How to Flash Zgemma H7 Series UHD 4K Linux Enigma2 Receivers
1) Download a latest release version of your chosen (favourite) firmware image directly from the developers website.
2) When the file has downloaded and been saved to your computer unzip it.
You will then have a file named [zgemma]. (Inside that folder you should have another folder named [H7] ).
a) Copy the full folder named [zgemma] to a freshly formatted (FAT32) USB key.
3) Turn off your H7 receiver with the white button at the rear next to power input.
4) Plug in your USB key with the zgemma folder on it (any USB port should be OK).
5) Behind the front flap (door panel) you will see a small button to the top left hand side.
Hold this button down (push in) whilst turning on the rear white power push button.
Keep the front button pushed in and on the front LCD panel you will see the display change from BOOT> USB> FLASH.
When FLASH is displayed you can remove your finger from the from button.
The receiver will now remain displaying FLASH (approx 2minutes) whilst the new firmware is loaded onto your receiver.
6) The box will then restart itself showing BOOT on the front screen. [00>100]
7) You should then see your new firmware installed on the TV screen and the installation wizard will run you through the set-up process.
Special note – If you save your settings to your internal harddisk (HDD), if one is fitted, you will get the option to import your previous settings and bouquets which is a feature that I have not seen/used on previous versions of Zgemma receivers.

Sunt curios ce nu fac bine.
Se poate scrie si din softul e2!

Prin metoda cu stick trebuie sa apesi butonul de sub capacul C.I. card, Hold this button down (push in) whilst turning on the rear white power push button.
De obicei acest receptor stie 4 imagini in multiboot, dar momentan lucrez cu doua imagini de 1.52Gb si pot instala mai multe plugins.

Da am reusit de mai multe ori, am formatat stick-ul in fat32 is am dezarhivat imaginea pe stik.
La dezarhivare trebuie sa creeze un director zgemma si in directorul creat un subdirector numit h7 deci de forma /zhemma/h7 in subdirector va avea in general 4 fisiere obligatoriu:
disk.img rootfs.tar.bz2 si kernel.bin, mai contine si imageversion.
Aceasta metoda se foloseste in general cind nu mai booteaza sau la inceput pentru a crea cele 4 partitii cu imagini diferite sau doua...
Imi aduce aminte de metoda de instalare de pe vremea lui Kathy UFS910 , ce receptor.......
Si acum mai am stick-ul pe care instalam imaginiile cu BA , un Cruzer de 4Gb cu viteze mari la acea vreme ( aproape 12 ani )
Intreb si io , asa intr-o doara ... ai schimbat "noforce" in "force"
in folderul H7 ???
Aparatul poate avea 4 imagini in flash, momentan le scriu din E2.

How to install an Image to Multiboot:
Download your Image for install on multiboot.
IMPORTANT Don´t unzip the .zip File
Then shift it to the USB Drive
Plug the USB Device in the HD51.
Step 1: Press the blue key on the remote, then press the right key and go to Flash Online
Step 2: Now press the yellow button, now below might stand STARTUP_2 (it gives Startup 2,3. 4).
Step 3: Press the blue key and now the yellow key then go to your USB Device
Step 4: Go to the .zip and press the green button on the remote.
Step 5: Now the Ax is flashing the Image
How to use Multiboot:
Step 1: Press MENU on your remote and go to Standby/Restart then go to Multiboot and press OK
Step 2: Now you can select your image with the right/left key and start with the OK key

M-am lamurit!
Prin procedura stick USB, apasat buton din fatza, apoi power ON se instaleaza doar imaginile primare.
Mai exact prima imagine din cele 4 posibile se scrie asa, dar face curat in flash,
Imaginile primare scrise cu stickul sunt dezarhivate, 5 fisiere in directorul /zgemma/h7/ :

La OpenPli e clara situatia, exista la orice buid o imagine multiboot, si una de update USB !!!!!
La OpenATV altii exista doar imagine USB care se scrie multiboot.
