1) Il file /var/etc/rcS.d/S70user_start.sh e' diventato /var/etc/rcS.d/S99user_start.sh
quindi in caso si voglia riutilizzare la vecchia /var spostata e' necessario rinominarlo.
File /var/etc/rcS.d/S70user_start.sh is now called /var/etc/rcS.d/S99user_start.sh

Ora lo skin DI DEFAULT e' cambiato in HappyNewYear, quindi se si vuol usare la /var spostata c'e' bisogno di

cambiare la stringa da:
s:/ezap/ui/skin=/share/tuxbox/enigma/skins/xmas.esml
in:
s:/ezap/ui/skin=/share/tuxbox/enigma/skins/happy.esml
e poi upgradare l'immagine.
Default skin is changed to HappyNewYear, if you want use old moved /var have:

1) Per chi usa la /var spostata, il plugin weekepg deve essere aggiornato, scaricabile
da online tramite blu-panel.
Il nuovo cvs del 01.01.2008 con cui e' compilata la B3 non e' compatibile con il
cvs del 16.12.2007 con cui e' compilato weekepg comprese nelle immagini precedenti.
If use moved /var ..please upgrade from online package weekepg, new cvs enigma i use for
compile B3 not is compatible with cvs is compiled weekepg from old image.

nu avem cont pe acel forum si nici un am chef sa-mi fac unu :D
Am postat aici cu gandul de a afla si parerile altor utilizatori despre imaginile ptr dream 500, ptr a compara img intre ele si sa alegem img convenabila ptr noi.
Cred ca toate imaginile au lipsuri si trebuie gasite.
M-am cam saturat sa probez o gramada de imagini pina a ma hotari la una ce imi convine.
Eu pe moment cred ca Nabilo e cea mai stabila , diseq-ul nu se blocheaza ca la gemini 4.2, un Dreamcast cu search e ce i lipseste.
Pli am incercat dar se misca aiurea la comenzi prea multe.
Astept si alte pareri despre imaginile ce le-ati incercat si pe care le folositi.
pune 4.3.1 si nu mai ai nici o problema

Attention!
This Image is only running on the regular DM500, not on the DM500plus!
This MaxVar Image is only running in flash (it has been only tested
that way). Please do only use DreamUp and don´t forget the flash erase.
Do not use other tools like FW or DCC.
Our clone box recognition mechanism caused large waves in the last days
and many opinions have been told to us. On the one hand there have been
the enraged owners of clone, who had to install their addons manually
now without Blue panel. Then there have been the people who simply did
not understand Linux and the GPL and accused us of GPL-breach. Also a
financial dependence or support from Dream Multimedia and or sponsors
was subordinated to us.
On the other hand there have been over 1500 users of our forum who
singned our explanation.
All in all our action was accepted very positively and we achieved our
intended goal to give an impulse the owners of clone boxes. There have
also been cases in which people who thought they owned a genuine
Dreambox noticed because of this action that they are owners of a clone
box. Too our own surprise according to unconfirmed messages, now one of
the manufacturer changed over to supply their own images.
Recapitulatory we note, it was never our intention to insert a
waterproof recognition and to get in a Cat-and-mouse game between us
and the box manufacturer. Our intension was to push a general
discussion to create a consciousness on the clone and reproduction
problem and to disasociate us from the clones, too. In the context of
our possibilities as image developer we have used the one and only
available possibility to make our point of view clear. As
image-developer we have absolutly no influence on sponsors, dealers or
Dream Multimedia. Our influence on the persons and companies involved
in this relationship is very limited and lacked also on support from
some places. In any case we get attention on our displeasure and we did
not send newsletters of our sponsors containing information about
clones. We will keep this in the ***ure.
As we all are Dreambox fans we would like to say clearly, that it is in
the exclusive responsibility of Dreammultimedia to proceed against
clones. Only DMM has the possibilities (e.g. legal) which might be the
only effective method against clones.
For us as Gemini developer and operators of the IHAD this action is now
finished. With the upcoming release 4.3.1 of the Gemini Project the
clone recognition will be deactivated. We nevertheless ask everyone to
use its influence to proceed against clones.

Vedeti ca lipseste din lista cu sateliti tocmai 1W. Salvati satelite.xml din var/etc din imaginea functionala si inlocuiti in noua imagine 4.31.
Jale mare: au scos satelitu' lu' gigi. La ce se mai uita baietii????

Inainte sa instalati noua imagine faceti un backup la folderul VAR cu un client ftp....copy si paste. Si luati din el tot ce va trebuie.

