Deschid acest topic pentru a face schimb de experienta, deoarece exista atat de multe aplicatii incat nimeni nu le stie pe toate.
Asa am putea afla de unele folositoare si de asemenea putem posta ceva link-uri catre tutoriale si alte chestii interesante.

Cum sa descoperi aplicatiile malitioase din dispozitivele Android
Nu mai reprezinta nicio noutate faptul ca in Android Market se gasesc numeroase aplicatii malitioase, pe care fara sa stii, le poti instala in telefonul tau. Verificarea fiecarei aplicatii instalate, pentru a-i confirma securitatea, reprezinta un proces anevoios, iar multi pot opta adesea pentru revenirea la setarile din fabrica. Exista insa o aplicatie gratuita numita PermissionDog, care iti scaneza dispozitivul dupa orice aplicatie care ar putea cauza probleme, pentru a-ti confirma sau nu, natura malitioasa a programului.
Iata cum sa o folosesti:
Instaleaza PermissionDog si porneste procesul de scanare. Va avea nevoie de ceva timp pentru a-ti scana toate aplicatiile. Odata ce a terminat scanarea, selecteaza tab-ul “Applications”, apoi intra in Meniu si selecteaza “Sort by Danger”, pentru a putea vedea ce aplicatii sunt periculoase. Daca vei observa ca o aplicatie pe care nu o folosesti niciodata are acces la niveluri nepermise unei aplicatii, este recomandat sa o dezinstalezi.
Personal si eu as fii interesat de niste aplicatii android , insa pt. o tableta de 7" cu android 4 , fiindca nu imi place sa tot stau sa testez diferite aplicatii care se gasesc in Market si sant pt. smartphon-uri
Am intalnit anunturi de genul - ca nu este compatibil cu device-ul meu sau pt. Ro , mai ales ca pretul tabletelor a inceput sa scada ( teoretic fiind accesibile pt. mai multi useri )

Si faza tare e ca face update la aplicatiile instalate... de ex. mi-a pus tapatalk 2.0.2 si nu ma descurc cu el deocamdata!

Apropo... poate mai are si altcineva probleme cand incearca sa instaleze aplicatii si primeste eroarea "was not installed", sau "couldn't be installed on the phone or SD card" (ceva de genul.

La care ce model intalnesti tu aceasta erroare ?
La S2 ?
Da, Sgs2 cu ICS (cred ca e 4.0.3). eroarea apare cam la 20% din aplicatiile pe care vreau sa le instalez, dar dupa ce dau unmount merge normal.

Varianta pro va aduce in plus doar optiunea de inregistrare a stream-ului.
Apropo, am instalat un program de radio care citea si RDS dar avea o interfata oribilia, si din cate am inteles putea sa distruga si difuzorul telefonului. Stiti de vreo aplicatie radio FM care sa citeasca si datele RDS, dar care sa fie stabila?
(RDS merge citit din cate am inteles doar pe telefoanele rootate)
Imi pare bine ca sa deschis acest theard. Eu inca nu am telefon cu android dar cred ca mai astept putin sa strang ceva banuti si imi iau un SGS2, si atunci o sa ma aveti si pe mine cu teste :)

Salut am instalat Sopcast dar unde gasesc in telefon open url sa pot pune fisierul
Eu am copiat textu intrun fisier txt apoi transfer in telefon dupa care copi paste direct in aplicatie in open url . Merge foarte bine. Ps:Trebuie sters numele canalului

ieri mi-a fost recomandat Route 66, un navigator destul de interesant, ce utilizeaza camera frontala in modul navigatie, oferind o imagine reala a "hartii" animata de o masinuta ce semnalizeaza sau franeaza in functie de traseul prestabilit si viteza de deplasare.
aplicatia premium este gratuita 30 zile, limba si hartile fiind disponibile prin download(romana+romania) direct din aplicatie(recomand wifi).
Il recomand ca si navigator pentru cei ce utilizeaza tablete.

am facut o ruta de vreo 3 km, deci nu prea am avut ce sa testez, se prezinta bine, slabut in functii, dar isi face treaba....de testat.

nu iti ia fisiereul trebuie adaugate adresele manual(cate una, pentru vizualizare nu pentru integrare in db), sau direct copy/paste din site a adreselor, ex>

nu am incercat modificarea db a fisierului chlist(necesita root) cu aceste noi adrese, si o incarcare in offline cu serverul de bachup pe acelasi cont anonim.

