E2 RSP 3.17b TDT 1142
Stick Image for Kathrein UFS-910 1w or 14w
RSP menu on RED button. Former RED command was moved to PLAY
- A very good and up-to-date settings list (28E-30W)is included.
We will have frequently updated lists made by EnF70, settings you can download from RSP Panel
- We recommand you, still keep AC3 downmix on for stability and fewer (or even, no) green screens.
- We also recommend to format partitions with ext3 fs.
A few words on changes since the former E2 RSP 2.02 TDT 953:
TDT:
- new libplayer2
- enable keyboard and mouse support
- enigma2_01052009
- Switch to MediaPLayerExtended
- CSAT FR fix
- wma support
- mkv AAC
- vob support
- scan and recording both working
- all scan problems and "No SID in PAT", fixed
RSP:
- New WEBIF by tic2000
- RSP panel reaction speed increased
- Name server issue, fixed
- Intelligent EMU management:
- each time you choose emu install, latest revision of EMU on server are checked and menu is redesigned, to include them
- in the emu start/stop menu you will see only those that you have installed
- you cannot re-install an emu if you don't remove it first
- "RECORD" labeled partition is automatically mounted on /hdd/movie; the other partitions are mounted in /tmp/[device]
- when mounting the HDD you can see only valid Linux partition
- it supports cifs; you have to enable it in the menu and edit the configuration file (var/config/amnt.cfg) using the appropriate PC IP address,
login username and password and the folder name you want to mount.

- imaginea contine o lista foarte buna si actuala (28E-30W). Periodic, vor exista pe serverul RSP, listele EnF70, cu care v-ati obisnuit deja,
permanent actualizate, pe care le veti putea descarca direct din RSP panel.
- va recomandam ca sa mentineti AC3 downmix ON pentru stabilitate si pentru a "vedea" cit mai putine ecrane verzi.
- mai recomandam sa formatati partitiile cu ext3 fs/

- se face automount al partitiei cu eticheta RECORD in /hdd/movie
- la montarea HDD apar doar partitiile linux valide (in mod normal ar trebui sa montati doar sdb..)
- suport cifs inclus, se activeaza din meniu si se configureaza /var/config/amnt.cfg pentru a face automount, sunt necesare adresa IP a PC-ului,
numele de utilizator si parola de conectare, precum si numele subdirectorului Windows ce se doreste a fi montat.

I need your help please. IncubusCamd 0.55 works for me conecting to a CCCam server, but the 0.82 does not. Any special change required in the conf file compared to the one that works with 0.55?
Do you intend to release a flash version of your image or not?

I format a one particion of 3 in ext3,
I install with KCC-3.2 in the partition ext3, I modifi in ba the bootp.conf:

But dont start de image, she a bucle and continius restart when arrive at ufs-910 restard a initial bootmenu, and repit the same all time.

Is correct the "ext3load" in ba/ba/RSP-1141/bootp.conf?

For the image to work on an ext3 partition you don't have to edit bootp.conf.
Format ext3 fs partitions and install e2.

What channel, what emu, did you even tried FTA, etc. If you give no details you will get no solution. That if you actually want one.

My problem is solved in the meantime by removing my CI module. When I insert it again, no picture and sound so this image is not working with my CI but for the rest pretty stable.
I am still puzzled by the CI cams.
Both my CI Cams get recognised as viaccess and aston. However they do not work with the cards (SRG and CD) (in 4.49 AAF I could get the SD channels of SRG to work..., but that was last time)
Zildan, am I correct that only TDT can solve this matter?
Have you any info if this is on the priority list and being worked on?
Are there any work arounds ( I do not have another receiver).
The new image is great and works fine.
Would it be possible to add the plugin of officiallyme for the UKepg?

Hi,
my ufs910 and my TV are connected via HDMI.
Unfortunatelly, if I select (during the initial startup) or later via the menues the video output to HDMI, the TV reports 'No HDMI signal' and there is no TV-picture at all.
My current settings for video output is therefor 'component'. And with this all works fine. Any hint, what the HDMI-problem may be ?
Btw. not a single dump until now :-). A really stable image !

not at all javier3034. there was an configuration error in mbox5.cfg, which is for mbox5 only, you can't run both mbox4 and mbox5 same time. ;)
Stiti cumva de ce nu merge FTV HD pe 9E cu aceasta imagine ?
La mine acelasi canal cu AAF 2.0e merge foarte bine, nu sunt probleme de semnal. Am incercat cam toate variantele de "extraparametri" de configurare si tot nu merge, adica merge 1min si se blocheaza receiverul.
Ma poate ajuta cineva ?