Vedeti ca lipseste din lista cu sateliti tocmai 1W. Salvati satelite.xml din var/etc din imaginea functionala si inlocuiti in noua imagine 4.31.

pune mo gemini4.3.1 nu te lua dupa toti care habar nu au sa instaleze o imagine :D
descarci imaginea din server de la gemini si tio pune in /tmp daca nu stii cum se face uite asa:
BluePanel => Addons => Downoad (Gemini-Server) => Updates => Gemini 4.3.1 DM500-MaxVAR => OK => OK
si dupaia te duci sa o instalezi (update) MENIU-6-5-3-2-OK-OK
A mers bine si 4.3...merge bine si 4.3.1.
P.S. Am instalat-o imediat dupa ce a aparut.
Cea mai buna metoda ptr backup si instalare rapida de imagini (img) testata de mine este:
Pentru back-up:
- intra cu telnet sau putty in dream si da comanda:
- cat /dev/mtd/3 > /var/tmp/backup.img si da ENTER
- transfera prin FTP fisierul backup.img din directorul /tmp in calculator
Pentru a restaura un back-up:
- copiaza prin FTP din calculator in dream fisierul backup.img (sau cum se numeste el), apoi intra cu telnet sau putty in dream si da comenzile:
- cd /var/tmp si da ENTER
- eraseall /dev/mtd/3 && cp backup.img /dev/mtd/3 si da ENTER
- dupa ce a terminat tasteaza "reboot" si da ENTER.
Eu folosesc putty ptr ca mi se pare mai usor de folosit.
Imaginea e ok si nu am observat diferente.
Ramane fiecare sa hotarasca daca sa instaleze sau nu.
Bafta.

Apasand cateva butoane de la telecomanda n-o sa inveti niciodata sa intelegi un dreambox. Eu am aratat si cum faci backup si cum revii la vechiul backup sau sa instalezi o noua imagine.

Noi nu facem concurenta intre cunostiintele noastre,NOI prezentam diverse solutii pentru TOTI membrii,nu toti stiu sa se joace cu FTP,nu o lua ca pe un afront personal!! scuze de offtopic.
Fiecare e liber sa aleaga ce varianta de instalare doreste;FTP/DCC/Blue panel /Telnet etc.
Astazi am trecut inapoi la nabilo ptr ca de 2 ori dimineata am gasit receptorul blocat. Plus ca atunci cand butonam mai repede telecomanda receptorul intra in pauza de masa si isi revenea in 5-10 min daca era lasat in pace. Sau daca ii dadeai restart de la retea sau prin telnet.
Este o imagine usor de instalat, usor de configurat, dar mi se pare ca e cam lenesa.

Imaginea se misca destul de repede, gboxul il porneste fara alte scripturi (doar pus fisierul gbox in /var/bin si atribut 755 si fisierele din /var/keys). Decodarea se face un pic mai greu decat la alte imagini in sensul ca initial apare mesajul ca nu poate decoda si imediat apare si imaginea. In schimb are mult spatiu liber in var fata de alte imagini.
Nu am gasit skin ptr a afisa informatii referitoare la decodare gen enigmatique, skin pe care l-am si pus si receptorul a inceput sa se restarteze singur. Momentan am revenit rapid la nabilo din lipsa de timp.

si daca spui ca face fitze nici nu are rost sa schimb...tot la gemini4.3.1 raman :P
Fite nu face. Nu ai inteles ce am vrut sa spun. Imaginea se misca bine, numai ca atunci cand dai pe un program codat iti apare mesajul "canal codat" si imediat se face si decodarea. Iar la capitolul minusuri am remarcat ca nu afiseaza deloc imformatii despre sharing. Am instalat skinul enigmatique si deoarece nu e compatibil a inceput sa se restarteze.
Cand o sa am timp o sa fac si screenshooturi.

@outcast ....imaginea se misca mai bine decat gemini. Nu se blocheaza. Am testat multe imagini, iar gemini mi s-a parut o imagine instabila, insa beneficiaza de cel mai bun suport.

-call waitpid on the child process, when it finished. This avoids zombies, and allows us to get the exit status.

Nu are firewall inclus. Are o singura mare problema; nu afiseaza subtitrarea, desi o poti selecta si ramane selectata chiar daca schimbi programul.

Daca nu va deranjeaza problema subtitrarii (desi sunt convins ca da) puteti instala imaginea. O recomand.

