OBS! SOLVED Solution at the bottom.
I tryed this down below and almost everything went OK exept for one thing.....as usual.
I installed E2 on sda2 who is an ext2 and it works fine (just my mbox that freezes) but my sda4 who is vfat and was intended for my recordings, not so good. I named everything after the guide on page 1.
On sda4 i created mapps movie, video, pictures and music and copy some stuff in to them. Now when i boot into my E2 and go to mediaplayer or dvdplayer it cant find my movie, video and so on.
In mediaplayer i see 6 mapps, sda, sda1, sda2, sda3, sda4, internal flash. The only map i can browse is internal flash, if i click on the others nothing happens.
It all looks fine when i boot to flash and use KCC to look at "expert", the partitions are all there.

So hier stelle ich mal die aktualisierte Anleitung rein wie man nur mit der externen Festplatte sowohl BA-Images als auch 2 verschiedene Enigma2-Versionen direkt von der Festplatte booten kann. Gleichzeitig ist die Festplatte weiterhin auch noch Aufnahmemedium damit man mit der Kathi erstellte Aufnahmen problemlos auf jeden Windoof-PC uberspielen kann.
Vorraussetzungen:
Im Flash der Kathi eine Software mit Second Bootloader, entweder die All in One Original 1.06 oder die All in One AAF2.0d je nach Boxtyp 1W oder 14W-Version oder das All in One-Paket 2.0 AAF 2.0e (zu finden in der Database hier im Board)

Eine ext. USB 2.0 Festplatte die von der Kathi akzeptiert wird
Sollte bereits der 2nd Bootlader in KCC aktiviert sein, diesen vorher vorsichtshalber erst mal deaktivieren
Kathi und PC per Crossoverkabel miteinander verbunden
Vorbereitungen:
die Festplatte direkt mit der Kathi im Menue/Service-Menue/USB Geräte-Management komplett FAT32 formatieren. Vorhandene Aufnahmen vorher naturlich auf den PC oder mit der Kathi direkt auf eine 2.Festplatte kopieren, da alle Daten der Festplatte geloscht werden!
Nun schliessen wir die Festplatte an den PC an und fuhren unter Systemsteuerung/Verwaltung/Computerverwaltung die Datenträgerverwaltung aus.
Im rechten Feld sollte nun eure ext. Festplatte als einzige Partition aufgefuhrt sein.
Klickt nun mit der Maus auf die Partition und dann mit der rechten Maustaste klicken und im Menue Partition loschen auswählen.
Danach wieder mit rechter Maustaste im Menue neue Partition erstellen. Es erscheint ein weiteres Menue in dem der Laufwerk-Buchstabe und die Gesamtkapazität der Festplatte vorgeschlagen ist. Hier erstellt Ihr eine neue Primäre Partition und gebt dabei als Große ca. 500 MB ein. Im nächsten Menue Partition FAT32 formatieren auswählen und als Label XBA eingeben. Nun wieder im rechten Fenster auf den verbleibenden Partitionsteil mit rechter Maustaste klicken und eine weitere primäre Partition mit ca. 500 MB erstellen. Es wird wieder ein Laufwerkbuchstabe vorgeschlagen den wir beibehalten. Im nächsten Menue wählt dann wieder formatieren mit FAT32 aus und gebt als Volumebezeichnung Enigma1 ein und formatiert die neue Partition. Das gleiche machen wir dann nochmals und benennen die 3.Partition Enigma2. Mit der restlichen verfugbaren Kapazität (wichtig bitte keine unpartitionierten Bereiche frei lassen) erstellen wir uns nun die 4.Partition als Aufnahme-Volume. Wieder den vorgeschlagenen Laufwerkbuchstabe ubernehmen und dann jedoch, da bei grosseren Festplatten nur NTFS vorgeschlagen wird, Partition nicht formatieren angeben.
Nun konnt Ihr die Datenträgerverwaltung verlassen und jetzt muss die großte bisher noch nicht formatierte Partition auch noch mit FAT32 formatiert werden. Dies fuhrt Ihr unter Start/Ausfuhren/cmd direkt in der Windows-Kommandozeile aus. Je nachdem wo Ihr das Programm fat32format auf eurem PC liegen habt mit cd .. in das entsprechende Verzeichnis wechseln und dann fat32format X: eingeben (X=LW-Buchstabe eurer Aufnahmepartition). Die erfolgreiche Formatierung wird angezeigt und nun ist eure Festplatte aufgeteilt auf 4 primäre FAT32 formatierte Partitionen, die nun am PC unter Arbeitsplatz als 4 lokale Datenträger angezeigt werden. Mit der rechten Maustaste klickt nun auf das noch unbenannte Laufwerk und benennt dies mit Aufnahme (wichtig damit die Partition als erste verfugbare Aufnahmequelle angezeigt wird, da die Kathrein-Software die Devices alphabetisch sortiert). Dann erstellt im Rootverzeichnis dieses Laufwerkes gleich auch noch die 3 Ordner mit der Bezeichnung movie + music + picture (fur Enigma2) und kopiert euch zum Testen in Enigma2 vom PC mal in die entsprechenden Ordner ein paar MP3's, JPG's und dergleichen.
