    Post Recomandare switch...

    Salut, rog frumos , pe cei care au utilizat , sa vina cu recomandari pentru un switch de net , am router LINKSYS WRT 54 GL dar nu imi m ai ajung porturile ( 4 ) si m am gandit sa pun legat de router un switch cu 8 porturi . Rog recomandari ..

    Am inteles , ca sunt si cu management si fara ...

    Astept sfaturi ....

    Nu prea are rost sa-ti iei switch scump pentru ca oricum ai router-ul din care faci setarile de baza. Management pentru ce, la ce sa-l folosesti? Un switch simplu consider ca iti este de ajuns. poti merge pe marci de genul TrendNet, D-Link, 3COM, etc... nu e cazul de CISCO sau mai stiu eu ce.
    Internetul e distractie, nu pierde controlul!

    Foloseste Google si YouTube inainte de a pune intrebari stupide!

    Al meu e TP Link si nu am avut nicio problema cu el.Ma folosesc de el.
    Asa cum spunea si @XVanish,nu cre ca merita sa dai bani multi pe un switch.

    Cu 8 porturi are un prieten Levelone si merge de vreo 2 ani si ceva.

    salut,
    daca nu vrei sa acoperi distante mari poti sa cumperi orice cacareaza de switch...
    de exemplu, la birou am un HUB de 10mbit 3com, lagat la un cablu utp intre cladiri, in cealalta parte e un TPlink de 16 porturi cu alimentare interna etc. acel 3com e singurul switch din cate am incercat care reuseste sa trimita date prin acel cablu, adevarat distrus, calcat, plouat etc.
    dar pentru acasa, cred ca e ok si un switch de 30 de lei.

    @oasisone pai spui ca e hub, normal ca orice switch nu poate face ce face el fiindca e hub....sti doara ce face un hub....in caz ca nu sti uite un link

    Hubs are classified as Layer 1 (Physical Layer)devices in the OSI model. At the physical layer, hubs support little in the way of sophisticated networking. Hubs do not read any of the data passing through them and are not aware of their source or destination. Essentially, a hub simply receives incoming packets, regenerates the electrical signal, and broadcasts these packets out to all other devices on the network.
    PS: si eu am un switch 3Com cu 48 de porturi, cu manage dar lucra fara pic de problema.
