Eu cred ca o sa fie un bun receptor....si daca ruleze si mbox atunci o sa face si el concurenta la dm800 si dm8000....In general vremuri nu o sa fie atit de bune pt DM....Sper ca Dm8000 sa corecteze pe greseli lui Dm800,diferit o sa fie naspa pt DM...

Poate cineva sa imi spuna dimensiunile exacte a Azbox Elite?
Am gasit mai multe valori in descrierea prodului (mai multe magazin online) si acum sunt confuz.
Ma intereseaza mai mult latura din fata, cat e de lat. Am gasit valori de 300, 320 si 340.
Ma intereseaza ca am spatiu redus in mobila mea, unde le am pe celellate (~300 mm).

Se pare ca s-a inceput treaba pt Enigma pe AzBox. Chiar mai mult, portarea DVB-API pe Azbox, pt a putea suporta mai multe imagini (Neutrino, Enigma...)

Tocmai am cumparat si eu un Azbox elite.
Dupa un quick check, pot spune ca sunt f dezamagit cu calitate tunerului.
La fiecare canal (FTA doar in prima faza) imi apar macroblocuri la greu.
Am antena fixata de anii de zile si nu am avut probleme niciodata cu nici-un receiver (receiver Dolce, DM 500, DM 5620, si alte receiver FTA).
Initial am crezut ca poate e ceva din firmware, si am facut update si la 0.9.1314 si tot asa.
Acum mai exista speranta sa fie ceva din configurare (cu toate ca nu prea cred) sau sa fie tunerul defect.
Stie cumva cineva, cum sta AzBox Elite HD la tuner? Ca incep sa am indoieli mari privind calitatea.
Pana am ajuns sa il cumpar, am citit mult despre el, si am aflat ca este doar laudat, datorita hardware-ului. Nici nu stiu ce sa fac, dar cred ca il trimit inapoi, si uit de brand-ul asta.

Are mare probleme la software....este in faza de bebelus!Daca ai folosit putin pe menu o sa vezi citi greu se misca.Acuma am inteles ca lucreaza la o versiuna de Enigma.Nu pot sa spun daca o sa fie public dupa o luna sau dupa un an!Inca am inteles ca o sa exista versiuna CCCAM nu incubus pt model asta,deja exista ca alegere la emu si cuvint CCCAM.Parerea mea e ca e in faza in care a fost ipbox la mai-iunie.Sper pina la vara sa fie mai bine lucrat software,dar totusi vad ca se misca destul de greu.

Asta am tot citit, si am acceptat. Dar faza cu macroblocuri, nu stiu ce sa spun. Banuiesc ca nu poate fi din software. Daca asa sunt toate, e un dezastru total, nu stiu de ce le-au scos pe piata, nu se poate folosi nici macar pe FTA!!!!

Nu vreau sa te supar dar cred ca e tot din software.Face multe lucruri asta receptor, are ok hardware dar nu sunt activate la software toate posibilitati care are.Special povestea cu slot e dezastru...ba merge ba nu merge.Din ce am inteles @mower (ca sa nu dau numai stiri pt ipbox :))a fixat pe drivers pt slot lui azbox.Si la urmatoare versiuna sloturi o sa merge direct la mbox...Acuma face multe test ca sa vede cum se comporta.Nu stiu ce sa spun daca software se evolueze repede sau mai incet,dar multe lumea special din polonia unde a iesit intii receptor se plinge rau de tot cu asta receptor ca nu are un support de la firma.Dar asta e obiectiv si la ipbox se plinge ca nu are bun support si DGS scoate cel putin 1-2 firmware pe luna.singura solutia e sa astepti cel putin 3-4 luni si sa vezi cum sta treaba.

Merci de raspuns, dar totusi, daca ar fi fost din software ar fi o problema de care s-ar fi lovit si altii, si ar fi fost stiuta pana acum. Dar am tot cautat, si nimeni nu s-a mai plans.
Deci ramane doar varianta sa fie la mine, un defect in tuner. Am gasit ceva, la dm 800, ar fi ceva asemanator, cu tunere defecte sau supraincalzite.
Al meu in primele 5 minute de functionare a facut asta. Tare ciudat.

Am incercat si alte pozitii, si culmea merge!!!
Singura explicatie la care vin acum, e ori e slabutz tunerul (mai slab ca orice alt receiver am testat). Am semnal 80% si calitate cam 70%.

Deoarece folosesc multefeed, am poziti mai extreme care au semnal mai slabutz, dar cum spuneam nu am pb cu alte receivere.