pai aparent merge si la mine FTV HD insa dupa 2min sonorul incepe mai intii sa se intrerupa, mai apoi imaginea ... si pe urma se blocheaza receiverul.
am reincarcat lista de programe cu UPDATE si face la fel ...
problema este ca in rest merge foarte bine pe toate canalele si nu am nici un ecran verde, se pare ca este cea mai stabila imagine ... insa cu FTV HD nu reusesc ...

pot scrie mai multe linii cu "user" si "passw" + ip-ul , de la cei cu care fac schimb cccam in "incubus 0.82"
fiindca pt. o "linie" incubus iti trebuie :
- un "user" + o "passw" + ip-ul server-ului (a celui cu care ai facut schimb de linie) sau ma insel ?
Faptul ca poti baga mai multe linii, nu doar una cum e cazul in 0.55
merci de info. liniile din incubusCamd.conf trebuie configurate altfel decat in cazul 0.55?

This message appears only at first start of emu, and does not affect emu operation.
IncubusCamd.conf downloaded from server is for v 0.82.
If you want to use ver, 0.55 or 0.50, copy old version of conf to /var/keys/.

am reinstalat imaginea si FTV HD face la fel, adica se intrerupe sonorul, imaginea ...
sunetul pe 5.1 se intrerupe pe canalelel HD ...
este posibil sa fie din aparat, ca am vazut ca pe altele merge bine si FTV si sunetul 5.1.
oricum, cea mai buna imagine din toate timpurile, felicitari Zildan:dance:
Problema cu FTV HD poate fi din noile drivere video.
Am verificat, asa face si la mine.
Sonoru il lasi pe AC3 downmix ON daca vrei sa nu ai probleme.
nu stiu daca e o calitate a noii imagini sau a noului incubus, dar ce-am observat e ca dupa ce pornesc kathi, adica il scot din stand-by, nu mai e nevoie sa restartez incubusul, pleaca direct. inainte, trebuia sa restartez incubus (buton rosu/7/restart emu) ca altfel era blocat...
in rest, no green screens, nimic, dar il am doar de o zi, o sa mai postez impresii..
Wery nice Image I really love the RSP images.
But wonder about something i notised on the dvbsubtitle position on DreamTv HD skin. The sub is wery small and second line is wery low on my tv. Only halfe of the letters is showing
Is it possible to change the position on the dvbsub and maybe make the letters a bit bigger ?
If it is possible to do myself what , and which file to edit in ?

Have a only 2 friends, that don't view the chanels in HD, not FTA HD channels and not encryptet channels with all versions E2 images and with original images or AAf 2.0e he view perfect the chanels in hd.
He change lnb, the signal is perfect, he prove the katy in another house and nothing view the Hd chanels or have continius pixelations and katy crash.
Only view one chanel in HD, the einfestival-HD.
What is the possible problem?

Secondly I would like to ask about a thing...
I cant find any plugins to download in the plugin-menu (menu-->plugins-->green button)
Its actually the first time I use a RSP E2 Image so Im not that familiar, but with other images I always find alot of plugins to download.

Unfortunately DVB subtitles is related to the resolution of the subtitle frame, and cannot be changed by receiver. You will have to accepted as it is.

strange cos i could change the position. So i guess it must be a way to change the sice of the letters carakter as well. I think it is Skin related
As i have tested other images with other skin both position and letter sice is different.
Or am i wrong ?

2. Imaginea pe canalele HD nu se vede cu viteza normala - are un fel de inainte -inapoi - (nu gasesc alta exprimare :dance:) - de ex "frumoasa" banda cu scris pe TVR HD se "plimba" tremurat -
Nu am sesizat ce spui, da exemplu de canal cu SR mare care nu merge.
Pe Thor merg toate foarte bine!!! Card sa ai acuma :).
Scrie si ce mod video ai si daca te dai cu Autoresolution. E posibil ca de acolo sa ai belele!
La mine nu merge nimic cu sr mari -
Da, am pus pe autoresolution, si eu m-am gandit ca-i de acolo si am pus OFF inapoi, dar degeaba, fac un reinstall si mai vedem - thks

I ave a slight problem with mounting the harddsik. If I reboot Kathy with the HDD inserted, the box would not boot completely and hangs in the middle. But if I boot without the disk and later mount the HDD from the RSP menu, then it works OK. What to do so that I can boot the box with the HDD inserted?

I must point out that my USB is formatted as ext2 and the HD as ext3, if now that could be aproblem.

