaginea e perfecta
