Doar cei care au urmarit canalele muzicale VIVA si VIVA II stiu ca acestea surclasau MTV atit in Germania , dar si in alte tari europene fiind cele mai cautate canale de specialitate .Mai tarziu alaturi de superbul canal Onyx.Zic pt cine nu stie ca VIVA lansa artisti si le ajuta prin difuzarea videoclipurilor si prin emisiuni de popularizare.Era o amenintare serioasa pt Viacom si MTV de aceea au fost cumparate , tin inca minte de valul de suparare cu ocazia schimbarii totale a VIVA la 180 de grade.Tot asa ceva se va intampla cu DSF care va deveni Sport1.Noroc cu MTV-uri specializate pe anumite genuri care inca fac cate ceva

European HD channels to triple by 2013

'' DVB World 2010 – Lisbon: The number of HD channels is expected to increase threefold by 2013, according to satellite operator SES.
Giving delegates a sneak preview of data to be released next week at a series of European roadshows, Thomas Wrede, VP product management media, SES Astra, said the current 280 channels on Europe’s various satellite systems were expected to increase to around 600 by 2013. The Astra satellites are currently home to 112 HD channels with further additions anticipated over the next few weeks. 20 new channels are expected this year and a further 30 in 2011.
“There is a well known relationship between the number of subscribers and the number of channels and we find this with each pay-TV operator,” said Wrede. However, he pointed out that not all broadcasters are finding it easy to make a living from HD. “If you look at the business models you find it works well for pay-TV operators and the public broadcasters, but for the commercial broadcasters there is an issue, the means of financing the extra costs. This is why in Germany for real free-to-air you only see the public broadcasters. The private channels have had to encrypt and the majority of HD channels on our system come from pay-TV operators”.
Wrede said there had been an increase in the number of receivers capable of displaying HD pictures in 1080p, representing one fifth of the 125 million HD ready receivers purchased in Europe, corresponding to 60% of all European homes. 97% of TV displays sold in Europe are now HD Ready. “Usually forecasts are relatively optimistic, but in terms of HD they have been eventually too pessimistic. Even in 2008 we had already exceeded their forecasts and if you look at the end of the decade it is clear that HD will be mainstream”.
Currently 106 out of the 112 broadcasters available on the Astra satellites broadcast in the 1080i format, though some PSBs are in 720p. “There is not sufficient HD native content, at some times of the day you see 4:4 upconverted, and that’s something I urge broadcasters to change.” Wrede said there were viewer complaints when broadcasters ran at a datarate of less than 12 Mbps. Sindicalistii se plang de disponibilizari mascate, posibila falimentare a societatii si cer oprirea licitatiilor de trecere la televiziunea digitala terestra!
Federatia Sindicatelor Radiocomunicatii, care reprezinta interesele a peste 1.500 de angajati SNR (Radiocom), companie de stat care asigura transmisiile TV si radio pentru Societatea Romana de Televiziune si Societatea Romana de Radiodifuziune, avertizeaza ca se incearca disponibilizarea ilegala a circa 800 de angajati, fapt ce ar putea duce la intreruperi foarte mari de comunicatii. Sindicalistii mai acuza ca prin criteriile din caietele de sarcini pentru primele doua multiplexe de televiziune digitala terestra din tara, SNR este dezavantajata, si ca daca nu se va castiga macar un multiplex societatea va falimenta, fapt pentru care solicita autoritatilor stoparea acordarii acestor licente.
Federatia care reprezinta interesele angajatilor SNR a tinut sa avertizeze marti ca Ordonanta de Urgenta cu programul de modernizare, reorganizare si reducere a cheltuielilor SNR promovata de ministerul Comunicatiilor si adoptata in luna mai din acest an, in care se prevede relocarea a 763 de salariati incalca legislatia.

Din 31.07.2010 alte noi canale HD la Sky Italia...se pare ca se vor tine de promisiunea ca la finele lui 2010 sa aiba 30 canale HD...
Latvia’s consumer Rights Protection Centre (CRPC) has asked Viasat to change some of the terms and conditions of its contracts with customers.
According to AKTR and Kriminal, Viasat has promised to improve these contracts in the near future.
Earlier this year, Viasat removed the Russian channels RBC, Ren Baltija and RTR Planeta from its offer and subscribers found themselves unable to move to other providers without incurring stringent penalties.
Following numerous complaints from customers, the CPRC demanded a report from Viasat.
It then went on to fine the company for providing false information in that report.

Agenţia France-Presse a cerut falimentul Realitatea Media şi NewsIn
Cele două dosare au fost inregistrate de Agenţia France-Presse la Tribunalul Bucureşti pe 30 iulie. Obiectul dosarelor este "procedura insolvenţei".
Unul dintre dosarele de insolvenţă depuse la Tribunalul Bucureşti de France-Presse este indreptat impotriva societăţii Realitatea Media SA, care deţine licenţele audiovizuale pentru posturile de televiziune Realitatea TV, The Money Channel, ActionStar, CineStar, ComedyStar şi pentru posturile de radio Realitatea FM, Radio Guerrilla şi Radio Alpha.
Primul termen de judecată in cazul acestui dosar este 30 mai 2011.

pe sat.us.pn am gasit niste kke referitoare la titlul de mai sus.Merge? Stie cineva? In alta parte aici,
am citit ca e down.
Numai canalele HD sunt down pentru ca nu mai sunt si in I2, restul merg.