Have solved the probem myself by:
1. All partitions on the USB changed to ext3 instaed of ext2 as default by KCC
2. Modify the the mount line in file /etc/rcS as under:
mount -t ext3 /dev/sdb1 /hdd/movie

ive had the exact same situation for quite a while and didnt know what to do. i have the USB formatted as ext2 and HDD as ext3. I guess ill have to try your solution, although formatting the USB stick and all partitions right now doesnt appeal that much to me.
BTW, did you try to format the HDD ext2 instead of formatting the USB in ext3?

@Hi Zildan can you help me I have installed the above image now 3 times and i have no remote functions can you help,as soon as I remove the stick XBA I have all the remote functions.this is how i istalled the image
1) reformatted the stick with hp format tool
2) back to expert setup
3) installed notefall 6 renamed stik with kathrein usf910 in lower case then installed aaf 2.0e image flash
4) reformat stick and renamed XBA and installed b/alan
5) installed boot image
6) then installed rsp 3.17 tdt in s/by mode as soon as I install the stick image I have no remote functions have you any idea what has gone wrong I have also tried other sticks as well ,but everything is working when the the stick not installed in the kathy

das Image läuft bei mir sehr stabil.
Leider bekomme ich das Mounten der USB-Festplatte und meiner Verzeichnisse am PC nicht hin.
Da ich die rumänische Sprache leider nicht beherrsche, wäre ich sehr dankbar, wenn mir jemand in Deutsch oder Englisch das Mounten erklären konnte.
In var\config habe ich zwar die beiden amount-Dateien entdeckt, weiß aber nicht,was ich dort eintragen muß.
Kann man auch nfs-mounten?

cifsdir="Livia" <- name of the share on your PC (Livia is my niece name)
cifsuser="user" <- user used to log on on your PC (in windows it's the name you see on the log on screen)
cifspass="pass" <- password for the user (if you don't have any just use cifspass = "")
Go to RSP Panel -> Disk Units and enable cifs.
Reboot.
If you did it right you should see the content of the folder in /mnt/hdd
Please use English in this section of the forum.

S-a rezolvat cu FTV HD, cred ca era de la ei (din transponder) si nu din E2 deoarece acum merge foarte bine

I have a problem on all the images, RSP, Black Pearl, etc. If for some reason incubuscamd stops working and the image freezes, after sometime appears a granulated image (like the one in old tv's when there was no signal) and kathrein locks, needing a hard reset. Does this happen to anybody else? Reason? Solution?

Yes it happens to anyone.
The "solution" is to change channel when it freezes.
I have a problem on all the images, RSP, Black Pearl, etc. If for some reason incubuscamd stops working and the image freezes, after sometime appears a granulated image (like the one in old tv's when there was no signal) and kathrein locks, needing a hard reset. Does this happen to anybody else? Reason? Solution?

Hi, is possible run Samba or NFS on this img?
CIFS is a samba client, NFS client is also running.
I have a problem : the image write nothing on VFD display .. Everything else works "fine"(of course any versions of incubuscamd stops in standby mode,and need restart if i wanna use the cam) ,but the vfd stay black .
I tryed with and without internal hdd , install from two different computers, with two different versions of Barry Allen (5.3.7 and 5.4.4 ),but the result is same : nothing on VFD .
What is wrong ? Somebody have an idea ?

This is my first post and I would like to say thank you to the RSP-team for such a brilliant and easy to use image.
I am also very interested in the last two posts, re-making a smargo reader work.
I use an old programmer in smart mouse mode via a pl2303 serial/usb converter. This works really well.
Using the information posted above from Zildan I tried to make the same set up work using an ftdi serial to usb converter.
This unfortunately does not work, there is no debug from newcs on port 1001 and if I telnet to kathrein "ps" I get this:

Thank you for your observations, I don't not have a smargo yet, but intend to get one, either the dreambox type or WB electronics smartcard reader, as they both only have one usb connection.
I have a very good working set up with both a usb infinity (this requires 2 usb plugs) or a VX Multi card programmer which needs it's own power supply.
These work through a pl2303 usb to serial converter.
Knowing that this works I tried an ftdi serial to usb converter with my card readers thinking that if it worked I could buy a smargo and make things more neat and simple.
It seems that the fdti converter is stopping newcs from running, I get no response on 8080, but usually use "putty" to monitor port 1001 which I set to "internal/all" in .xml file for full debug message.
Windows telnet doesn't work with TCP on 1001.
Unfortunately I am out of my depth now and need assistance from someone with more knowledge.

However, I have an an issue when mounting a HDD formatted in fat32 , with other AAF images The HDD is mounted automatically ( partition name = RECORD with movie directory)
rsp 3.17b cannot recognize the HDD FAT32 partition , I cannot find it in /tmp/<device>
Am I missing something?

