Media center (only) ba image? Is it possible

This question is basically to zildan but if anyone else has the expertise you re welcome to answer. Can you make an image that has no satttelite options and it just starts up in media center mode ? If this could be made in ba form , i think it would be revolutionary cause some of us sometimes use the kathy just to watch a movie over network or from hdd. Maybe it would also be faster since there would be less things to load and more free ram.
One other thing , i use both rsp 2.01 and 2.02 versions and for me 2.01 always works better , especially when playing mkv from network. The other images (including aaf and pkt) either lose sync or i get interruptions of dolby digital and dts sound. I connect my kathy through hdmi to my philips tv and from the tv i use coaxial spdif out to audio video receiver . In 2.01 image the sound is always 5.1 and in sync (only problem is i cant pause because than it either crashes or loses sync) .
