UFS910 e2 stick image, all latest RSP updates included, based on TDT rev.1749
AC3 DownMIX is NO longer mandatory.
The most important thing that we want emphasize, regarding this new release, is that receiver is more stable now.

In order to avoid annoying situations when receiver stop responding, you will find a new feature, EMUwatch, that can be enabled/disabled from the RSP panel, the Start/Stop EMU menu option and the main goal is to act like a watch-dog for your active EMU

Partially solved, the image works if DCW has over 800 MS delay.

New drivers, but quality is not better.

Primele impresii si probleme:
Grave
- crash in Media Player dupa ce se termina o melodie
- pasii pentru reprodus:
1 load mp3s in playlist
2 start one of them with OK
3 browse to another
4 start this one with OK
5 repeat steps 3+4 a few times
6 leave mp3 play to the end
7 at the end => crash
- n-am reusit sa gasesc crashlog-ul

- picture player-ul e inutilizabil
- daca merge(rar) e infernal de lent
- uneori nu incarca pozele deloc (cel mai des)
- pozele de dimensiuni mari le refuza cu eroism
- preview-urile sunt decodate ciudat, alb-negru si inclinat (pixel depth and/or format mismatch)

- fara imagine imediat dupa instalare indiferent de satelit si post
- face tuning (arata SNR, BER, EPG, etc/) pe canal dar nu arata nici o imagine
- gaseste canale noi daca dai search
- nu merge chiar daca descarci o noua lista din RSP Menu
- merge dupa ce am incarcat o lista de la o versiune de E2 AAF

mai putin grave sau minore:
- nu face automount (la partitiile FAT32 cel putin) asta cred ca-i intentionata - dar se poate rezolva usor
- nu citeste numele lungi de pe FAT32 - in Media Player totul arata aproape inutilizabil
- nu vede in Media Player extensia .trp pentru fisierele salvate cu imaginea originala Kathrein
- forever spinning cand am incercat sa pornesc un .ts inregistrat cu AAF last summer dream

Crash in Media Player
Problema cu media playerul e cunoscuta si se pare ca se rezolva abia prin imaginile peste 1850. Asta e un bug conoscut si dezbatut.


Fara imagine
La instalare dupa ce termini primul start este obligatoriu un restat !
Aici nu e vorba de BUG! Pur si simplu abia dupa restart se considera instalata imaginea.

I just activated the new RSP image with Incubus 0.96 as a client to a 7025 cccam 1.2, with EMU Watch activated.
I will let it run to see if it continiues to crash or not.

1) You mentioned that the problem is "Partialy" solved, what do you mean ?, are there more probs with incubs and cs ?

2) Should the Software Manager work ?, cause for me it doesnt, just an empty box

Problema cu disparitia aleatoare a sonorului am remarcat-o si eu. Daca schimb canalul inainte/inapoi revine. Ceva similar remarcasem si la un beta mai vechi, dar acolo disparea la fiecare schimbare de canal.

Cortorent, tu iesi cu HDMI direct in TV sau intr-un AVR (amplificator)? Eu am un AVR (Denon 1910).

Problema cu sonorul am observat-o si eu. Este aleatoare, apare destul de rar si daca schmbi canalul si revii, isi revine si sonorul.
La mine intra prin receiver ONKYO si apoi in TV.
Si eu cred ca am mai remarcat la alte imagini chestia asta, nu mai stiu la care ,sau daca a fost la mai multe ,dar tot rar.
Playerul l-am folosit cam putin, si nu mi-a creat probleme.
Una peste alta multumim echipei pentru imagine. Eu personal de cate ori am instalat AAF si PKT am fost nemultumit de stabilitate. Au poate mai multe chestii prin meniuri , dar ce folos daca la stabilitate sufera. Ca pana la urma vrem sa ne uitam la TV si sa facem din cand in cand cate o inregistrare. Restul sunt chestii interesante, care demonstreaza ce poate Kathy si cei care se ocupa de soft, si care de multe ori ne surprind prin inventivitate.

Stabila cum ne-am obisnuit cu imaginile RSP.Chestia cu sunetul mi se intampla si mie, nu e asta o mare nenorocire.De cand am instalat-o insa, n-am reusit uptime mai mare de 12 ore si am zis sa reinstalez totul de la zero, cu format HDD pe USB (pana acum doar stergeam vechile imagini din partitia respectiva) si inclusiv rescrierea flash-ului cu 2.02 SBL(pana acum am avut AAF 2.0c3 parca ii zice).Chiar daca il lasam pe un canal necodat, tot blocat il gaseam seara, in fine poate acum se schimba treaba.Pe partea de satelit si emu n-am reusit sa obtin vreun ecran verde cu toate incercarile de zapping si mutat antena pe usals de la 75E la 30w.Nici pe skay uk la 28 si fara emu watch activat, in conditiile in care o buna vreme a mers cu freez-uri nu s-a blocat, basca am vazut Hitman pe Acction HD cu subtitrare in limba romana cu ajutorul plugin-ului de subtitrari.Eu merg pe mbox, m-am acomodat mai bine cu el.Ce sa zic , e bine, pe partea de player nu prea m-am omorat ca nu e punctul care ma intereseaza cel mai tare, dar mai testam.
In alta ordine de idei, @Zildan, "mare om, mare caracter" si aproape singur la razboi, poate acum ca s-a dat spre studiu codul sursa sa mai apara cunoscatori in domeniu care sa-l mai ajute si pe el...