Nun startet Ihr die Kathi aus dem Flash (ohne angesteckten BA-Stick) und hängt eure Festplatte an einen der hinteren USB-Anschlusse. Dann KCC starten, falls noch nicht geschehen in Einstellungen/FTP-Server installieren ausfuhren und danach unbedingt auch mal in Einstellungen Verbindungstest durchfuhren. Wenn die Netzwerkeinstellungen richtig sind sollte dann hier Pingtest, Telnet, FTPConnect und FTPLogin alles ok. erscheinen.
Nun geht Ihr in KCC/Experten und es sollte dann eure Festplatte als
dev/sda

Nach dem Booten wieder KCC starten und dann sollte in KCC-Experten die Partitionierung angezeigt werden wie auf Bild1 im Dateianhang. (Hinweis: der Screenshot wurde von mir nach der BA-Installation gemacht, deshalb wird bereits im Bild bei dev/sda1 Filesystem ext2 angezeigt. Vor der BA-Installation steht bei dev/sda1 naturlich noch Filesystem vfat)
So das waren die Schritte zur Vorbereitung der Festplatte und nun geht es fast genauso wie es mit einem USB-Stick funktioniert an's Installieren von BA / Bootmenue / BA-Images und Enigma2 direkt auf die Festplatte.
Dazu in KCC/Barry Allen gehen, es erscheint nur die Auswahlmoglichkeit BA installieren, da die Kathi ja aus dem Flash gestartet ist.
Klickt nun auf BA installieren und im Menue wählt aus BA uber Netzwerk installieren (Wichtig: Stick in mehrere Partitionen aufteilen darf naturlich nun nicht markiert sein). Nun wird BA uber das Netzwerk auf die Festplatte in die Partition XBA(1-1) und auch auf die Kathi installiert. Nun empfehle ich die Kathi erneut aus dem Flash zu booten und erst danach das Bootmenue installieren (fuhrt ansonsten manchmal zu einer KCC-Fehlermeldung).
Nun konnt Ihr ganz normal per KCC eure BA-Images in XBA (1-1) installieren und wieder einrichten. (z.B. per Download vom Server oder aus bereits auf dem PC vorhandenen Image.tar.gz)
Fur die Installation von bis zu 2 Enigma-Versionen sind die 2. und 3. Partition der Festplatte vorgesehen. Geht nun in KCC auf "Image in Partition installieren" und wählt dann z.B. aus dem AllinOne-Paket 1.0 die e2_Build_210_AAF_MOD_1.0 oder aus dem AllinOne-Paket 2.0 die tdt_rev_254_aaf_mod_2.0 oder die neueste tdt_rev_356_aaf_mod_3.0 aus und im nachfolgenden Fenster nun unbedingt Partition sda2 oder sda3 auswählen / Gateway und Server-IP gleich richtig angeben und dann Enigma installieren lassen.
So dann sind wir ja fast schon fertig, nur eines fehlt noch, nämlich unbedingt nun noch vor dem ersten Start von Festplatte den 2nd Bootloader per KCC aktivieren. In KCC Barry Allen sollte es dann ähnlich wie auf Bild2 und in KCC Systeminfo ähnlich wie auf Bild3 aussehen.
Nun konnt Ihr eure Kathi neu starten und per Bootmenue sowohl die BA-Images als auch Enigma2 direkt von der Festplatte booten. Funktioniert bei mir mit allen 3 getesteten externen Festplatten einwandfrei. Enigma wird wesentlich schneller und stabiler als vom USB-Stick gebootet.
Auch die Aufnahmefunktion geht sowohl im BA-Image als auch unter Enigma2 (Festplatte wurde sofort erkannt) und seither funktionieren auch EPG-Aufnahmen und anschliessendes Herunterfahren der Kathi in den StandBy bei mir ohne Probleme.
