    Pentru cei care au asteptat cu nerabdare kernel2.6(pe care functioneaza toate versiunile cccam) sa functioneze si wireless a aparut o versiune stabila de openwrt backfire
    se poate descarca de aici
    http://downloads.openwrt.org/backfire/10.03/
    brcm-2.4/ -pentru kernel 2.4 openwrt-brcm-2.4-squashfs.trx
    brcm47xx/ -pentru kernel 2.6 openwrt-brcm47xx-squashfs.trx

    testat ambele softuri pe Topex ( Asus wl500 delux ) si merge wireless pe ambele variante in schimb nu am reusit sa configurez 'mount' , scriptul apare pe disable si chiar daca ii dau enable apoi start nu vrea sa porneasca mount , in rest nu sunt mari diferente ca si aspect fata de kamikaze parca procesorul sta un pic mai incarcat si o chestie neplacuta este instalarea Update package unde fiecare pachet se instaleaza individual si nu cum se face la kamikaze unde se selecteaza ce pachete dorim instalate ( durata mai mare de instalare ) .

    am revenit la kamikaze

    @Resofty As aprecia foarte mult.
    Eu unul vreau sa trec de la kamikaze la backfire pe un premium v1 pentru suportul wifi broadcom si cccam sau oscam cu cititor card pe usb si card tvrhd pe kernel 2.6 dar nu s lamurit cum sa fac sa nu il faram.

    deschid maine un topic cu toate cele, un tutorial complet. astazi nu mai am timp, imi place la imaginea asta ca e ok pentru multi care vor sa foloseasca doar pentru router, are firewall cu redirectionari si toate cele din luci , e misto.

    The sock.h file need to be patched is from kernel 2.6.32.10 (current backfire kernel) and maybe because of that all patch i found on google arent working anymore..

    Well i dont know if its error at all but its something that is cccam producing and something that does flood syslog with it. It can be disabled in cccam directly (only in source which we dont have). It can be filtered in syslog but as we use busy box syslogd which cant filter staff we have only third solution and its patching include/net/sock.h file.
    I found on internet that this belove worked with older kernel version. But if i change it in newer sock.h it wont compile.

    Code:
    /* Define this to get the SOCK_DBG debugging facility. */
    //#define SOCK_DEBUGGING
    // !!!Vidma changed:
    #ifdef SOCK_DEBUGGING
    #undef SOCK_DEBUGGING
    #endif

    #ifdef SOCK_DEBUGGING
    #define SOCK_DEBUG(sk, msg...) do { if ((sk) && sock_flag((sk), SOCK_DBG)) \
                        printk(KERN_DEBUG msg); } while (0)
    #else
    #define SOCK_DEBUG(sk, msg...) do { } while (0)
    #endif

    /* This is the per-socket lock. The spinlock provides a synchronization
    And this is how orginal file looks like:
    Code:
    /* Define this to get the SOCK_DBG debugging facility. */ #define SOCK_DEBUGGING
     #ifdef SOCK_DEBUGGING
     #define SOCK_DEBUG(sk, msg...) do { if ((sk) && sock_flag((sk), SOCK_DBG)) \
                                              printk(KERN_DEBUG msg); } while (0)
     #else
     /* Validate arguments and do nothing */
     static void inline int __attribute__ ((format (printf, 2, 3)))
     SOCK_DEBUG(struct sock *sk, const char *msg, ...)
     {
     }
     #endif

      /* This is the per-socket lock. The spinlock provides a synchronization
    Why I am trying to fix/hide/solve this is that you dont see anything else in logread because of that spam. I didnt tryed 2.1.3 and 2.1.4 if they have that debuing stuff still on on not....

    Default PPPoe - RDS pe OPENWRT ??? Cum ?

    Salutare!

    Am un "batran" router Edimax BR6104K pe care vreau sa-l inlocuiesc cu un Topex (Asus WL500GX Deluxe). Pus pe el OpenWRT CCCam 2.1.1 dupa tutorialul lui Resofty (caruia tin sa-i multumesc si sa-i urez multa sanatate si sa mai faca si alte tutoriale gen ala, adica chiar mura-n gura)!

    Ei, toate bune si frumoase pana la schiimbarea conexiunii WAN din static in PPPoe.
    Luat cablul de la RDS bagat in mufa de WAN a lui Topex, am modificat din interfata WEB-Luci la WAN tipul conexiunii WAN PPPoe, am bagat user si pass de la RDS si...atat! Nu merge netul!
    Are o pagina de Status la Interfetele de retea si acolo zice ca ar primi IP de RDS, insa la MAC apare 00:00:00:00:00:00 si nimik la maska.
    Am mai sapat eu pe acolo, am vazut ca se poate adauga MAC la WAN si am bagat MAC acolo, dat reboot, apare MACul tot 00:00...
    MAi era o bifa pe acolo care nu era activata, ceva de genul PPPoe spre PPPd insa nu am stiut despre ce e vorba si nu am mai incercat.
    Apelez la voi, cei care aveti acest router legat direct la RDS prin PPPoe sa ma luminati si pe mine !

    Multam anticipat de ajutor!

    p.s. Acum am vazut un log de conectare la RDS a vechiului meu router Edimax (care tot Linux are pe el) si acolo se face ceva legatura intre PPPoe si PPPd...deci ceva pe acolo ar trebui modificat si pe OpenWRT-Topex!?

    presupun doar care e problema.
    Tu cand scoti cablul din router tu nu te deconectezi corect de la RDS si acolo apari logat ultima oara cu macul respectiv.Ideea de baza e sa dai o deconectare de pe routerul anterior si vei vedea ca se conecteaza si pe noul router.Fara scoatere de la conexiune din senin.

    ...sau sa clonezi mac-ul.O poti face din setarile routerului.

    Default Despre mount in openwrt - pt stargate

    salut.
    aceeasi problema am avut-o si eu cu mount-ul.
    incearca sa pui in LuCI, la Mount points, destinatia de mount:

    /dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/part1 (part1 fiind partitia 1, in cazul in care ai mai multe partitii, pui mai multe entry-uri fiecare terminandu-se cu part2, 3, 4...etc).

    neaparat sa instalezi fs-urile, ext2, ext3, vfat, ntfs,....

    Bafta!

    By the way, alte pareri legate de Backfire (10.03)?? eram interesat de un upgrade de la Kamikaze la BF. se pare ca nu e ceea ce ma asteptam. ms anticipat
