According to a source, after end of checks РН "Zenith-3SLB" it will be returned in platforms for continuation of preparation.

As experts of the Federal space center "Baikonur", РКК "Energy" of a name have informed at the cosmodrome, this week With. " Amos-3 will expand a cover zone of retransmitters of a Ku-range, will provide high-quality communication and broadband data transmission in territory of the Near East, the Europe, Africa, and also in some areas Northern and South America ", - has explained a source.

Moscow, on April, 28th./ИТАР-ТАСС/. From Baikonur at 09:00 Moscow time the booster rocket " for the first time has started Zenith-3SL Б ", have informed in Federal space agency/Роскосмос/. It will deduce the Israeli telecommunication satellite " Amos-3 " into a geostationary orbit.

It is the first start-up from the modernized starting complex "Zenith-TH" within the limits of the international project " Ground start ".

Originally start was supposed to be carried out on April, 24th, but it has been transferred because of unavailability of the ground process equipment.

" The траспортно-adjusting device which brings up and establishes rockets on a starting complex, could not depart in time from a starting table before start ", - have explained at the cosmodrome. The booster rocket/РН/was ready to start.

Looks like there was some kind of problem with the last burn of the Blok DM-SLB on the AMOS-3 launch, according with this http://izvestia.ru/news/news173271 (in russian).

The planned orbit for AMOS-3 was 35786 x 39092 km x 0.0 deg but at the end of the third burn the satellite was on a 34225 x 39368 km x 0.7 deg orbit. This has to be corrected using some precious fuel on AMOS-3 that led to a 3 year short on the operational life time of the satellite.

Cu parabolica de 185 nu intra pachetul YES ,voi incerca din nou diseara,cu toate ca au anuntat ca va avea o mare acoperire se pare ca nui asa.

Nici la mine, in centrul tarii, NU ESTE SEMNAL PE AMOS 3... asa cum am spus si dincolo, nu cred ca YES de pe Amos 2 a trecut pe Amos 3... am incercat si eu cu aparat de masura & antena de 2.2M si chiar nu se observa diferente de semnal pe acele transpondere
Amos 2 spot ME il prind ocazional dimineata pe la ora 6-7... in mod normal, daca tin cont de acoperirea Amos 3 spot ME, trebuie sa am semnal cel putin la limita pe Amos 3 spot ME si asta nu numai dimineata!