Hinweis: mit WindoofVista lassen sich in der Computerverwaltung leider nur 3 primäre Partitionen erstellen. Ich hab mal gegoogelt und den kostenlosen EASEUS Partition Manager Home Edition im Web gefunden. Damit kann man auch unter WindoofVista 4 primäre Partitionen erstellen. Hier (http://www.partition-tool.com/download.htm) der Link zum Download. Mit der Professional Edition (gibt’s allerdings nur als Demo) lassen sich ganz einfach sogar auch bereits vorhandene Partitionen der Festplatte ohne Datenverlust umändern. Der Partitions-Manager unterstutzt laut Herstellerangabe Festplatten bis 800 GB Grosse.
Ich mache allerdings darauf aufmerksam, dass man vor Verwendung eines Partitionierungs-Programmes immer die vorhandenen Daten sichern sollte. Etwas Vorsicht ist bei Verwendung von solchen Programmen immer besser als Datenverlust. Es wird von mir daher keinerlei Verantwortung ubernommen falls Ihr euch irgendwelche Daten oder eure HDD zerstort. Jeder macht das auf sein eigenes Risiko !!!
Weiterhin bitte ich von Fragen zu diesem Partitionierungs-Tool hier im Board abzusehen. Wer nicht weiss was man damit macht sollte unbedingt die Finger davon lassen und lieber die vorstehende DAU-Anleitung benutzen !!!
So dann wunsche ich euch viel Spass beim Ausprobieren und freue mich weiterhin auf eure Feedbacks. Das leidige Thema welcher Stick funktioniert oder funktioniert nicht sollte damit der Vergangenheit angehoren. I tested with all 3 external hard drives correctly. Enigma is much faster and more stable than from the USB stick booted.
Also, the recording is used in the BA-image as well as Enigma2 (hard drive was immediately detected) and has been functioning well
EPG recordings and subsequent shutdown of Kathi in standby for me without any problems.
Note: with WindoofVista can be found in the Computer Management unfortunately only 3 primary partitions. Ich hab mal gegoogelt and
free EaseUs Partition Manager Home Edition "found on the Web. This can also WindoofVista 4 primary partitions.

The hard disk partitions without losing data to change. The Partition Manager supports according to the manufacturer to 800 GB of hard disk size.

So hier stelle ich mal die aktualisierte Anleitung rein wie man nur mit der externen Festplatte sowohl BA-Images als auch 2 verschiedene Enigma2-Versionen direkt von der Festplatte booten kann. Gleichzeitig ist die Festplatte weiterhin auch noch Aufnahmemedium damit man mit der Kathi erstellte Aufnahmen problemlos auf jeden Windoof-PC uberspielen kann.
Vorraussetzungen:
Im Flash der Kathi eine Software mit Second Bootloader, entweder die All in One Original 1.06 oder die All in One AAF2.0d je nach Boxtyp 1W oder 14W-Version oder das All in One-Paket 2.0 AAF 2.0e (zu finden in der Database hier im Board)
Hilfsprogramm zum formatieren von Festplatten >32GB in FAT32 findet Ihr hier (http://www.aaf-board.com/wbb2/thread.php?threadid=7473&hilight=fat32format) im Board.
Auf dem PC installierte KCC 2.0b oder die neueste 2.1 Version (im entsprechenden All in One Paket enthalten)
Netzwerkeinstellungen in der 1.06 / 2.0d oder 2.0e sowie in KCC gemacht (siehe auch AAF HowTo's)
FTP-Server mit KCC in die 1.06 / 2.0d oder 2.0e installiert
Eine ext. USB 2.0 Festplatte die von der Kathi akzeptiert wird
Sollte bereits der 2nd Bootlader in KCC aktiviert sein, diesen vorher vorsichtshalber erst mal deaktivieren
Kathi und PC per Crossoverkabel miteinander verbunden
Vorbereitungen:
die Festplatte direkt mit der Kathi im Menue/Service-Menue/USB Geräte-Management komplett FAT32 formatieren. Vorhandene Aufnahmen vorher naturlich auf den PC oder mit der Kathi direkt auf eine 2.Festplatte kopieren, da alle Daten der Festplatte geloscht werden!
Nun schliessen wir die Festplatte an den PC an und fuhren unter Systemsteuerung/Verwaltung/Computerverwaltung die Datenträgerverwaltung aus.
Im rechten Feld sollte nun eure ext. Festplatte als einzige Partition aufgefuhrt sein.
Klickt nun mit der Maus auf die Partition und dann mit der rechten Maustaste klicken und im Menue Partition loschen auswählen.
