The new release main benefits are: the new media player playback smoothly all movie files and outstanding picture stability at all bitrates !
High fidelity sound fans are granted with AC3 and DTS (when AC3 downmix is OFF) forwarded to S/PDIF and HDMI.

The known unsolved bugs are :
- no output on the SCART
- no HD skins ...yet !
- some strange artefacts in video mode 1080i on Thor HD channels (use 720P or 1080P)
- the cardreader driver still in hold !

Cum fac sa gaseasca conexiunea de net ? pentru ca wizardul imi spune ca "nu gaseste conexiune internet".
Daca se poate un pic mai detaliat la acest capitol atit cu DHCP pornit cit si oprit .
Ce punem la IP , Mask , Gateway si DNS lasam autoconfigurare sau facem ceva?
Cum downloadam emu sau facem upgrade?
Cu ce tools ne conectam la Enigma 2 ca pe spark am inteles Total commander dar aici?

In procedura de initializare ( Start Wizard ) alegeti oferta default ! cea cu
DHCP enabled ...si va fi bine ! la iesire veti gasi reteaua mergand si cu acces
la Internet !

Dar la nameserver 1 trebuie sa punem un IP anume ca la test spune ca not recognize.
La test network toate sunt pe verde iar ultimul nameserver 1 pe rosu , e ok asa?

Am facut asa cum spuneti voi dar cind incerc sa downloadez emu din RSP panel spune check network si ramine asa , de aia cred ca ceva nu e ok.
La test retea adaptor retea e verde , retea locala e verde , DHCP -verde , adresa IP verde si Nameserver rosu .
Nameserver e pus cu IP gateway .

mana dar acum chiar ca nu este cazul !

Chiar nu inteleg de ce nu vrea . Merge weather plugin arata perfect vremea in zona mea .
RSP Panel/ installer merge download softcam.key si download camd3.key dar la download emu sau download emu config apare in partea de jos screen check your network si nu executa nimic.Da ping la google ..
Emu acesta nu pot sa il iau de undeva sa il pun cu stick ceva?

Poti ! emu este acelasi Oscam de la Alien ( Spark ) ...la fel si configurile dar ....
- trebuie pus oscam in /var/emu si config in /var/keys dar daca nu l-a descarcat
panelul ... nu va sti ca exista ! asa ca asteapta sa se rezolve cu serverul ca poate
este down ! fisierele keys vin de altundeva de pe net ... reteaua merge deja la tine !

super imaginea , functioneaza si dts si webinf iar playerul in se misca excelent in retea . setat pe 1080p nu mai face freez-uri pe canalele hd dar pe programele de stiri gen realitateatv anunturile care apar pe crawl ( parca asa i se spune la burtiera pe care sunt rulate stiri ) nu ruleaza cursiv ci sacadat . un skin smecher hd si cardreaderul functionabil si avem receptor smecher :)

Imagine destinata celor care nu au decodor extern AC3 si altele ... mai rare.

Acum merge si iesirea scart, avem si webif.
Pana nu renuntam la SPARK suntem constransi la 32 mega.

For new users:
"RECORD" labeled partition is automatically mounted on /hdd/movie; the other partitions are mounted in /tmp/[device]
- when mounting the HDD you can see only valid Linux partition
- it supports cifs; you have to enable it in the menu and edit the configuration file (var/config/amnt.cfg)
using the appropriate PC IP address, login username and password and the folder name you want to mount.

I installed the latest version of enigma2 on my alien. Everything works fine except mgcamd EMU decoding is not working.
By looking in the mgcamd logs, I see that mgcamd is receiving the ECMs without any problems and decoding them. Also I can see that the DCWs coming out are fine, but there is no picture. I tried it with different providers with different encryption systems, same thing happens.
FTA channels work without any problems.

este o problema cunoscuta si la care se lucreaza , sa speram ca va fi rezolvata in reviziile viitoare . pentru remediere scoateti rec de sub tensiune 2-3 minute si o sa plece imaginea

La versiunea asta nu vede fisierele de pe partitiile NTFS, versiunea viitoare va rezolva si aceasta problema.

Ai configul de la o versiune de oscam (cea din spark) pus la alta versiune de oscam (cea din e2).
Nu ar trebui sa fie probleme de functionare.

Poate mă ajută cineva care a testat E2 pe scart imi arată alb-negru .La setări imi apare mesajul problemă cablu euroscart am incercat cu altul si aceeasi manifestare.Pe spark merge fără probleme.Vă multumesc

Hi guys,

I found a solution for this. The problem is that mgcamd is trying to write to descrambler device /dev/dvb/adapter0/ca1 , and the image is expecting ca0.
To get it working you have to this:
cd /dev/dvb/adapter0
rm ca1
ln -s ca0 ca1

This deletes descrambler ca1 and makes a sym link to ca0.

I have noticed that oscam from the server after a certain time when there is a break with CCcAM image freezes and then must restart image.Is there a solution for this?