Actual RSP amount.sh script mount only linux (ext2 or ext3) partitions.
I found issues playing m2ts video files (1080i format) . Playing is ok but freezes periodically each 15-20 sec . The same issue exists with latest AAF enigma 2 images.
Is it a bug in the Enigma 2 Media player?

Timeshift is not working, recording is OK. Cannot change the timeshift path /media/hdd in the menu.

Eu as fi curios sa stiu daca incerci sa ii dai din RSP Kathy Team menu > System Info > Network test .... ce iti afiseaza pe ecran. Sa nu cumva sa fi instalat versiunea care face testul de retea cu ping la o adresa "proscrisa".... Tineti minte ca avem un update pentru asta. Poate fi din cauza asta.
sunt pe router, si sunt pe aceasi clasa de ipuri (192.168.X.X). getwayu se termina cu .1.1 si ipurile se termina cu .0.X, stiu ca e putin anormal, dar asa au mers pana acum si is mai multe "lucruri" pe retea care functioneaza fara probleme.
si da, face test la google.com, unde zice ca nu o recunoaste (pe adresa) sau ceva de genu. si mai e un test unde-ti arata daca e ok interfata (ok tot timpu), dhcpu (depinde daca e pornit), adresa ip (aici tot timpu zice ca e neverficata) si ma doua parca care tot timpu apar cu rosu.
Testul de retea se face din Pannelul RSP. Testul din e2 nu merge bine, lipseste o componenta sistem pe care ar trebui sa o apeleze e2.
Am sugerat testul de retea, din RSP Kathy Team Menu, tocmai pentru a ma asigura ca imaginea instalata nu verifica inainte de download prin ping la sateliti.info ci verificand raspunsul pentru www.google.com.
Daca insa spune ca nu reuseste sa il rezolve, presupun ca DNS-ul de pe receiver nu este programat conform necesitatilor tale.
Solutia este sa ai grija sa stergi absolut toate DNS-urile in afara de cel care il folosesti in LAN pe orice alt calculator. Apelezi din telecomanda [MENU], Settings, System, Network si DNS1, DNS2, DNS3 le programezi din telecomanda asa cum ai nevoie.
Sper sa ai succes dupa aceea cu testul din RSP panel.

La setarea retelei in e2 (orice versiune) las doar "dns 1" restul le sterg si ip-ul si-l configureaza singur cand activez dhcp-ul (mentionez ca merg cu 3 versiuni de e2 ba pe stick) , fara nici o prb.
La fel si cu celelalte device-uri conectate la router , deci........

Scuze pentru start ! era in meniul de start/stop EMU ! singura problema era download de keys ( softcam si autoroll ) !
Panellul RSP merge la fix ! cu exceptia mesajelor catre VFD ... acolo este o ciudatenie legata de scrierea pe /dev/vfd
Aia se poate rezolva foarte usor.
Nu se modifica pannelul, se face un lynk intre cele doua device-uri.
The E2 RSP 3.17b TDT 1142 image is most stable E2 for Kathrein. It is really great work.
The only thing I miss is SUBTITLES. They are on menu but they behave very strange (at least in case of BSkyB channels- like "BBC News" on 28.2E, "BBC World News" have no subs at all).
-DVB subtitles are shown one word at the time, all the rest disappear immediately.
-TXT subtitles have the opposite problem, old lines do not disappear when the new ones come, so in two minutes all the screen is covered with unreadable greenish text.
So far I did not find any setting that could help with this problem.
I hear the new version is coming soon. It would be nice to see it fixed.

De foarte multe ori gasesc kathreinul blocat, pe ecran find numai "purici" pentru ca altfel nu stiu cum sa le spun iar kathrein nu mai raspunde la nici o comanda din telecomanda sau butoanele de pe front panel. este vreun bug in imagine sau exista vreo rezolvare?! In rest totul pare ok, deschide destul de rapid. Bootarea greoaie nu ma deranjeaza dar blocarile da.

