For what is worth, I'm using mgcamd 1_35 on Kathrein and a local cccam 2.0.11 server with oscam on a Linux PC. Been only using it for a week or so, but so far it's a rock solid combination.
I was forced to use cccam 2.0.11 because it is the highest version which still runs on my Linux CentOS (glibc incompatibilities), but it seems it wasn't a bad choice after all, my Kathrein/mgcamd seems to love it :)
Personally, I prefer mgcamd for its ability to also use keys - as long as they still work - and to me it seems a little faster and more stable than incubus. Incubus might have a couple of other more advanced feature, but in my case they were not need. Try them both and see which one suits your case best.

i have linux pc - ubuntu with server cccam 2.1.2
till now with all emus i tried i have this error.
now i try incubus with emuwatch on.
if this is no good, then i will try downgading cccam version to the one you have told.

Cccam 2.1.2 , for incubus 97 is OK.
Snow ( milions of pixels), appears on screen when emu not descrambling.
Emuwatch works only with incubus or mbox.

E o imagine superba. Incubus Informations arata toate liniile UP şi merge perfect... Shi la info arata caidul providerului pe care il deschide ... :tv:

Bun , ca sa numai fiu carcotas atat cum zici Zidane poate ar fii mai bine sa-mi explicii si mie urmatoarele prb. intalnite la ce ai scris tu mai inainte :
1 - merg subtitrarile srt la divx-uri : In primul rand ca nici nu-mi recunoaste fisierele divX facute cu convertorul divx ( de la playerul divX 8 , cu gspot fisierul respectiv este vazut divX5-6 )
2 - Stii cum sa ai diacritice pe subtitrari SRT? -cum activez sau procedez pt. a aveea aceste diacritice , fiindca la rularea fisierelor .avi imi afiseaza subtitrarea fara diacritice si lipsa litere

Despre subtitrarile la DivX vroiam sa mentionez si eu. Comportamentul e la fel ca la MKV-uri: apare lista de subtitrari disponibile, dar indiferent ce aleg nici o subtitrare nu e afisata.
Well, cel putin nu mai da ecran verde.
@mario08: DivX-urile mie imi merg, probabil sunt ceva setari in convertorul folosit de tine pe care E2 nu le recunoaste. Ai vreun "compatibility mode", sau poti activa/deactiva cateva optiuni din convertor, sa vedem care anume da probleme?

Convertorul are ca optiunii : DivX Plus HD , HD1080P , 720P , Home Theater si Mobile

OK, alea sunt niste setari foarte generice. Incearca sa intri in setarile detaliate si vezi optiunile de acolo. De exemplu cand a aparut DivX 5 aveam probleme cu optiunea "packed bitstream" (sau ceva de genul asta), DVD player-ul meu si multe altele nu o suportau, trebuia sa o dezactivez la DivX-urile pe care le cream eu.

Merg diacriticele perfect. Trebuie sa transformati subtitrarea din CP1250 in UTF-8.
Pe linux e simplu:

Mai cautati si alte metode. Sper ca in viitor sa reusesc direct in enigma2 conversia.
Formatele DIVX si XVID recunoscute nu sunt cele "cazuri particulare".
Mie imi merg 95% din divix-urile descarcate de pe net.

In case you need special characters display, you might need to convert the subtitle codepage from CP1250 into UTF-8.
Linux command for this task is simple:

or you could try using the: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
There are for sure other similar solutions, please feel free to post your proposals. In future we hope we will be able to offer this conversion inside Enigma2.

hi to all.
i must say that after few days of testing i still have thiss error - snow.
i am using incubus 97 + emu watch + cccam 212 as server.
and still after some time receiver blocks with snow on screen.
i noticed that this happens mostli on HD channels.
Is there solution for this problem, or this happens to all of you, or i am only one.

Unfortunately you are not the only one facing this annoying situation. The main cause is incubus, EMUwatch is just a workaround that most of the times helps, and is able to switch on radio and back, in order to force emu to restart decoding.
We will stop seeing the snow and forget about receiver blocking only if the incubus or another emu will have a better performance. We are all looking forward and searching for that and hope we will succeed.
If you are in front of your receiver watching the program and see the snow, you might try to zap on other channel and get back. Sometimes this helps too. At least you don't need to power off receiver.

Am testat mai departe legat de subtitrarile la filmele normale ( nu mkv-uri ) si am intalnit 2 probleme :
1 - Problema afisarii ă = Ae ( noptieră = noptierAe ) si probabil ca din cauza aceasta nici la cuvantul : Da = DAe
2 - Am convertit cu ajutorul acelui link subtitrarile .srt din CP1250 in UTF-8 , insa nu toate subtitrarile convertite in UTF-8 mi-le vede ( Epic Movie am convertit subtitrarea originala in UTF-8 si nu este "vazuta" de nici una dintre imaginiile folosite )
Cum pot afla mai multe info legate de tipul subtitrari sau cu ce soft ?
