OSCam-emu: Open Source Conditional Access Module Emulator
=========================================================

OSCam-emu is an Oscam addon module to include emulator support and other functionality that collides with the goal of the original oscam developers.

This patch creates a virtual card reader which is configured automatically.
You may save the default reader configuration with the webif and then modify it to your own liking.

Key file ("SoftCam.Key"):
OSCam-emu does not require, but will make use of "SoftCam.Key" if available.
"SoftCam.Key" is searched in the oscam config folder (where oscam.conf is located) and also in "/var/keys".

You may use OSEmu instead and add it as a reader to your plain oscam server.
OSEmu can be found at https://github.com/oscam-emu/OSEmu

Building OSCam-emu from source
==========================

- Get the lastest oscam sources from SVN:
svn checkout http://www.streamboard.tv/svn/oscam/trunk oscam-svn

- Save the oscam-emu.patch file
wget https://github.com/oscam-emu/oscam-emu/raw/master/oscam-emu.patch

- Go to oscam-svn directory.

- Patch the source with the EMU patch:
patch -p0 < ../oscam-emu.patch

- OR: Instead of 'patch', you may also use 'svn patch':
svn patch ../oscam-emu.patch

- Put a SoftCam.Key file into the oscam-svn directory (for example from skystar.org)
Note: This does not apply for Mac OSX, SoftCam.Key cannot be integrated on this system at the moment.

- Run `./config.sh -g` to choose the features you want.

- Run `make` to compile OSCam.

Simplebuild iti instalează toate utilitarele necesare compilarii și executării oscam-ului.

Cum adica va merge brici?. Brici pe PC poate.
Pe DM800 nu se confirma.
Cu oscam-emu r10013 share si dvbapi activ desi ecm e mic sau aproape mic (reader emu e setat delay default 60ms) deschide din NET. Luat reteaua, adica fara NET, la zapping cu norme de codare diferite ex. Cryptoworks Viaccess are un delay de te plictisesti asteptand sa decodeze. Dupa ce intra, nu mai sunt probleme. Activand apoi reteaua, sta pe emu. Daca schimbi canalul iara ia de pe NET. Asta inseamna ca merge brici?
Mai trebuie sa se coaca.
Alte pareri? Poate gresesc eu ceva si imi scapa.

E din setari.
De exemplu la 1801 daca nu setezi tunneling oscam incearca sa ia din net pana invata balancerul localul tau si nici atunci nu e sigur ca va lua doar din emu.
Pune: lb_auto_betatunnel_mode din intervalul 3 - 6 sau dezactiveaza Auto Betatunnel.
In oscam.dvbapi pune P:1801.
Asemenea la celelalte sisteme. Trebuie sa ai balancerul activ si bine configurat si in unele situatii adaugi un I sau un P in oscam.dvbapi

Eu folosesc de luni de zile oscam cu patch, impachetat cu simplebuild. Merge super si cu SRG si ORF si Digi cablu si sd pe 7 est. Sa vedem ce va fi si cu Power VU. Am gasit ceva si pt placa de satelit, modulul pt vPlug - Power vu, dar n-am timp acum sa testez. E mai interesant sa vad Fed Cup pe 15 W 11541 - Pol: H - SR: 7500 h264, feedul pt Dolce cu audio ro. Aia e veche. Cea noua are mai multe. In general imi deschide turcii la 7e, canal digitaal, cateva canale de la UPC, ceva de la 13E, etc. Nu am stat sa caut. Sunt sigur ca se deschid multe canale. Oricum, cine se uita? Sunt mii de canale tv. Ah... PowerVU, uitasem. Nici i șansă! Nu comercializează soluția către individuali.

Enigma2 streams to oscam-emu, and oscam-emu streams back to Enigma2. You can watch on Enigma2 directly. You can add the stream URL to your channel list, and directly watch on the E2. So, the stream relay needs a fast CPU. For example, CPU usage on VU+ Duo2 for SD Channel 5% & for HD Channel is 15%. Not every STB is fast enough. Daca ai un ipk functional, poti schimba doar executabilul oscam pastrand doar numele celui original.
La atribute pui 755 !
Dupa ce le schimbi dai un emu stop apoi emu start din meniuri (panel etc), nu e necesar telnet pentru asta.

Depinde cum are oscamu preconfigurata (la compilare) calea filei de setari.
Poate fi in /var/keys la unu din ele si in alta parte la celalalt.
Oricum asta se poate verifica din telnet.

October 2017 update (revised)

As of October 2017 the BISS code has been greatly improved.

The old code distinguished channels only by using the service id (sid) and any one of the ecm pid (which for 99.99% of the channels is the same) or the channel's video and audio pids. As a result there were too many key clashes in the SoftCam.Key file. These formal (legacy) methods of channel identification remain in the new code as well for backwards compatibility and for those users that have a small number of keys in their SoftCam.Key and don't experience collisions. This way no editing is needed for the SoftCam.Key to work with the revised BISS code.

The revised code makes key searches based on crc32 hashes. There are two different hashes available:
The namespace hash, which is calculated by the enigma2 namespace (orbital position, frequency, polarization) and the service id of the channel. These two alone are enough to create a unique channel identifier.
There's also a universal hash, which is calculated using every pid of the channel (service id, pmt, video and audio pids). This universal hash, while not being unique as the namespace hash, is available on every box (enigma and non-enigma) and is a better alternative than oscam's constant cw protocol, since it takes audio pids into account, as well.
Using hashes to match keys, we get a distinct (unique in the case of namespace hash) identifier for each channel, which makes OSCam-Emu ideal for descrambling not only a huge amount of regular channels, but also for occasional transmitions (feeds).

Il cauti unde este executabilul, il redenumesti la fel si il pui peste.
Locatia probabila este in /usr/bin/ sau in /usr/local/bin/

Cel mai usor cauti in service /etc/init.d/oscam (asta daca ai sysvinit)

Salutare, utimele versiuni de oscam nu au CacheEX, din cate am citit trebuie compilat oscam-ul lucru la care nu ma pricep, poate compila cineva o versiune si sa o puna pe site.

Salut... si Hristos a Inviat! de o saptamana ,ma lovesc de o problema. Am un Octgon sf8008 cu o imagine Openatv 6.2 .Si OSCam r11517-795.

Foloseşte interfaţa web a Oscamului, şi va fi mai uşor.

Am si eu o intrebare pentru cunoscatori. Am instalat ultima versiune de oscam emu. Am pus un softcam pt power vu key de pe 0.8W. A mers ok cateva zile apoi s-a oprit. Presupun ca s-au schimbat cheile. Emulatorul din oscam pt power face AU la Power VU? Trebuie facuta o setare speciala sau trebuie de fiecare data sa caut un softcam cu key actualizate? Sau trebuie sa activez ceva din oscam pt AU?

Activează load balancerul și va face asa doar la prima deschidere.
Contează sa îl pui pe 1, și poti seta filele de balancer sa fie salvate in memoria nevolatila.

Pe aceeasi masina am oscam si osemu. Am conectat osemu la oscam, dar nu vrea sa traga din el, clientul din oscam ia din alta parte, tot din emu.
Fisierul necesar este acelasi care functioneaza pe un box. Unde e chichita, ca nu-mi dau seama.

Faci un reader protocol = constcw unde dai calea catre o lista constant.cw cu ce trebuie care va fi pusa langa celelalte fisiere in config.
