problems with e2 on alien... Help please

Hi, I have an amiko alien receiver and ı use e2 on it but; 1-) I try many times, but cant install any e2 plugin by using this way; I copy the .ipk file to the /tmp directory and write this command " ipkg install *.ipk " on tellnet when its in /tmp directory... There is an error message and cant install... 2-) which is the latest and the best e2 software for amiko alien with less problems? Now, I use "27.07.2011- AR- Projekt" Is it a good image for alien? Thank you for replys... ( Sorry for my poor english... )

what error you have ? the text please ... does ipkg command starts ?
or the message says .. there is no ipkg command on this system !

when ı write the ipkg install command
there is the error message; " -sh: ipkg: not found "

what is the meaning of this error message?

what can I try for solving this problem and installing new plugins?

Is there any solution for installing plugins without using telnet or putty?

Help please...
