On going further modifications and testing of satellite capacity RCS / RDS on satellite Intelsat 1W. The company operates international satellite pay service Digi TV today and made other modifications of parameters of a leased transponder. The amendments concern the frequency 12.538 GHz, pol V, which used to Monday, February 20, 2012 SR (symbol rate) 10 Msymb / s FEC 3/4. Today there was a further reduction in capacity of the multiplex - SR was reduced by half - that is 5000 to ksymb / s, packet frequency shifted to 12.541 GHz. Multiplex testing has three positions named "." (Dot). All are encoded Nagra Media Access (known as Nagravision).

The remaining capacity of the transponder uses RCS / RDS to distribute news reports, in HD resolution.