DA. Nemesis e peste gemini. Si inca am imaginea chiar daca intre timp am mai testat cateva imagini (PGb1.0dm500, STRMR_500_MAXVAR_2.02, castle_106_maxvar_500, ds_sunrise_500, punt@ltwodm500MV-last image, TWD).
Dintre toate ds_sunrise mi-a lasat o impresie placuta. La fel si cea turceasca (TWD). Pe castle_106_maxvar_500 nu am reusit sa instalez gbox. E singura cu care nu m-am descurcat.

La mine a mers prima data dupa aceea nu a mai vrut deloc,probabil e singurul bug pe care il are.
a rezistat subtitrarea la zapp si restart ; mewcs+mgcam au mincat singure cam 33% din /var .
( si daca nu ma insel are default cel mai oribil OSD intilnit pina acum )
Cred ca din cauza OSD-ului nu am stat sa ma joc mai mult cu imaginea. Cert e ca la mine nu a vrut deloc sa mearga subtitrarea. Butonul audio era inexistent. Oricum cred ca baietii au facut un pas inapoi cu aceasta imagine.
Imaginile GP 4.3.0 si 4.3.1 nu le mai puneti!
Riscati sa va distrugeti boxurile!
Bine ca am pus la backup ca e 431 sa nu injure lumea ...imi pare rau dar si eu sant cu virusul in optibox.
Poate scoate cineva din imaginea aia cu au pe mct fisierele exacte ce fac au cu orice emu ? Poate se pot introduce in alt gemini mai vechi sau in Nabilo.

si eu foloseam gp431 no public dar l-am schimbat imediat din cauza virusului,cautind pe net am gasit imaginea asta SifTeam-sexy-1.8.9B-500MV.img poate reusesti tu sa o faci sa mearga ca eu nu am reusit.

AU face numai cu acea imagine Gemini 4.31, pe langa fisierele sus amintite aceasta imagine cred ca mai are ceva compilat. Am pus fisierele respective pe Nabilo si nu face AU.
....cautind pe net am gasit imaginea asta SifTeam-sexy-1.8.9B-500MV.img poate reusesti tu sa o faci sa mearga ca eu nu am reusit.
Sexy nu vine de la faptul ca face AU la canalele xxx, ci de la faptul ca in fundal afiseaza o imagine ce se incadreaza ( mai mult sau mai putin) in categoria sexy.
O imagine care cu adevarat merita incercata este "Sattv-forum image 1.1 info"( cea prezentata cu o pagina in urma de @Spaniolul) . Pana acum am constatat ca este cu mult peste unele imagini, este f rapida, fiabila, nu se blocheaza, are suport acceptabil pe serverul local. Eu personal am fost impresionat de aceasta imagine.
folosesc softul EDG-Nemesis 4.0 MaxVar DM500 am bagat mgcamd 1.2.8 si nu pot sa instalez din meniul receptorului nu imi vede am incercat si ccam 2.0.8 si tot asa si mgcamd 1.3.0 , 1.2.6,1.2.9 si tot asa nu imi vede sa instalez manual ma poate ajuta cineva ce emu sa bag pe el sa mearga sa mil vada ?multumesc anticipat

Daca s-a rezolvat ce ma deranja pe mine (adica afisarea informatiilor cu ptest ) ar fi cea mai buna img ptr clone .Am sa incerc azi .

S-a rezolvat , merge si ptest adica skinul gen enigmatique ,si au o noua imagine de boot.
Testata , am verificat daca are bomba si nu are (verificat cu dm500_clone_bomb_checker_v1.0). Are alta imagine de boot fata de 1.2 si in rest nu am vazut nimic.

Ori comutatorul diseq 4+1 mananca curent sau e defect ori sant probleme cu recunoasterea diseq ului de catre imagine , nici sattv si nici todo nu se comporta normal , apare mesajul " service not found " chiar daca e orientata bine antena . Acum iar trebuie sa caut ceva sa ma multumeasca , o imagine ce nu face probleme. Gemini a mers cel mai bine dar la macul ce il am nu este indicata . As vrea sa stiu daca si voi aiti avut problema asta.
Eu n-am intalnit astfel de probleme pe celelalte doua imagini, pe asta noua n-am testat-o inca. Mie gemini mi se pare una din cele mai proaste imagini si am atat macul si dm-ul original.
Printre preferate ar fi nabilo si nemesis.
Testez mai bine nemesis sa vad cum este , a disparut problema dar vreau sa vad daca era din cauza listei.

