How to block peers in DD-WRT / WRT54
'' If you want to block peers in your Linux router firewall do this:
This tutorial is for the Linksys WRT-54G / DD-WRT release it could also work for other linux releases:
Login to your WRT54 administration page. This is most likely the same ip as your gateway ip.
Click the tab Administration:
Click the tab Commands:
In command shell type the following (this also works in SuSE/Ubuntu etc):
iptables -I FORWARD -d 11.22.33.44 -j DROP
whereas 11.22.33.44 represents the IP or the dns adres of the host you want to block. The space is limited I have 10 peers listed but I do not know what the maximum amount of firewall rules is here. Also send the peer a PM to tell him he is out of here.
Now if have the list complete click on "Save Firewall" it will save the firewall script and run it also. Now your CCcam will run a little bit better...
If you liked this tutorial say THANKS .
The command used above is also usable with any Linux distribution. Ubuntu / SuSE / Redhat etc etc. You have to have iptables installed.. ''