Sint de aceasi parere cu @hd56fox in ceea ce priveste stabilitatea imaginilor RSP.
Acest lucru a fost intotdeauna remarcat si pe alte forumuri inclusiv aaf.
RSP image sint prin traditie deja, cele mai stabile.
In plus, despre sharing si emu nu se discuta la aaf pe site, in timp ce RSP image pune accent pe acest lucru.
Cine vrea sa vizioneze programe tv se da cu RSP, cine vrea google-plugin...

Hello Zildan,

1st of all i want to wish merry xmas amd a happy new year to all and to thank you for your efford and the new image. (i tryed to send you a PM, but it shows always 0 sent items...)

The new image is much more stable than all others b4, i managed to to have a NO freeze time of 48hours and to even record(timer) a movie.

Unfortunately after 48h i got either a colorfull snowy screen or a Purple screen and the UFS has frozzen again.

My configuration is :

UFS910 with 2.0 official image in Flash
4Gig USBStick divided in 4 Partitions
Each E2 Image is installed in its own Partition
E2 latest RSP Spynx, EMUWatch on, Incubus 0.96,
local CS to a 7025 with cccam 2.1.2
The Card i share to the UFS is a Sky Germany Card A02 (same as German S02 card, Nagra 3 cards with Betacrypt tunneling).

I read that all others have no similar problems anymore, so it seems that the probs occur with my setup.

Can you help me please ?

am instalat utimul RSP - toate bune si frumoase - dar nu il pot conecta la internet. Am modif si MAC placii in boot, KCC vede imediat kathy-ul, doar router-ul meu nu il vede (Huawei de la RTC). In mod flah se conecteaza imediat.

am tot verificat si IP, gateway... dar to degeaba. Nu apare nimic in router.

Are cineva o solutie ?

Daca e "vazut" de KCC, atunci presupun ca e vazut totusi de router - calculatorul si Kathrein sunt legate la acelasi router, nu? Poate e problema de DNS? Intra cu telnet pe Kathrein, da un "ping www.google.com" si vezi daca iti rezolva numele.

Dupa o serie de teste si azi - am ajuns la concluzia ca nu routerul nu vede placa in aceasta imag. Am instalat Indian Summer si cu aceleasi setari a mers din prima. Ideea e ca pe router apare mac-ul placii cu IP-ul (dhcp) asignat la boot in flash sau Indian summer. In schimb cand boot-ez in RSP - nu modifica nimic, ramane acelasi Ip si Mac anterior. Daca restartez router-ul nu mai apare nimic.

Am modificat si in fisier MAC-ul placii si tot degeaba. Cum spuneam si mai sus - KCC merge ok.

O idee ceva ? Ce mai pot incerca ?

Dupa cum am sugerat mai sus, ai verificat din Kathrein daca ai acces la DNS? Ce iti zice "ping www.google.com"? Incearca apoi sa dai un ping direct la un IP public si vezi ce se intampla (de ex. da un ping la Google de pe calculatorul tau ca sa vezi un IP public). Nu spun ca sigur e problema DNS, dar e una din explicatiile posibile.

I am using rsp sfinx 3.98 (great work by the way) and the BLUE button works correctly , i use it every day to switch to radio .

Tried it out yesterday, the image looks good ... i left the kathi running over night but in the morning the box was hanging, no reaction on the remote or buttons .. only a switch off workd ...

CrossEPG is a plugin for Sky UK, Sky IT that will donwload detailed EPG information for one week.

First you should use CrossEPG Setup according to your needs and then see the EPG download process. If everything is ok, you will be able to see usefull and uptodate info.

Nu merge decodoru DTS in ultimele imagini. Se pare ca e ceva cu licentza.
In cea veche era activat (chipul din Kathy are decodare hardware DTS ).
CA sa auzi sonorul DTS trebuie sa ai receptor audio (statie) cu decodare.

For the german sky channels a "germany" is added after the channel name, but for sky sport info it is misspelled as "gernany" where and how can this be changed?

Recording is working but it is writing to the wrong stick ... is there a setting where i can change where to record to?

Found out that i can do it manually with the red button -> rsp menu ....

but i have to do it after every restart how to do it automatically?