Google Maps poate lucra si fara conexiune internet pe o harta cu raza de 16 km, aleasa si salvata de catre utilizator.
Salvare harta:
Pasul 1: activarea optiunii
Suportul offline exista ca o optiune experimentala, care trebuie activata inainte de a putea fi folosita. Avand conexiunea wireless la Internet activa, intri la Settings – Labs si bifezi optiunea Pre-cache map area.
Pasul 2: alegerea zonei dorite
Prin cautare sau pur si simplu prin glisarea hartii trebuie sa gasesti locatia care te intereseaza. Apesi prelung pe acel punct pana apare label-ul cu numele regiunii.
Pasul 3: descarcarea datelor
Acum trebuie sa apesi label-ul respectiv. Va fi afisat un meniu cu mai multe optiuni, printre care si Pre-cache map area. Apesi acea optiune pentru a incepe download-ul.
Pe parcursul descarcarii hartii si a informatiilor din zona selectata, operatiunea va fi indicata astfel:
In functie de viteza conexiunii la Internet si de cantitatea infromatiilor disponibile poate dura mai putin de un minut sau cateva minute chiar.
Daca zona descarcata nu-ti este suficienta pentru itinerariul pe care vrei sa-l urmezi, poti repeta acest proces si in zonele adiacente.
Stergerea cache-ului
Cand nu mai ai nevoie de suportul offline din Google Maps pentru zonele selectate anterior, este o buna idee sa stergi informatiile descarcate pentru a elibera spatiul pe telefon sau pe cardul de memorie.
Faci acest lucru mergand la Settings – Cache – Precached map area. Acolo vei vedea o lista cu zonele salvate local.
Pentru a elimina informatiile corespunzatoare unei zone trebuie sa apesi micul X rosu din dreptul ei

Tasker acționează pe bază de profiluri definite de utilizator. Fiecare profil include acțiuni și scenarii de desfășurare. Acțiunile pot fi minuțios setate. Spre exemplu, dacă intr-un anumit interval orar vreau să ascult muzică pe telefon, aplicația imi va permite să setez cu ce aplicație este muzica redată, ce melodie/album/director, care melodie să fie redată de mai multe ori, la ce volum etc. Posibilitățile sunt efectiv nelimitate. Spre deosebire de alte aplicații ce promit să ofere funcționalitate similară, Tasker nu acționează numai in baza locației GPS, se poate defini o stare pentru momentul cand am plecat de acasă și nu mai suntem conectați la rețeaua wireless de acolo. Mai mult, putem defini o acțiune bazată pe poziția fizică a telefonului, dacă, spre exemplu, este intors cu ecranul in jos.

Tasker lucrează și cu alte aplicații instalate pe telefon. Putem seta o anumită stare la momentul declanșării unei sarcini in aplicația ToDo, care este sincronizată la randul ei cu Google Tasks.
De exemplu, poti alege ca atunci cand pornesti bowser-ul sa se activeze conexiunea wireless si, la inchiderea lui, sa dezactiveze wireless-ul. In acest caz conditia este pornirea respectiv inchiderea browser-ului. La pornire actiunea este activarea conexiunii wireless, iar la inchidere – dezactivarea acesteia.
Un alt exemplu, poti crea un task prin care sa fie activat automat GPS-ul cand pornesti o aplicatie de navigatie. La inchidere, acesta sa fie oprit.
Actiunile prezente in aplicatie sunt disponibile in functie de configurarea hw/sw a device-ului!

Nu porneste download-ul. Nici direct si nici prin link. (onlinetv romania)
Chiar acum i-am dat install pe tab si merge.
Logheaza-te pe google play, ii dai trmitere la device-ul inregistrat, daca nu intra in cateva secunde pe dispozitiv, restartezi conexiunea de date 3G sau wifi.

Este un serviciu gratuit Samsung de administrare si localizare a dispozitivelor pierdute sau "imprumutate", tot ce trebuie sa faceti, e o inregistrare a dispozitivului mobil la Samsung direct din dispozitiv(Samsung acount).

Ca si apple se lauda cu ceva asemanator , dar daca opresti din meniu... l-ai rezolvat! Probat
eu inregistrarea pe cont am facut-o din prima zi, nu am operat nimic pana azi in contul samsung, dupa am tot schimbat fw, root... pe ambele device-uri.
Azi am dat de acest serviciu m-am logat si surpriza aveam cele 2 dispozitive inregistrate, am inceput apelare, localizare...completare date si totul a mers ok.
Nu cred ca se leaga de fw ci mai degraba de hw.(ambele inregistrari le-am facut din dispozitiv, din site nu am incercat sa vad exact ce date cer)
cert e ca Samsung obtine administrare dispozitiv doar prin acele setari specificate mai sus si nu are nevoie de bifarea acelei setari : Administrator dispozitiv precum cei de la find my phone, bitdefender....etc

Ca si apple se lauda cu ceva asemanator , dar daca opresti din meniu... l-ai rezolvat! Probat
in cazul de fata dezactivarea acelor setari necesita confirmarea parolei Samsung Acount, nu are treaba cu contul google si nici nu e vreo aplicatie care poate fi dezinstalata. Si cum am mai spus chiar daca opresti GPS acesta este repornit in background pana la finalizarea localizarii.