Interesant e ca si cu alte pozitii, cu semnal tot mai slabutz, totusi merge, atunci am ajuns la concluzia, ca poate sa nu se "impace" cu lnb-ul respectiv.
La setari lnb are universal si am mentinut valoarea, ca la toate celelalte lnb=uri si receivere. Poate la AzBox "universal" inseamna altceva.:)
Nici nu mai stiu ce lnb este, este un quad mai ieftin. Am sa incerc sa pun un alt LNB in aceasi pozitie, si sa incerc sa obtin acelasi nivel de semnal, sa vedem cum reactioneaza.

- emulatoare - merg fara probleme atat mbox v023 cat si incubus ;
- imaginea in HD - buna ; SD - mediocra ;
- streaming retea : OK
- poze , filme format HD sau SD , etc : OK ;
- HDD interne sau externe - mici probleme : nu a mers intern HDD Maxtor sata 200Gb , a mers WD si Seagate ; externe OK ; NTFS sau FAT32 - OK ;

Pai am configurat din ce am stiut/crezut

mai precis:
Boxkey = valoare hexa receiver dolce

mhz = frecventa la 357 (am incercat mai multe valori intre 357 si 500)

rsa = comentat, nu se aplica la NDS

Ar mai fi ceva de configurat?

Am mai citit undeva ca la NDS trebuie folosit Boxid in loc de Boxkey am incercat ambele, si acelasi lucru.

Mai trebuie creat un fisier newcamd.list in folderul mgcamd cu urmatoarea config. :

Eu as vrea un premium sa nu stau cu "matzele" pe afara pentru hdd .

Deocamdata nu am TVHD ...dar ma gandeam sa investesc in unul la sfarsitul anului si pana atunci sa iau receiverul si sa il folosesc si ca mediaplayer pe televizorul vechi .
Mai am un DM7020 dupa care rulez filmele inregistrate de pe satelit si ma gandesc sa iau azbox-ul in sufragerie si sa pun dm7020-ul in dormitor la copii.
--sper ca tunerul sa nu aiba probleme si sa fie doar un defect al celui achizitionat de @M-MAN (sorry).

Problema cu tunerul s-a dovedit ca fiind pana la urma in software. Erau freeze-uri pe TP=urile de pe hellas cu sr 30000. Ghinionul a fost sa incerc prima data acolo :). cu ultima imagine, problema e rezolvata.

Inainte sa achizitionez am avut aceasi dilema, care?
Dar dupa ceva timp de citit, am ajus la 2 optiuni ABCom IpBix si azbox. In final am decis la Azbox datorita hardware-ului care e departe mai bun (procesor mai bun, support 1080p, suport pt 2 tunere)

Cu softul stau ei mai prost, si avem deocamdata mai mult de suferit, dar se pare ca se misca treaba, si sunt tot mai multi care lucreaza la asta, si surprizele placute sunt tot mai dese.
Apro-pos de asta tocmai am citit undeva ca e o varianta cccam in teste, si la mijlocul lui Aprilie va iesi? ramane de vazut.

LA partea de media player e chiar super, se misca bine, citeste cam tot. Problema e la subtitirari putin (fonturile au 5 marimi prestabilite, si cea mare, parca nu e chiar asa de mare, inca nu am gasit unde sa pot schimba aceste valori prestabilite). Tot la subtitrari pt mediaplayer, pt a sincroiniza, trebuie umblat putin in meniuri, nu e nimic cu tasta rapida. Oricum sunt aspecte minore, poate se vor customiza odata.

Eu pot spune ca sunt multumit de el.

Diferenta dintre Premium si Elite e de 90 euro , merita zic eu . Mai sunt ceva prob. cum ar fi lipsa unui editor de setari si newcs care nu merge cu orice sistem/cartela . Diferenta fata de alte recept. pe partea de functionare e lipsa blocarilor ; am facut niste experimente : am scos reteaua cand facea update de soft de pe net si apoi am intrerupt si alimentarea in momentul cel mai critic , cand schimba librariile si surpriza : n-am reusit sa-l omor :D

Eu am optat pt un Elite, si nu neaparat din considerente financiare, si mai mult fizice. Stiu ca pare ciudat, dar vroiam neaprat sa nu depaseasca 300 mm in latime. Am anumite limitari prinvind amplasamentul. Dar oricum, ma multumeste si elite, cu HDD extern (poate din considerente termice, ar fi chiar mai bine).
Eu zic ca merita un Pemium. Dar diferenta e undeva la aprox 100 euro.

