@kop ... ceea ce a facut prietenul nostru din Ungaria este sa instaleze Oscam
pe Alligator si cu asta gata ! asta nu rezolva problema ...chiar daca ar face

- Oscam client la N servere CCCam +
- Oscam server catre Alligator ...Aligatorul ar merge prost pentru ca :

* gestiunea sharing pe Alligator este defectuoasa
* Oscamul a introdus un hop suplimentar ceea ce face decodarea si mai dificila

Acest experiment l-am facut acum 6 luni folosind CCcam si am ajuns inca
de atunci la aceste concluzii ! Ceea ce doreste sa faca Zildan este mult mai
evoluat dar necesita un pic de sapatura atit din partea lui cat si a fabricantului
care trebuie sa includa un periferic fictiv mapat pe serial .
Daca cele doua conditii se vor realiza ... va merge Oscam clent pe Alligator.

Poate sa fie si un periferic real!
inautrul reciverului exista un al doilea "com" practic un UART port care poate fi convertit in com!iar un eventual cititor de card sa poata fi atasat si acolo!
pentru restul ideii dezvoltate de amicul maghiar, mount in NFS server mi se pare o treaba fara rost si complicata pentru un user obisnuit.
Ar fi o idee de a rula in nfs pe un router "openwrt" dar tot la fel de complicat pentru newbie.
Problema oscam sta in dvb-api pentru aligator.
Rezolvi asta-rezolvi E2 si oscam!

Cu al doilea COM este mai complicat ! chipsetul are suport pentru doua COM-uri ...dar echipat cu UART este doar primul ! cel de-al doilea are un connector la care se poate atasa o interfata seriala universala folosita ca mijloc de debug in relatia cu bootloaderul. Aici solutia ar fi introducerea unui pseudo COM la care sa se redirectioneze SSSP din partea aplicatiei si a Oscamului.

Hi,

I'm the Hungarian who made the OSCAM Alligator version.

This version does'nt solve lot of problems of the embedded linux (BRUTUS...) BUT solve the poor CCcam client problem.

The main usage of this OSCAM version the protocol translation from CCcam to NewcamD (CCcam server C line to NewcamD client N line).

I use this OSCAM since 4 days and works properly. I haven't any experience about the local card usage because of I haven't any local card. But the protocol transfer works properly so we will be independent from (BRUTUS) CCcam client and its magic & serious problems.

That's all, nothing more.

Well your experience is interesting but unfortunately most of us does not
read hungarian ...so ... to understand exactly what you have in mind
please write in english your read.me file and give us some example of the
oscam.server , oscam.conf and oscam.user you are using !

Practic asta era si ideea-nefiind posesor de aligator nu stiu prea multe detalii de versiuni chipset,etc.
Noi am incercat o comunicare fizica pe acel "com" folosind o interfata uart-com bazata pe max232, autoalimentata.
SSSP teoretic ar trebui sa mearga pe orice com numai cu conditia sa fie definit in aplicatie.
PS:
Nu stiu cum functioneaza alte convertoare rj to rs232 eu am probat linkey si cred ca e cel mai reusit.

@zildan backup nu se instalează un software special primite după lovind-ai dat la lista de canale pentru a ajuta la rezolvarea acestei probleme de modul in care olurmusun

Hi,

I modified the previous version because of I found the "libgcc_s.so.1" on the Alligator (in the "/app" directory) so we don't need anymore to copy another one (the free space on the Alligator file system is very-very slim). We have to create just a softlink (see the point 2. in the new read.me).

I attached the (minimal) necessary config files in connection with the main function (protocol translation from CCcam to NewcamD).

I completed the read.me file with an English section.

First of all tnks fost your contribution ! but ...

The problem we are discussing is to run Oscam as CS client for Alligator !
the ideea is ... Oscam uses SSSP protocol on serial, Alligator FW accepts SSSP on
COM to connect Dongle device ( Linkey - CS converting serial to ethernet ) so if
we sucede to conect Oscam and Alligator via a pseudo COM device ... we will
have Alligator using Oscam as client to CCcam server.
The exercise you've done is ok ! but a N: line conects just one CAID ! but
full CCcam server support on Alligator we allready tested on Alligator with good
results. Using internal link (127.0.0.1) to connect Alligator to his own server give
worse results because introduces an extra hop and uses Alligator CS support
witch is ... horror !
