UFS910 e2 stick image, all latest RSP updates included, based on TDT rev.1749
AC3 DownMIX is NO longer mandatory.
The most important thing that we want emphasize, regarding this new release, is that receiver is more stable now.

In order to avoid annoying situations when receiver stop responding, you will find a new feature, EMUwatch, that can be enabled/disabled from the RSP panel, the Start/Stop EMU menu option and the main goal is to act like a watch-dog for your active EMU

-s-a introdus instalarea e2 direct din Panel
-adaugat EmuWatch (auto-restart pentru IncubusCamd si Mbox)
-procedura noua de despachetare a modulelor
-adaugat in meniul de configurare A/V controale manuale pentru TINT, Contrast, Luminozitate (Brightness) si Culoare (Colour)
-interfata web rsp-webif a fost temporar inlocuita cu cea preluata din imaginea Enigma2 Dreambox
-reafisarea pe ecranul VFD a numelui canalului dupa ce a fost afisat mesajul de pornire emu
-adaugata capabilitatea de montare a tuturor formatelor valide ale partitiilor Linux si Windows
-mici modificari aduse in cwscript_e2.sh
-introdus ShareInfo 2.21, descarcarea adresei de *** de pe serverul RSP
-s-a introdus scriptul cwscript_e2.sh de actualizare SoftCam.*** (autor: stinkefisch)
-au fost adaugate noi module plugin, cum sunt afisarea permanenta a ceasului pe ecran (Permanent Clock), editarea listei de steliti, si multe altele
-configurarea implicita a CrossEPG a fost schimbata pe valoarea “small”
- linia de program epg din fisierul /etc/init.d/rcS a fost eliminate
pachetul de programme CrossEPG a fost actualizat, s-a adaugat si configurarea implicita a cestuia
-s-a adaugat in nucleul imaginii comanda “ipkg”

-a fost adaugata auto-testarea starii EMU dupa revenirea din starea de stand-by, se lanseaza auto-restart in cazul in care EMU e oprit (s-a adaugat emucheck.sh)

in cazul in care se depisteaza absenta /hdd/movie se creaza in mod automat

I had 2 troubles

• with the green button ( no video size change ? )
• interface ( yellow button in extension ) with webinterface

1) does this image correct the problems with incubus and NDS cs (> 800ms CW, etc)
2) does this image include the new Video drivers (better quality HD & SD)
3) which incubus version is better 4 that image ?

Partially solved, the image works if DCW has over 800 MS delay.

New drivers, but quality is not better.

I think latest version is better.

Primele impresii si probleme:
Grave
- crash in Media Player dupa ce se termina o melodie
- pasii pentru reprodus:
1 load mp3s in playlist
2 start one of them with OK
3 browse to another
4 start this one with OK
5 repeat steps 3+4 a few times
6 leave mp3 play to the end
7 at the end => crash
- n-am reusit sa gasesc crashlog-ul

- picture player-ul e inutilizabil
- daca merge(rar) e infernal de lent
- uneori nu incarca pozele deloc (cel mai des)
- pozele de dimensiuni mari le refuza cu eroism
- preview-urile sunt decodate ciudat, alb-negru si inclinat (pixel depth and/or format mismatch)

- fara imagine imediat dupa instalare indiferent de satelit si post
- face tuning (arata SNR, BER, EPG, etc/) pe canal dar nu arata nici o imagine
- gaseste canale noi daca dai search
- nu merge chiar daca descarci o noua lista din RSP Menu
- merge dupa ce am incarcat o lista de la o versiune de E2 AAF

mai putin grave sau minore:
- nu face automount (la partitiile FAT32 cel putin) asta cred ca-i intentionata - dar se poate rezolva usor
- nu citeste numele lungi de pe FAT32 - in Media Player totul arata aproape inutilizabil
- nu vede in Media Player extensia .trp pentru fisierele salvate cu imaginea originala Kathrein
- forever spinning cand am incercat sa pornesc un .ts inregistrat cu AAF last summer dream
- forever spinning cand am incercat sa pornesc un .ts cu ceva HD content
- in meniul principal de pe prima pozitie, cu sageata sus nu poti sari la ultima pozitie - asta inseamna ca pentru un restart tre sa dai vreo 10 sageata jos
- dintr/un buchet nu poti sari la un alt buchet cu FF sau REW trebuie sa revii tot timpul la lista principala de favorite

Cam astea pana acum.

Hello Zildan,

1st of all i want to wish merry xmas amd a happy new year to all and to thank you for your efford and the new image. (i tryed to send you a PM, but it shows always 0 sent items...)

The new image is much more stable than all others b4, i managed to to have a NO freeze time of 48hours and to even record(timer) a movie.

Unfortunately after 48h i got either a colorfull snowy screen or a Purple screen and the UFS has frozzen again.

My configuration is :

UFS910 with 2.0 official image in Flash
4Gig USBStick divided in 4 Partitions
Each E2 Image is installed in its own Partition
E2 latest RSP Spynx, EMUWatch on, Incubus 0.96,
local CS to a 7025 with cccam 2.1.2
The Card i share to the UFS is a Sky Germany Card A02 (same as German S02 card, Nagra 3 cards with Betacrypt tunneling).

I read that all others have no similar problems anymore, so it seems that the probs occur with my setup.

Can you help me please ?

Search and put stisk Sandisk max 2 GB and is ok...

[Slightly off-topic] About Sandisk, apparently not all of them work. They are reported on this forum as "compatible", but I just tried couple of times to install on a Sandisk cruzer 2GB and E2 just won't boot. The procedure is fine, it worked with an WD USB HDD and a borrowed Kingston DataTraveler.

am instalat utimul RSP - toate bune si frumoase - dar nu il pot conecta la internet. Am modif si MAC placii in boot, KCC vede imediat kathy-ul, doar router-ul meu nu il vede (Huawei de la RTC). In mod flah se conecteaza imediat.

am tot verificat si IP, gateway... dar to degeaba. Nu apare nimic in router.

Are cineva o solutie ?

Daca e "vazut" de KCC, atunci presupun ca e vazut totusi de router - calculatorul si Kathrein sunt legate la acelasi router, nu? Poate e problema de DNS? Intra cu telnet pe Kathrein, da un "ping www.google.com" si vezi daca iti rezolva numele.