Danach wieder mit rechter Maustaste im Menue neue Partition erstellen. Es erscheint ein weiteres Menue in dem der Laufwerk-Buchstabe und die Gesamtkapazität der Festplatte vorgeschlagen ist. Hier erstellt Ihr eine neue Primäre Partition und gebt dabei als Große ca. 500 MB ein. Im nächsten Menue Partition FAT32 formatieren auswählen und als Label XBA eingeben. Nun wieder im rechten Fenster auf den verbleibenden Partitionsteil mit rechter Maustaste klicken und eine weitere primäre Partition mit ca. 500 MB erstellen. Es wird wieder ein Laufwerkbuchstabe vorgeschlagen den wir beibehalten. Im nächsten Menue wählt dann wieder formatieren mit FAT32 aus und gebt als Volumebezeichnung Enigma1 ein und formatiert die neue Partition. Das gleiche machen wir dann nochmals und benennen die 3.Partition Enigma2. Mit der restlichen verfugbaren Kapazität (wichtig bitte keine unpartitionierten Bereiche frei lassen) erstellen wir uns nun die 4.Partition als Aufnahme-Volume. Wieder den vorgeschlagenen Laufwerkbuchstabe ubernehmen und dann jedoch, da bei grosseren Festplatten nur NTFS vorgeschlagen wird, Partition nicht formatieren angeben.
Nun konnt Ihr die Datenträgerverwaltung verlassen und jetzt muss die großte bisher noch nicht formatierte Partition auch noch mit FAT32 formatiert werden. Dies fuhrt Ihr unter Start/Ausfuhren/cmd direkt in der Windows-Kommandozeile aus. Je nachdem wo Ihr das Programm fat32format auf eurem PC liegen habt mit cd .. in das entsprechende Verzeichnis wechseln und dann fat32format X: eingeben (X=LW-Buchstabe eurer Aufnahmepartition). Die erfolgreiche Formatierung wird angezeigt und nun ist eure Festplatte aufgeteilt auf 4 primäre FAT32 formatierte Partitionen, die nun am PC unter Arbeitsplatz als 4 lokale Datenträger angezeigt werden. Mit der rechten Maustaste klickt nun auf das noch unbenannte Laufwerk und benennt dies mit Aufnahme (wichtig damit die Partition als erste verfugbare Aufnahmequelle angezeigt wird, da die Kathrein-Software die Devices alphabetisch sortiert). Dann erstellt im Rootverzeichnis dieses Laufwerkes gleich auch noch die 3 Ordner mit der Bezeichnung movie + music + picture (fur Enigma2) und kopiert euch zum Testen in Enigma2 vom PC mal in die entsprechenden Ordner ein paar MP3's, JPG's und dergleichen.
Nun startet Ihr die Kathi aus dem Flash (ohne angesteckten BA-Stick) und hängt eure Festplatte an einen der hinteren USB-Anschlusse. Dann KCC starten, falls noch nicht geschehen in Einstellungen/FTP-Server installieren ausfuhren und danach unbedingt auch mal in Einstellungen Verbindungstest durchfuhren. Wenn die Netzwerkeinstellungen richtig sind sollte dann hier Pingtest, Telnet, FTPConnect und FTPLogin alles ok. erscheinen.
Nun geht Ihr in KCC/Experten und es sollte dann eure Festplatte als
dev/sda
dev/sda1 tmp/usb/XBA (1-1)
dev/sda2 tmp/usb/Enigma1 (1-2)
dev/sda3 tmp/usb/Enigma2 (1-3)
dev/sda4 tmp/usb/Aufnahme (1-4) angezeigt werden.
nun mit der Maus dev/sda2 markieren, rechte Maustaste und im Menue EXT2 Filesystem erstellen auswählen. Als Volume-Bezeichnung wieder Enigma1 eingeben und den Hinweis alle Daten werden geloscht mit ok. Bestätigen. Den gleichen Schritt wiederholt dann mit der Partition dev/sda3 und gebt als Volume-Bezeichnung Enigma2 ein. Da die beiden Partitionen dabei ungemountet werden, beenden wir nun erst mal KCC und booten die Kathi neu aus dem Flash. Nach dem Booten wieder KCC starten und dann sollte in KCC-Experten die Partitionierung angezeigt werden wie auf Bild1 im Dateianhang. (Hinweis: der Screenshot wurde von mir nach der BA-Installation gemacht, deshalb wird bereits im Bild bei dev/sda1 Filesystem ext2 angezeigt. Vor der BA-Installation steht bei dev/sda1 naturlich noch Filesystem vfat)
So das waren die Schritte zur Vorbereitung der Festplatte und nun geht es fast genauso wie es mit einem USB-Stick funktioniert an's Installieren von BA / Bootmenue / BA-Images und Enigma2 direkt auf die Festplatte.
