Digi Mobil 5G Smart, de azi, în București și, în curând in alte orase

DIGI | RCS & RDS face un nou pas către viitorul comunicaţiilor mobile, odată cu punerea în funcţiune a primelor staţii de emisie 5G, şi dă startul dezvoltării viitoarei reţele Digi Mobil 5G Smart.

Precomandă unul dintre cele două terminale compatibile cu tehnologiile 5G, VoLTE şi VoWiFi: Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G şi Huawei Mate 20x 5G.

În următoarele săptămâni, primele staţii de bază din reţeaua Digi Mobil 5G Smart vor deveni active şi în alte localităţi: Constanţa şi Mamaia, Oradea, Cluj-Napoca şi Iaşi. Din septembrie, se vor extinde serviciile şi în Sinaia, Buşteni, Predeal, Poiana Braşov, Braşov, Timişoara, Craiova şi Sibiu.

Chiar nu înţeleg de ce să ai 5g? Stai să te uiţi pe telef la filme? Cred că 4g e suficient. Oricum nici 4g nu ai peste tot

Chesti cu vizualizatul on-line e cum e , insa eu NU intelg cum de digi/Vodafone au deja dreptul de a emite in 5G , cand inca oficial inca NU sa desfasurat acordarea lor
Am inteles ca ANCOM vrea pana pe 31 octombrie 2019 sa termine aceastam licitatie , urmand ca de la 1 ianuarie 2020 castigatorii in drept sa le foloseasca oficial
Nici in comunicatul de presa de pe pagina lor NU este specificata concret o frecventa folosita de rcs in 5G , doar un marketing fortat pt noile terminale 5G la pre-comanda
E destul de ciudata/anormala aceasta situatie , insa probabil ca anormalul a devenit normal pt autoritatiile din RO
- Pe ce frecventa/e emit 5G cei de la digi si cei de la vd ?

Cum era de asteptat si conform zicalei - Cat dai , atata face - viteza atinsa pe o strada din centru vechi a capitalei NU a depasit 500Mbps
Ce este mai deranjat ( cel putin pt mine ) este ca daca vrei sa faci un apel video , acesta functioneaza sacadat ( vezi videoclipul )
Cea ce pt noua tehnologie atat de.......mi-se pare ceva......... , insa probabil la 5 euro NU poti cere mai mult chiar si in 5G

DIGI to switch on a commercial 5G service in the capital of Bucharest, offering higher speeds and better connectivity
Deployment includes Ericsson’s 3GPP standards-based 5G New Radio (NR) hardware
Initial 5G services offered via DIGI’s available spectrum within the 3.6 – 3.8 GHz band

Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERIC) and RCS&RDS (DIGI) have launched a 5G commercial service in the busiest parts of Bucharest, Romania where 5G can really make a difference by providing increased speeds for mobile broadband to businesses and consumers.

DIGI | RCS&RDS is deploying Ericsson’s 3GPP standards-based 5G New Radio (NR) hardware and software. Built on top of DIGI’s 4G network, the enhanced mobile broadband capabilities enable customers to connect to both 4G and 5G simultaneously to get the best possible experience even in the most crowded areas, depending on the compatibility of the terminal with 5G technology.

Starting on June 27th, customers can make pre-orders on digiromania.ro to purchase terminals compatible with 5G, VoLTE and VoWiFi technology.

This first phase of DIGI’s 5G rollout is a Non-standalone (NSA) deployment focused on using the combined power of 4G and 5G. In the coming weeks, DIGI and Ericsson will activate more 5G radios and base stations in the capital of Bucharest and the city of Cluj-Napoca.

Valentin Popoviciu, Vice President DIGI| RCS & RDS, says: “In 2018, Digi | RCS & RDS took the first step towards 5G, testing the functionality of this technology on a prototype platform. Today, we are experimenting the capabilities of Digi Mobil 5G Smart network, with the commissioning of the first station in our network, in one of the busiest areas of the capital. As usual, our promise is that we will serve our customers with reliable and affordable mobile data services, including 5G, in selected areas in Bucharest and other big cities of Romania already in 2019."

Arun Bansal, President and Head of Europe and Latin America at Ericsson, says: “We are delighted to partner with DIGI as it switches on commercial 5G in Romania, joining other commercial 5G networks around the world that are powered by Ericsson. It is a crucial time for 5G in Europe and Ericsson is focused on making sure the continent is ready to reap the benefits that increased network capacity and ultra-low latency will bring.”

Romania plans to start spectrum auction for additional spectrum needed for 5G wireless networks in the fourth quarter of 2019. DIGI can already start offering initial 5G services through its already available commercial spectrum within the 3.6 – 3.8 GHz band.

Reclamele sunt sufletul comertului , dar asta NU inseamna ca intotdeauna practic sa fie ca in reclama
Vezi videoclipul postat de mine de pe YT in care viteza de down practic in strada in centrul vechi din Bucuresti NU A DEPASIT 500Mbps
Ca teoretic se pot ajunge pana la 654.15Mbps ( vezi reclama ) asta e altceva
Oricum la 5 euro Nu poti avea viteze de 1Gbps asa cum sa facut reclama pt testele care le-au facut cei de la rcs
Atunci concurenta care sigur au preturi mai mari la ab. ar trebui sa aibe viteze de down de peste 1Gbps........

Întrebarea retorică: pentru ce ai nevoie de viteză aşa de mare de internet pe mobil?
E un moft, o manipulare sau o piesă din spionajul tip "big Brother", pentru noi care utilizăm terminale 5g, adică nu noi avem nevoie de viteză de internet , ei au nevoie pentru spionarea intimităţii noastre

!. Cum fac teste daca mario scrie ca nu au voie ? :D
2. Ce ar fi intim in telefonul meu si de un interes atat de mare incat sa ma spioneze rcs sau serviciile ?
3. Beti multe lichide ! Mai multe decat de obicei si fara alcool ! :D