@Valerica:
Ai avut tupeu sa faci testele alea.... :) Sau te-ai bazat pe garantie? :) sau pe rescrierea boot loaderului? Parca nu e clar daca are jitter sau nu?

Are niste pini pentru RS232 langa conectorul de alimentare HDD , il rezolvam pe acolo :) , iar cand face download de pe net se opreste 10 sec , rebooteaza si intra tot in meniul settings .

Cum montam un HDD pe un AzBox Elite HD?

In imagine este o placa de baza Elite HD. Sageata albastra indica modulu de memorie de 256MB FDM (Flash Device Module) care este conectat prin conector IDE normal.

In locul FDM ca si la placile de baza de la PC se poate lega HDD printr-un cablu IDE. Pe master se monteaza FDM iar pe slave se pune HDD-ul, daca se monteaza un HDD de notebook atunci se poate monta in cutie.

Ramane de rezolvat problema amplasarii in interior a HDD (nu prea e loc).
Se mai poate incerca o varianta : montare sursa intr-o carcasa externa si amplasare HDD in locul ei . Va pot da detalii despre conectarea PB la sursa externa , asa cum este la mine in Premium . In plus puteti pune HDD SATA - cred ca si pe Elite exista conector pentru un astfel de HDD .

Ce se mai spune despre AZBOX ?
Este mai bun decat un IPBOX ?

Nu prea este mare miscare pe sectiunea asta , semn ca nu prea sunt multi posesori de acest receiver ...... oare ma insel ?

Intreb si eu , ca sunt in dilema de alegere a unui receiver HD si vreau sa citesc cat mai multe opinii pertinente despre orice receiver

E foarte bun receptor ca media center.Ruleze destul de multe lucruri dvd.iso,divx,mkv, dar ca receptor si special la domeniu de emu e cam varza...merge mgcamd,si pina acuma o saptamina mergea si mbox,dar dupa niste modificari la drivers lui slot nu mai merge nici mbox.Un team (de gen sifteam,gemini) a incercat sa evolueze pe Neutrino/Enigma pt receptor asta dar din pacat AZBOX nu le au ajutat deloc si asa au renuntat si ei.Un lucru care nu stia sa face alt receptor este ca stie 4:2:2,daca esti din persoane care vaneze Feed si link o sa te ajuta mult asta receptor.In plus au anuntat ca pina la 15 Mai o sa apare CCCAM pt acest receptor (nu incubus)dar nimic pina acuma.Singura versiuna lui incubus care lucreaza e 0.55 si poti sa te conectezi la numai unu server.

Citeste si asta link ca sa nu crezi ca fac propaganda pt ipbox...

eu de ex am un dm 500 si o linie pentru el, nu vad de ce as avea mai multe linii daca aceasta line merge foarte bine ......cred ca te referi la faptul ca altii au mai multe linii care se conecteaza la mai multe servere pe care le schimba.

am vorbit cu cineva care are un asemenea receiver si a spus ca este stabil si ca nu are probleme cu el ......pana la urma nu conteaza ce emulator merge (cccam, mgcamd, incubus, mbox) daca merge unul din ele si functioneaza stabil zic eu....

de ce zici ca nu este un receptor ok, si ca doar ca media player ar fi mai deosebit ??

de ex eu am o versiune de cccam in DM 500 2.0.4 si a aparut 2.0.11 si nu trec la ea petnru ca momentan receiverul merge foarte bine

chiar nu inteleg "lupta" / "batalia" asta sa tot testezi una alta cand ai ceva care merge stabil si ok......

daca cu acest receiver se vede in sharing stabil care este problema ????

E suficient sa se conecteze la un singur server cu conditia asta server sa fie foarte bun adica sa are destule cartele la hope unu si sa are versiuna de cccam mai mica de 2.1.0 (incubus 055 nu merge cu cccam 2.1.1 si 2.1.0 plus personal eu nu am fost foarte multumit cu stabilitate care a avut,facea freezuri multe ori fata de 080-082).Daca indeplinesti asta conditia e bine, dar majoritate din Romania au server slabe cu mici exeptie, si asta din cauza de cartele care punem la bataie in sharing (sunt slabe).Ca media player bate orice receptor la momentul actual si asta din cauza ca se bazeze la un CPU care se foloseste mai mult pt media center.Asta cu versiuna de cccam e depinde de server.De exemplu tu folosesti pe versiuna 2.0.4 si esti multumit dar sunt altii care prefera la foloseste versiuni mai noi si in plus pune la cccam.cfg limita la versiuna.Adica daca foloseste pe versiuna 2.1.0 il seteze sa aceapta versiuni de 2.0.9 si sus.Asa tu nu poti sa te conectezi la ei.Acuma depinde ce doresti de la receptor,de exemplu sunt multi care se crizeze pt ca receptor nu merge cu E2 sau ca nu ruleaza cccam...Daca nu ai probleme de gen asta si ai cef sa astepti sa se evolueze software e ok daca astepti din moment care il cumpari sa il face toate perfect si fara sa se bloceaza atunci nu o sa fi multumit.