O aplicatie prin care primim Notificarile din Android direct pe PC vizual si auditiv printr-o conexiune USB sau prin reteaua WiFi, se poate expedia si SMS direct din PC.

Pentru aplicatii "free-ruite" folositi cu incredere mobilism (http://forum.mobilism.org/viewforum.php?f=398). Eu il folosesc de ceva ani, inca de pe vremea cand aveam windows mobile.
Au si o aplicatie gen market, cu care nu este nevoie sa incarcati forumul in browser.

utilizare dispozitiv Android ca si telecomanda pentru Youtube, suporta sincronizare cont youtube via Google, playlist, control volum, derulare, play, stop...
pe versiune Honeycomb(nu am testat pe ICS) vad ca nu mai necesita instalarea softului remote si este implementata direct in playerul youtube si necesita doar logare si pairing(Menu/ Adaugati Youtube TV).
functioneaza concomitent cu mai multe dispozitive imperecheate pe acelasi cont Youtube!

Mai greu cu iGO pentru rezolutii high, din cate stiu maxim este de 540x960 qHD dar nu va afisa in totalitate screenul, tu avand un 720x1280. din ce am testat pe tab 800x1280 si merge ok este Sygic Aura si Route 66(Drive & Walk -- versiunea pentru Samsung) le poti testa in mod trial dupa care daca te aranjeaza le cauti in alte Market-uri:)

am primit notificarile cu acest update dar nu am avut timp sa_l testez, plus ca in seara vreau sa fac trecerea de la 3.2 la 4.0.4 pe tab, cu siguranta o sa-l bag.

1. There are two ways to get Email and Device ID
a. Easy way: install this Device ID app, it will show you your emails and Device ID
b. Difficult way: Open dial pad, call *#*#8255#*#* ( 8255 = TALK ). If it opens “GTalk Service Monitor”, find lines that begin with JID and Device ID. Your email is JID, and your device id is a string that after android- prefix
For example: if it shows android-1234567890abcdef , then your device ID is 1234567890abcdef

Is is against Android Market’s ToS?
- I’m afraid that it is. Please read Section 3.3 for more information. So again, you at your own risk.
Where is the Options page?
- Click on the Wrench icon on the toolbar, go to Tools -> Extensions. Find APK Downloader. At the end of its description, you’ll see a link to Options page.
Why do I have to enter my email, password and device ID? Does it store or send my password to another place?
- The extension only stores email, device id and Android Market cookie in Chrome local storage, on your computer. To be able to get Android Market cookie, it needs your email and password to login at https://www.google.com/accounts/ClientLogin . After it’s done, password is not stored, email is stored to display on Options page, Device ID and Cookie are stored for later requests. I do not send those information to another sites.
Why don’t you just put one account in the extension, so we don’t have to use our information ?
- That’s good for users, but not for developers like us. For example, when 1000 users download same app, it only counts 1.
Why do I have to disable SSL error warnings first?
- This extension needs to send data to https://android.clients.google.com/m...api/ApiRequest (https://android.clients.google.com/market/api/ApiRequest) . If you don’t disable that warning, Chrome will display an error page, and there is no way to make this extension work.
Is it safe to disable SSL error warnings?
- It’s safe if you know what you’re doing. Please notice that it only disable SSL warnings, not disable SSL protocol.
But I recommend that you should create two separate Chrome shortcuts. One with and one without –ignore-certificate-errors flag.
Again, do you collect our information?
- I don’t want to get into trouble by collecting users information, so I try not to have it in any way. The only thing I’m collecting is which apps are downloaded by users. You can view the source code to make sure about this.
Can it download apps that not available in my country or not compatible with my device?
- The answer is yes, because it uses T-Mobile operator code.
Can it download paid apps?
- No, of course not, unless you purchased it with your logged account before. Please remember this isn’t a tool for pirating.
Why do you make this extension?
- I’m an Android developer. While working on my new project, I have to decompile some apps on Android Market. Everytime I want to decompile one, I have to download it to my phone, use Astro to backup it to SDCard, connect phone to PC, then copy the apk file. That’s a really long and painful to me, because I have to do it over and over again. That’s why I come up with this idea.

Tips

If your system has come with the default hardware audio filter, you will need to disable it or it will causes the distortion.

Pe langa transferul de date sau efectuarea de plati prin tehnologia NFC se pot rula si profile task personalizate de catre utilizator ce controleaza aplicatiile sau functiile smartphonului.

