at first,thanks for your great work !
but i need a little help.
my pingulux reboots instantly.
green error screen.i think, main reason is the wrong output.
on the error screen "component:enigma2" ist listed.
when and how can i change it to hdmi-output in the boot process ?

Reformats stick, copy the e2 on it, and reflash firmware !
i did it,flashing ain´t the problem but when the box rebbots it shows 720,then the rsp-alien bootlogo appears,after a while it changes to 576, then it changes to a picture that looks like black stairs on green ground,and then,the picture changes to the error screen with the text-listing,
"we are sorry but your box encountered a software prob..............".
then the box reboots after 10 seconds.
flashing of beta 03 (same usb-stick) causes no probs.
any tips ?
Seems to be a flash error, beta5 is larger than beta3.
Try to write with TFTP.
I have an USB HDD connected to the ALIEN and it works OK...
QUESTION : how can i access this HDD trough LAN from PC ??? (for reading and saving files...). Is there some SAMBA plugin for this E2 ???

i´ve tested tftp now ,after flashing,(tested it 2 times), same result as with usb stick:

(i´ve connected a fat32 formatted hd but there where no logfile,10 sec. are to tight for recognizing/downwriting the whole text).

beta 05 Nothing include timeshift?
Im mount cifs hdd and record good work.

Am instalat noul e2beta5,am avut aceleasi probleme la pornire ca si la beta4,am instalat satelitii si programele apoi am trecut inapoi la spark ,nu am mai reusit sa mai intru dupa aceea in e2,pur si simplu se restarteaza la 10 secunde.
Cred ca trebuie sa faci o procedura de rescriere totala firmware cu imagine rescue.
Cauta ca a descris MihaiP procedura.
