Intel and Nagra sign agreement for new media decoder

'' The U.S. manufacturer of micro-chip Intel has signed an agreement with Nagravision to produce new processors for the multimedia market and the creation of advanced receivers that use Nagra encryption. ///

The agreement provides that the EC will incorporate Intel's new chips in them a technology developed by Nagra call NOCS (Nagravision On-Chip Security) that enables management of encrypted signals. ///

These new chips will help in addition to decoding of various signals encoded the development of new multimedia applications using the power of calculation of the new processor capable of handling two independent signals in high definition. ///

Besides that the new processors will allow the creation of new three-dimensional graphical interface and access to various interactive services with Internet access and shorten the differences between normal decoders and computers.///

The use of encryption Nagra will allow Intel to be able to sell the new chips to manufacturers of various decoders used by 100 million users of the system Nagravision around the world. ///