Descriere
Vu+ Player is an Android app designed to allow you to control and stream from your Vu+ satellite receivers, either from the same network as the receiver, or from a remote location. Although designed for the Vu+ range of receivers, it should work with any satellite receiver compatible with Enigma2. There are three main purposes for this app:
1) As a substitute remote control while viewing your TV. If you do not like equipment on display, your receiver can be placed out of site (and IR remote range) and this app used to control it. You can change channels, look up EPG-information, set timers, send messages, use its virtual Remote Control etc.
2) A means of watching your satellite receiver on a portable Android-device at home. If you have a receiver with two or more tuners, then you can even stream an alternative channel and watch a different channel to the one displayed on the connected TV.
On selected receivers, such as the Vu+ Solo2, you can enable the transcoding function. This will enable streaming on an alternate port with the ability to watch HD channels with reduced bit rate. This function is experimental and still under development.
3) A remote viewer. If you have a very good upload speed from home and download speed from your current location, you can watch the stream from your satellite receiver remotely. The app can work from anywhere in the world where you can get a good WiFi/Mobile connection. All you need is a dynamic DNS address at home, e.g. DynDNS and forward ports on your router. Possible scenarios are airport lounges, coffee shops, hotels, etc. Receivers supporting transcoding, such as Vu+ Solo2, can enable this function and take advantage of this since lower upload speed is required in this mode.

Experienta: Nu am folosit niciodata aplicatii de genul insa pana sa-o folosesc nu mai reuseam sa depasesc 24-25 ore autonomie pe Note 2 care e destul de generos,doar pe timpul noptii aveam o pierdere de 15-20%!, intr-adevar din cauza configurarii defectuase-full enabled, sincronizari, push la maxim la toate conturile, google now, location, updates....
am inceput sa mai tai din ele, la conturile de mail am creat program de sincronizare /zile-ore de varf...
am dezactivat cardurile google now care doar in roaming face diferenta pentru Romania(pacat)
la sincronizari conturi la fel, cateva rectificari mai ales la conturile neimportante ca Samsung, Yahoo, SoundCloud, chatOn...si alte balarii
am instalat versiunea beta free am setat-o si stupoare nebunul nu mai vrea sa se descarce :)
am obtinut x1.80, nivel baterie 49% dupa 1z,10h 31m, utilizare telefon, navigare pe internet, ceva facebooci, conexiune 3G, mai mult o utilizare lejera insa cu aceeasi utilizare nu reuseam sa strang 24 fara reincarcare, pe timpul noptii acum am un max. de 3%!
aplicatia lucreaza foarte bine cu 3G Watchdog pentru monitorizarea traficului de internet.
Daca tot suntem la save battery...
Unii stiu altii poate nu, in setings/Utilizare date/ (android 4.0+)se poate restrictiona traficul de date in fundal atat in data mobile cat si in wifi per aplicatie, ce va duce automat si la o autonomie crescuta dar si a protejarii planului de internet, aplicatii cu trafic gen Teamviwer sau cele de streaming audio/video pot face ravagii la buzunar daca sunt "uitate" in background, aplicatiile de genul Dropbox au nevoie de sincronizare in wifi si sa lucreze in fundal(Atentie :NU le setati sincronizarea in DATA Mobile).
Dezactivarea auto-update la Gplay cat si update firmware OTA.

Daca tot am pomenit de Dropbox, pentru sistemele cu el preinstalat acea oferta 25-50GB ce vin pe anumite device-uri, in cazul meu Samsung, in setari/Cloud/cont/ sunt 2 functii de sincronizare; imagini si videoclipuri, daca acestea sunt activate sistemul va crea un folder sync in care se vor stoca toate fotografiile si videoclipurile prezente in folderul Camera Upload din Dropbox, ele pot proveni si de la alte dispozitive conectate la acelasi cont pentru o incarcare offline in Galerie, acesta functie va diminua spatiu de memorie, la mine ajungand la 6GB, majoritatea fisierelor prezente si pe sdcard fiind facute de catre acelasi aparat- deci dubluri.
Dezactivarea acestei functii nu va afecta sincronizarea setata in aplicatia Dropbox(sunt 2 setari diferite , cea de sistem si cea a aplicatiei) insa nu va mai putea fi disponibila vizionarea instant a continutului Dropbox direct din galeria telefonului.
Daca se doreste pastrarea acestei functii e recomandata golirea prin bachup a folderului DCIM astfel evitam dublurire, economisim spatiu si avem si instant la imaginile Dropbox, functia nu e rea insa problema e ca nu poti seta un path custom pentru acest folder sync, default fiind in memoria interna!

The Movie section leaves quite a bit to be desired lot of missing older Movies and TV Series .
They really should have introduced a second App for Arabic and Foreign channels even tho' its possible to filter those out after every update you need to Log in again every time yet again .... and then Re-do your filter list again and again , lot of effort it should have been made quite a bit more basic IMHO .