a aparut chiar 2.1.1, dar nu asta conteaza.
0.55 e prima varianta care pe langa faptul ca-ti permite doar o linie de client (suficient daca esit conectat la un server bun), nu se prea impaca cu anumiti provideri si mai ales nu stie auto-reconect. daca pierde legatura cu serverul, trebuie sa-l restartezi manual emulatorul.
mbox nu mai merge, cel putin pentru moment.
mgcamd-ul are si el probleme cu anumiti provideri.
daca va avea si suport nativ pe cccam, atunci va fi un receptor foarte interesant pentru dezvoltatorii de imagini.

Mai intai de toate doresc sa fac un salut tuturor.
Ca sa spun adevarul, sunt interesat sa cumpar versiunea Premium in primul rand pentru acel ceva in plus datorat celor de la Sigma, cu toate ca din alte puncte de vedere, pentru inceput si asta, dedus din spusele voastre, are ceva lipsuri. Am facut cateva calcule si cred ca in acei 300 si ceva de euro va indeplini si partea multimediala si cea satelitara.

Am inteles ca nu va exista un Enigma pentru acest ricevitor, suportul cccam este destul de slabutz cu toate ca a iesit si beta 3 de care inca nimeni nu vorbeste, feed-urile 4.2.2, revelatia de moment am inteles ca este incerta, merg si nu merg. Din punct de vedre multimedial am inteles ca are ceva limite, fisierele M2TS nu sunt recunoscute, cu toate ca procesorul poate indeplini si aceasta functie, sau probabil nimeni nu le-a incercat dintr-un HDD intern.

Voi ce credeti, merita investitia?

Un mic update : cu ultmul soft 2163 pe Premium si HDD WD intern merg perfect fisierele m2ts - testat personal cu Yes man movie / 38Mbps .
Toate feed-urile 4:2:2 care pe care le-am verificat in ultimile 4 zile au mers . CCC are probleme , corect 1 singur + - merge premiere hd perfect (incubus 0.55 nu stie n3 mapping) ; am ramas pe incubus .
Daca se va renunta la dezv. softului in vederea portarii E2 , am vandut instantaneu receptorul ....

Asta este o buna notitie. Deja din punct de vedere multimedial nu mai are nimic de invidiat fata de playerele multimediale de moment. Mai ramane ajustarea segmentului satelitar, acesta fiind si cel mai important.

Instalezi din plug-ins/manual install newcs.tgz si mgcamd.tgz si apoi cu ftp :
1)in newcs modifici <mhz>358</mhz>
2)in mgcamd creezi un fisier newcamd.list in care scrii :
CWS = 127.0.0.1 20000 dummy dummy 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 lan local
CWS_INCOMING_PORT = 12000
Dai 755 peste tot , activezi(fara #in fata) newcs si mgcamd + start/buton galben . Bagi cartela contactele in jos si vezi daca merge ; poate vers. asta de newcs stie conax .... la mine merge perfect via tvr hd , n-am focus sa testez .

Gigi functioneaza perfect pe chei cu mgcamd si softcam.key daca ultimul contine cheile corecte . Acestea pe obtin cu plugin-ul SCDXCas care se gaseste pe serverul dedicat _www.descargas.azboxhd.es . Pentru a intra pe acest server trebuie editata una din cele 4 adrese din optiunea manual install din interiorul OPENXCas .

After installation of this application, CAM\'s are ready to be installed in AzBox, but to be sure that You have newest versions of CAM\'s, from time to time

In application there is attached few localizations ( language files ), but also You can store translation by this way:

There is new plug-in from Kanber_Kav, and it is Internet WebCam Viewer. Watch thousands of Internet Web Cams arround internet ( City, Sex, Games etc )

Installation:

Extract archive webcamview.rar and You will see two files ( webcamviwer.plugin and plugins.lst ).

