The new Polish DTH platform nC+ will officially make its debut today (March 21). Although full details of its offer have yet to be revealed – an announcement will be made today – it is expected to include at least 50 HD channels and include a large number of packages, starting from PLN39 (€9.4) a month.
Significantly, reception of the service will be through a new hybrid set-top box named MediaBOX+.
Produced by ADB and employing Conax conditional access, it will be include a 500 GB hard disk.
The platform, formed by the merger of N and Cyfra+, will start with 2.5 million subscribers, or around one million fewer than Cyfrowy Polsat, the market leader.