Oameni buni. Am incercat si eu sa schimb gp 4.2.0 (am optibox :gathering:) si m-am gandit sa pun imaginea sattv-forum. Problema e ca nu reusesc sa copiez pe el nimic prin ftp, imi zice access denied (evident vreau sa pun in /var ). Este undeva o setare sa nu fie readonly ?
Trebuie mai intai sa setezi ip ul in expert setings , parola e dreambox . Nu e nimic deosebit in setari . Trebuie sa mearga , banuiesc ca ai mai schimbat img. si nu e prima data asta.

Da, asa e. Se conecteaza prin ftp (fol. total commander, ca de obicei), dar cand vreau sa uploadez ceva pe el, zice access denied, i-am dat df in telnet, mai am spatiu pe el. Nu ma lasa nici sa creez director, nimic.
Ca si cum /var ar fi read only.

Am specificat ca e numai ptr originale , clona mea a picat cu aceasta imagine , acum daca am mac de original (mac-ul apartine dream multimedia dupa verificare) sau asa cred ... inca nu m-am cumintit , ce o fi acum , se buleste sau nu .:comp:

poate nu ti-a mers fiindca ai luat o imagine pt. DM 500C (pt. cablu) nu de satelit , cel putin link-ul pus de tine deschide sectiunea DM 500C.
Am specificat '' cititi cu atentie '' si tu doar ai citit , imaginea functioneaza pe dm500 s dar nu mi-a reusit faza din rapid share .

A few details about the image!
Yellow - Kaos Panel (Extra settings, Manager suite, User features)
Blue - Plugins (preloaded with a few)
Red - EPG (double press to bring up a few options including EPG Search)
Green - SubServices for satellite viewing, i.e. Premiere Sport Portal. Also if you hold it down for more than 3 secs it shows the DVR controls for reco***ng.
Info - Infobar popup as usual but hold down for more than 3 secs to bring up the EMU Manager, kind of a hidden menu.

Included Plugins
DreamNetCast Internet Radio - Listen to internet radio if your dreambox is connected to the internet. Add stations in the /var/etc/stations.xml file.
RSS NewsReader - Read RSS feeds on your dreambox. Including the Digital Kaos forums. Edit the /var/tuxbox/config/rss/feeds.xml file with your own feeds, although some have been added for you.
Tuxbox Commander - For editing the filesystem on your dreambox.
Teletext - Available via the 'TEXT' button on remote or via the blue button menu.
Internet Image Updates
All future image releases will be available to update over the internet.
Menu > Setup > Expert Setup > Software Update > Internet Update
If you are currently using a DW image and you want to copy your services and bouquets to this image, do the following...
Using remote, Blue > User Features > ServicesBackup
FTP to your dreambox and navigate to /tmp.
Copy the services.tar.gz file to your PC.
Flash the new DK v1 image.
Copy the services.tar.gx file from your PC to your dreambox.
Using remote, Yellow > User Features > ServicesRestore
Exit out all menus, hold 'INFO' to bring up the EMU manager and press OK to start
DO NOT COPY YOUR WHOLE /var/tuxbox/config/enigma FOLDER TO THIS IMAGE!!!! IT WILL NOT WORK!!!!
No Keys or Roms
This image is supplied without any keys or roms. It is a FTA image only!
But I did find that someone has uploaded these files which appear to work fine with this and any other image.

Ei bine aceasta a fost o lungă perioadă de timp, dar care provin din urmă este aici - Digital Kaos v1 imagine pentru toate versiunile de DM500, cablu satelit si terestru.
Vă rugăm să citiţi acest articol in intregime inainte de a cere orice fel de intrebări. Toate intrebările cu răspunsuri in acest articol vor fi menţionate aici.
Cateva detalii despre imagine!
Yellow - Panou de Kaos (extra setări, Manager de apartament, cu caracteristici de utilizator)
Blue - Dop (preincărcate cu cateva)
Red - EPG (dublu de presa pentru a aduce o serie de opţiuni, inclusiv Cauta EPG)
Green - SubServices pentru vizualizare prin satelit, şi anume, Premiere Sport Portal. De asemenea, dacă vă ţineţi-l in jos pentru mai mult de 3 secunde-l arată DVR controale pentru reco *** ng.
Info - Infobar pop-up, ca de obicei, dar ţineţi apăsată tasta pentru mai mult de 3 secunde pentru a ajunge la UEM Manager, un fel de meniu ascunse.

Recommendation:
If you don't install the Image in flash memory, the flash image shouldn't be of a old version. A swap file/partition (>= 16MB) should be present

Da.Isi mentine subtitrarea,are pluginul CCcam info inclus,face update la EPG,ce sa mai,super.Parca si calitatea imaginii este mai buna.Poate a mai testat si altcineva si poate confirma.