Copy that Files to USB or simply transfer them by FTP to /tmp folder of Your AzBox HD, and now enter on TV in Plug-ins, press Red Button on Remote controller to add plug-in.

If You are using USB select to install it from USB, or if You transfered files to /tmp folder install it from tmp folder.

A incercat cineva TP 11012 V de pe Hellas pe Azbox?
La mine arata semnat 86 si calitate 0. Nu pot sa scanez, nu gaseste nimic.
Ma tot gandesc, e pb la LNB-ul meu? restul TP-urilor sunt ok.
Am setat si DVB-S2/8PSK si nimic. :(

Varianta 2372 nu are in + decat search pt. dvb-c , deci nu ne foloseste . Inca ceva : pune toti parametrii transponderului in menu , nu lasa nimic pe auto ; poti sa te joci si la frecv. +/- 1-2 MHz .

tot nu merge, chiar daca am pus 2371 :(
am incercat sa pun in loc de 11012 V, 11010 , 11015 dar tot nimic. Am pus SR-ul la 30000 si FEC-ul la 3/4, totul e ok. Dar tot nu merge.
Interesant e ca nivel semnal e totusi la 86, dar calitate 0.
Am incercat si alt TP de low 10956 V si acelasi lucru, calitate 0. de la 11512 H am si calitate, si pot scana.
Ma tot gandesc sa nu fie o pb la tuner? sau la LNB?

Nu exista in lista. In lista, default e de la 12000 in sus. Cu alta antena nu prea am de unde :( . Singura sansa e sa incerc sa elimin Diseq si eventual sa schimb lnb-ul. Sper sa nu fie tunerul cu probleme la frecventele low. :(

revin la problema mea cu TP 11012 V de pe hellas sat, 39e.
Am incercat cu alte lnb-uri, excluzand diseq-ul, si tot acelasi rezultat. Am incercat si un Factory Reset, firmware, de la 0.9.2238 pana la 0.9.2880 si aceleasi rezultate, calitate 0.
Initial m-am gandit ca poate fi pb in tuner-ul receiverului, dar am incercat pe alti sateliti ca Asta 19.2 si Astra 2 28,2 e, chiar si frecventa low, si DVB-s2/8PSK si acelea merg bine. Deci exclud si ipoteza asta.
Mai mult de atat si pe Hellas pe TP 10984 V, care este pe acelasi beam ca si 11012V, este calitate.

Ce am mai observat, destul de ciudat, as spune, daca pun mana in fata lnb-ul semnalul scade de la 87 la 81. Acelasi lucru se intampla si daca leg un lnb care nu este pus la antena (chiar orientat spre podea :) ). Deci nu prea ma pot lua dupa nivelul de semnal.

Din toata povestea asta, nu prea mai raman alte posibile probleme, decat poate faptul ca am montat un multifeed, si Hellas e in extrem, si poate pe transporderul asta este semnal mai slab, si asa poate sa nu il prind.
Poate cineva sa imi confirme nivelul semnalului/calitatea in comparatie cu ceilalti TP (sa spunem de la dolce)?

Am gasit ceva interesant aparut pe un forum din de.
Datorita unor posibile erori hardware, receiverele "vechi" sunt reparate pe gratis.
NU se specifica insa care este acea eroare hardware, si cum se poate identifica. De asemenea nici cum ne putem inscrie pt reparare/cumparare inapoi.
Am inteles ca este planificat un nou model.

Vreau sa cumpar si eu un AzBox HDsau Un Dreambox HD, nu sunt hotarat pe care dintre ele sa merg, as lua DM pentru calitatea constructiei si suportul software dar ma tenteaza f. mult functiile multimedia din AzBox...voi care aveti o experienta mai mare cu genul asta de aparate ce sfat mi-ati putea da?

1)"Calitatea constructiei" la dm este submediocra la nivelul anului 2009 ; aparatul nu va rezista mai mult de 3 ani in conditiile unei folosiri intensive - 8+ ore / zi .
2)Suportul dm este mai bun decat la orice alt receptor . Chiar si asa , calitatea imaginii in HD este net inferioara fata de alte 4 receptoare existente pe piata .

- Change some video decoder options to solve the mkv file player problems

- Change some audio decoder options to solve the glitch noise problems

- Change the recording file size to 4GB from 3GB (will be changed next
release to detect the max file size from system)

- Modify the network setting timeout for wifi to 1 minute from 30 seconds.