Dazu in KCC/Barry Allen gehen, es erscheint nur die Auswahlmoglichkeit BA installieren, da die Kathi ja aus dem Flash gestartet ist.
Klickt nun auf BA installieren und im Menue wählt aus BA uber Netzwerk installieren (Wichtig: Stick in mehrere Partitionen aufteilen darf naturlich nun nicht markiert sein). Nun wird BA uber das Netzwerk auf die Festplatte in die Partition XBA(1-1) und auch auf die Kathi installiert. Nun empfehle ich die Kathi erneut aus dem Flash zu booten und erst danach das Bootmenue installieren (fuhrt ansonsten manchmal zu einer KCC-Fehlermeldung).
Nun konnt Ihr ganz normal per KCC eure BA-Images in XBA (1-1) installieren und wieder einrichten. (z.B. per Download vom Server oder aus bereits auf dem PC vorhandenen Image.tar.gz)
Fur die Installation von bis zu 2 Enigma-Versionen sind die 2. und 3. Partition der Festplatte vorgesehen. Geht nun in KCC auf "Image in Partition installieren" und wählt dann z.B. aus dem AllinOne-Paket 1.0 die e2_Build_210_AAF_MOD_1.0 oder aus dem AllinOne-Paket 2.0 die tdt_rev_254_aaf_mod_2.0 oder die neueste tdt_rev_356_aaf_mod_3.0 aus und im nachfolgenden Fenster nun unbedingt Partition sda2 oder sda3 auswählen / Gateway und Server-IP gleich richtig angeben und dann Enigma installieren lassen.
So dann sind wir ja fast schon fertig, nur eines fehlt noch, nämlich unbedingt nun noch vor dem ersten Start von Festplatte den 2nd Bootloader per KCC aktivieren. In KCC Barry Allen sollte es dann ähnlich wie auf Bild2 und in KCC Systeminfo ähnlich wie auf Bild3 aussehen.
Nun konnt Ihr eure Kathi neu starten und per Bootmenue sowohl die BA-Images als auch Enigma2 direkt von der Festplatte booten. Funktioniert bei mir mit allen 3 getesteten externen Festplatten einwandfrei. Enigma wird wesentlich schneller und stabiler als vom USB-Stick gebootet.
Auch die Aufnahmefunktion geht sowohl im BA-Image als auch unter Enigma2 (Festplatte wurde sofort erkannt) und seither funktionieren auch EPG-Aufnahmen und anschliessendes Herunterfahren der Kathi in den StandBy bei mir ohne Probleme.
Hinweis: mit WindoofVista lassen sich in der Computerverwaltung leider nur 3 primäre Partitionen erstellen. Ich hab mal gegoogelt und den kostenlosen EASEUS Partition Manager Home Edition im Web gefunden. Damit kann man auch unter WindoofVista 4 primäre Partitionen erstellen. Hier (http://www.partition-tool.com/download.htm) der Link zum Download. Mit der Professional Edition (gibt’s allerdings nur als Demo) lassen sich ganz einfach sogar auch bereits vorhandene Partitionen der Festplatte ohne Datenverlust umändern. Der Partitions-Manager unterstutzt laut Herstellerangabe Festplatten bis 800 GB Grosse.
Ich mache allerdings darauf aufmerksam, dass man vor Verwendung eines Partitionierungs-Programmes immer die vorhandenen Daten sichern sollte. Etwas Vorsicht ist bei Verwendung von solchen Programmen immer besser als Datenverlust. Es wird von mir daher keinerlei Verantwortung ubernommen falls Ihr euch irgendwelche Daten oder eure HDD zerstort. Jeder macht das auf sein eigenes Risiko !!!
Weiterhin bitte ich von Fragen zu diesem Partitionierungs-Tool hier im Board abzusehen. Wer nicht weiss was man damit macht sollte unbedingt die Finger davon lassen und lieber die vorstehende DAU-Anleitung benutzen !!!
So dann wunsche ich euch viel Spass beim Ausprobieren und freue mich weiterhin auf eure Feedbacks. Das leidige Thema welcher Stick funktioniert oder funktioniert nicht sollte damit der Vergangenheit angehoren. Dies sollte mit jeder externen 2.0-USB-Festplatte die von der Kathi erkannt wird funktionieren. Eine Garantie kann ich euch aber dafur nicht geben !

This is the solution for my problem, found on this forum in another thred.
I have a hdd 500 GB with partition :
sda1 fat32
sda2 with label XBA -BA
sda3 with label XSYS2 - enigma2
sda4 with label XSYS3 - for fatload
If i want to see fat32 partition , in telent, do this command :
mount /dev/sda1 /media/hdd
after this with file manager i can see fat32 partition.