Mai sunt 3 probleme care apar la unii sau la altii dintre utilizatori.
Prima problema si cea mai importanta, este faptul ca la anumite canale codate, cand intarzie DCW mai mult de 1s apare un fenomen de autoblocare din care nu iese daca nu schimbi postul. Daca apare doar o singura intarziere poate sa treaca cu success peste ea, daca se repeta intra in blocaje imaginea, sacadeaza si exista un interval de timp de circa 30 sec in care poti schimba canalul pt scurt timp si apoi revii. Daca nu schimbi in timp util vor ramane rotitele in miscare si telnet, reboot te salveaza.
Daca pauza de DCW e mai mare, intervine modulul silencegen care genereaza "zapada".
Am o solutie impotriva acestor probleme, solutie care va fi implementata in viitoarele imagini.
A 2-a problema deranjanta (rezolvata cred la imaginile TDT peste rev_1600) este blocarea pe BSKYB cand sonorul este pe AC3 si downmix e setat OFF.
A 3-a probema e butonul galben, in meniul audio, care din cauza subserviciilor, uneori nesesita mai multe apsari pana devine activ.
Daca se rezolva aceste probleme imaginea trece din beta in RC1.
Asteptam varianta de peste 1600 in care e rezolvata problema de pe bskyb. Asta e la fel de naspa ca cea in care DCW intarzie. Treaba cu butonul galben mai poate astepta.:clap:
Cand pornesc receiverul nu imi porneste din prima.Imi spune ceva de genu ca nu a gasit canalul in PAT.Abia dupa ce-l pornesc de vreo 4-5 ori apare imagine pe canal.Stie cineva de ce?

Probabil ca nu ai semnal, pe canal sau ai antena mobila si dureaza pana ajunge in pozitie.

Toata stima si respectul pentru munca pe care o depui aici, iti multumesc pentru asta-sincer, dar intrebarea este cit se poate de serioasa.M-am uitat exact la mesaj:Nu a gasit semnal pe transponder(Timeout la citirea PAT).Nu are treaba cu motorul.Trebuie sa reamintesc ca in fiecare seara il opresc de la curent.Nu porneste decit de la a treia-patra pornire.Motorul e pe satelitul pe care trebuie(ca acolo ramane la oprire).M-am gandit ca s-ar putea sa fie de la satellites.xml.Dar la lista de canale am facut update direct din receiver.Si crede-ma ca nu pune intrebarea un incepator...

Aceasta intr-adevar e o problema la tine, deoarece inca nu am intalnit la nimeni inca asha ceva. Inceraca sa mai pui odata totul din nou (imaginea, stikul formatat etc.), fara a lua lista de canale, adica satellites.xml, de pe server. Adaugi doar satelitu shi poti sa-i dai o scanare manuala. Bafta.
si eu am aceeasi problema, nu am motor dar am un sw 16/8. la schimbarea programului face de multe ori figura asta cu "not found in pat" incepe sa numere parca de la 3 la 0. cand ajunge la 0 uneori porneste programul respectiv daca nu schimb pe alt program apoi revin si merge.
nu am incercat cu alte img dar cu cele de rsp a facut asta inca de la primele img.

Pai mai face figura asta uneori la unele canale, dar peste 3 sec, ori porneshte ori ba, insa nu schimbi de 3-4 de pe unul pe altul ca sa porneasa...
Este vreo sansa ca in urmatorul release sa fie rezolvate si problemele de mai jos?
1. Suport complet pt. subtitrari la programele satelit - AXN e primul exemplu care imi vine in minte (da, stiu, pe AXN Crime si AXN Sci-Fi merg, pentru ca sunt incluse in imagine).
2. Subtitrari in Media Player - actualmente activarea subtitrarilor conduce la crash.
3. Se nu mai dea ecran verde din Media Player cand se ajunge la sfarsitul fisierelor - acum imi crapa cam in 9 cazuri din 10.
In alta ordine de idei, palaria jos pentru echipa RSP!
Cea mai grava problema era blocarea cand nu veneau DCW, problema e deja rezolvata si in max 24 ore sper sa scoatem oficial.
Eu am 2 aparate fiecare cu antena lui, una e offset cu HH cealalta e prime focus cu pozitioner.
Ambele merg perfect fara mesaje de tip "PAT", cu listele din imagine sau downloadate de pe server.
Acum vorbim de imagini din generatia RSP 3.85.
Cred ca o sa apara direct generatia 4.xxx, 4 semnaland un pas urias in stabilitate.

La drept vorbind, imaginile Zildan de pana acum mi se pareau cele mai stabile, la gradul comparativ de superioritate (plus minus un minut-doua cand ashteptam sa se restarteze, rar, uneori, dupa un ecran verde), shi acum chiar sunt curios ce o sa fie daca mai vine generatia a 4-a, in sensul stabilitatzii, probabil superlativ absolut... Bravo shi multzumim mult pentru munca depusa, pe care, sincer, nu shtiu cum o vom rasplati...
A incercat cineva sa instaleze in RSP cele doua plug-in pt subtitrare live (DrTic-E2 si ASD-E2) de AICI (http://dm-subs.lacurte.ro/login.php)?
Sunt functionale?
