Hi, this is my first post so Allo' Allo'.
My home debian server runs perfectly when using a dreambox as a card reader, but i'm having an odd issue using a phoenix serial/usb card reader directly.
I have done the below but i'm not clearing certain movie sd + hd and sport sd + hd channels on 28.2e.
Any help in streering me in the right direction would be appriciated.
(Using Infinity Phoenix as reader in Debian)
apt-get update
apt-get install gcc
aptitude install libusb-dev
apt-get install make
apt-get install build-essential
(ftp nftytool to home dir)
cd /home
tar -zxvf nftytool-1.1.tar.gz && cd nftytool-1.1
mkdir /var/nftytool
cp * -r /var/nftytool
cd /var/nftytool
./configure
make
reboot
(then ftp into the server as root and checked /VAR folder and confirmed that nftytool folder is there and all the files have transfered into it.)
(then ftp cccam.cfg to server and transfered the same into /VAR/ETC then restarted cccam.)
cccam stop
(to set frequency)
cd /var/nftytool
./nftytool -p phoenix -- -p phoenix -f 3.58 -e
SERIAL READER : /dev/ttyS0
BOXKEY: /dev/sci0 xx xx xx xx
The only thing that i can see is i have't enabled TRY ALL CHIDS : /dev/ttyS0
Is that the answere?
What i's dmesg logo tray reconect infinity usb run dmesg and put hear the logo message.
Hi there.
I enabled TRY ALL CHIDS : /dev/ttyS0 but than did not fix the issue.
I wonder if it's an entitlement issue?
Below is the dmesg results.

You hawe used tutorial of install ?
hear (http://sateliti.info/showthread.php?11783-Using-Infinity-Phoenix-as-reader-in-Debian)
you driver not work insmod
Yes install correctly no errors. ALL channels clear except sly movies and sports.
If I put my card in the dreambox the movies and sports clear as they should.
I have also tried reader on different frequencies but 5.58 and 5.68 make no difference. 6.00 doesn't clear at all.
It is odd that only the movies and sports won't clear so it can't be a driver issue as if the driver was incorrect the reader would not work.
insmod is used to install modules, what modules am I missing?
Any other ideas?
Simple fix, need to check the below are on the same device.
SERIAL READER : /dev/ttyS0
BOXKEY: /dev/ttyS0
