Brief instructions for installing new firmware


Brief guide to installing new Firmware.
1) First, download the desired firmware from the Enigma2 team.

You will download a ZIP file
2) Please unzip this file via WINZIP or WINRAR.
Choose UNPACKED to avoid other intermediate steps.
If you successfully unzip the file, you will receive a folder

3) Please enter this (complete) folder in the main directory of your USB storage device

Please note that your FAT32 USB stick must be formatted absolutely; no longer
Folders / files must be located.
4) Please insert the USB stick into the USB port of your HITUBE (better on USB3.0)
5) Connect the power cord and press on the remote control next time
green colored button on the HITUBE remote control.
6) The display shows UPDTE
7) If your USB stick was successfully detected, it should start blinking. Please please
Do not disconnect power and wait until your HITUBE resets.
If the UPDATE process does not start, try another USB stick.
If there are no major version/update changes, you can easily transfer your HITUBE
Update the Software Management menu.
