Conform unui articol de pe Techspot - se pare ca sa gasit o ''rezolvare'' ( cel putin la cateva modele de pl de baza cu Z170/270 ) in a folosi noile procesoare Intel din seria 8 ( i3/i5/i7-8xxx ) - https://www.techspot.com/news/73549-modders-get-coffee-lake-cpu-running-200100-series.html
E adevarat exista unele diferente hw si din cate am inteles eu/citit pe net , noile Coffee Lake sunt ceva mai ''gurmande'' fata de seria Intel 7
De acea e nevoie ca pl de baza cu Z170/Z270 sa poata suporta noul consum a procesoarelor Coffee Lake
Un alt ''dezavantaj'' al folosiri proc Coffee Lake pe pl de baza cu chipseturile Z170/Z270 , este ca variante cu demultiplicatorul deblocat ( vers cu ''K'' ) deocamdata ....... si asta tot datorita consumului in procesul de OC