2nd problem if i click the record button and watch via telnet the movie directory i see the .ts file growing but if a stop the recording the file is everytime only 1kb .. where is it dissappearing :(

Confirm afirmatia lui Amorak. Din cate canale am incercat, cam 75% (ochiometric) au intreruperi la sunet pe DTS. Cel putin pe HDMI. Nu am incercat cu un cablu optic - desi nu as crede ca e vreo diferenta.

Scuze, viteza, bat-o vina. Intr-adevar, despre Dolby Digital era vorba. Iar intreruperile sunt ciudate. La mine cel putin, nu e ca atunci cand e semnal slab la satelit si sunetul e "taiat" brusc. Mai degraba e ca si cum ar reduce foarte repede volumul la minim. Ai testat cumva daca problema apare si le versiuni mai vechi de RSP sau la AAF? Eu momentan nu am nici una instalata.

Problema e un pic mai ciudata. E si de la soft si de la hard.
In general pe SKY UK nu merge bine Dolby Digital, are intreruperi cam pe toate canalele, dar in rest merge aproape pe toti satelitii.
De ce zic ca e si soft ? Pentru ca pe imaginea originala merge sunetul peste tot.
De ce zic ca e si hard ? Pentru ca un kathy care mergea pe softul original nu mergea pe nici un canal pe Enigma. L-am schimbat cu un prieten care oricum nu folosea DD ca nu avea pe ce si m-am trezit ca merge si pe E2.
(Cu exceptia Sky uk dupa cum spuneam)
Deci concluzia mea e ca sunt kathy care ai putea spune ca daca merg pe soft original atunci e de vina e2 si sunt kathy care merg si pe original si pe E2 deci ai putea spune ca cele dinainte au si hard o buba.

Pe MTV HD si pe majoritatea canalelor cu DD (90%) se intrerupe sonorul din cauza softului. Cu DOMICA 4 sau 5 (AAF2.0e) sonorul merge foarte bine pe toate canalele HD cu acelasi aparat. Poate se va rezolva aceasta problema in viitorul apropiat ... sau poate nu.

Acum e un film pe SlyScreen 1 HD , ma uit la el de la inceput si face uneori cate o intrerupere, dar la italieni si pe nemti nu face nici o problema pe sunet. Pus pe TOSLINK pt ca nu am statie cu intrare HDMI.
Am o chinezarie in birou care are optical si spdif si un Denon in sufragerie generatie mai veche.

Incurajat de Zildan, mi-am luat si eu un cablu Toslink si, minune, merge Dolby Digital pe aproape toate canalele HD la care am acces. Exceptia enervanta este BBC HD de la Canal Digital Nordic. Mai mult, dupa schimbarea cablului nu am mai avut nici pierderile complete de sonor la schimbarea canalelor - desi inca nu pot sa spun ca am testat suficient de mult timp pentru a fi 100% sigur ca am scapat de ele.

Totusi, nu exclud o forma ciudata de efect placebo: vazand comentariile lui F11 am setat amplificatorul din nou sa ia audio numai de pe HDMI, dar interuperile nu au mai vrut sa apara. Ciudat...

Anyway, deocamdata sunt foarte multumit despre cum merge cu cablul optic. Cantitatea de lazi de bere datorate lui Zildan ia proportii :)

You might have problems with the USB memory stick.

Did you try to remove emu and reinstall it from the RSP Kathy Team Menu? If cams.cfg was removed by accident this should fix it.

If this doesn't work, try reinstall the image on another partition, so that you keep your actual settings in case you will want to transfer them, later.

Tried installing an additional emu, but still the same problem. When doing a directory of /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/Fantastic/cams.cfg

the file is not listed and i cannot create a file with that name. It's as though the file is still open somewhere.

Hopefully, new image will be available soon - to install in partition

Se mai pot posta imaginiile rsp pe forum sau trebuie tot timpul sa faci doar upgrade de la ceea veche la ceea noua ?
Cel putin pt. cei care nu sint familiarizati cu aceste instalari/upgradari este destul de anevoios/greu sa stai sa insalezi o imagine noua pe 2 partitii ( 1 partitie ceea veche si 1 partitie ceea noua ca apoi sa stergi partitia cu vers. veche )
Destul de interesant acest mod de instalari , parca s-ar lucra la securitate si nu trebuiesc stiute toate noutatile de detinatorii acestui receptor
Stiu ca unii ma vor injura pt. cele scrise mai sus , dar din pacate asta este un adevar - nu am mai vazut imagine rsp postata pe forum cred ca de vreo 3-4 luni pe putin ( cu toate ca imag. rsp au mai aparut intre timp )

Subscriu la ideea de a continua postarea imaginilor pt. download. Mie upgrade-ul din meniu din Kathrein nu mi-a mers niciodata (probleme voodoo la stick, am incercat si sub directa supervizare a maestrului Zildan). Instalarea "manuala" imi este mai la indemana.
