Top 10 tricks for a smooth CCcam Server THANKS @ neohack

'' 10.Dynamic address if chosen over Static IP address has to be configured in routers for better result. (If multiple servers are configured using same router, it is better to use the same Dynamic IP address and to simply use different ports.)

9.Connect your server directly to your router. Avoid any switchers. Use surge protector to avoid any power failure

8.Connected servers have to have a good ping and uptime close to 100. Slow pings and UNSTABLE servers disturb CCcam.

7.Avoid any downloads and especially uploads during peak hours

6.Sid assign to better serve your peers and to avoid any conflicting SIDs

5.Prioritize Clines according to ping and ECM percentage. Put fastest servers first. Also, Filter your Clines to avoid fake and old cards

4.If necessary, update CCcam.cfg once a day or use a script to do so.

3.Script to check if CCcam is running

2.MINIMUM DOWNHOPS: 1

1.Avoid to go beyond HOP2 and preferably HOP1 (Exchange locals only) Config in CCcam would be:

oF: user password 0 0 0 { 0:0:2 } { } { } server.xxx.xxx
oC: server.xxx.xxx 12789 user password no { 0:0:1 }

All of us need to put our receivers on Standby or switch to an FTA channel if not watching TV
Good communication with peers is an essential key as well. Try to message your peer prior to deleting his/her line. ''
