'' If you wish to remotely acess your Dreambox over the Internet, you will need to ensure you open up your firewall/router for the ports you need. See the documentation for your firewall/router to do this.
This allows a connection to your Broadband WAN IP, and will automatically forward it to your Dreambox local IP on the proper.
Here is a list of the most common ports you may wish to open. default username/password is root/dreambox.

  • HTTP (Web Interface = WebIf) 80 (Be sure to enable this under Menu/Setup/Expert/Communications, also you can turn authentication off for the WebIF in Menu/Setup/Expert. Enabling this will propmt for the username/password when logging in via http.)
